The service was phenomenal. The food, delicious. Best italian restaurant in Philly, the closest thing I've seen so far to an authentic italian restaurant in Philly (I stayed in Italy for 6 weeks). We got the tiramisu and gelato, and we got the carbonara and pappardelle al ragù. All of it was just so good. I wanna come back again, but I need to save up for it because it was very pricey. But worth it.
Been trying to get here for years. I ordered a mango gelato. The flavor was very good--fruity and tangy without being overly sweet--but where this gelato truly shone was the *texture*. Silky and light, without a single grainy ice crystal in any bite. This made for a fantastic mouthfeel unlike anything I've had before.
