“Yum - first off, these are NOT ooey gooey cookies. They are firm on the outside and soft on the inside, but not soft like undercooked. They’re fully cooked and they are GREAT. But if you’re looking for doughy, these aren’t it. The oatmeal raisin was the best oatmeal raisin cookie I’ve ever had and I’m usually someone who forgets I love oatmeal and gets swayed by other fun flavors. Look no further, get oatmeal. All the others were great too. I love how she toasted the marshmallow upon ordering the s’mores cookie. Will definitely be back. Super cute location to sit down and have coffee and a cookie.“

“Having grown up with Texas breakfast tacos I was excited to see a spot in Philly to create what I was missing from home. Bfast taco was good, flavor was def there. A bit on the pricier end for a breakfast taco, even with a homemade tortilla. Was hoping all salsas were given out as well, tried the guaijlo , had good flavor. Not sure if I’ll be a reg just because they’re pricey. But I do appreciate what they are bringing to Philly.“

Relative to the tacos I think these tamales may not get as much publicity but they are unique and fantastic! Of course the tacos are great as well. Of the two taco versions, Lamb and Pork, the Pork was my favorite. The lamb was slightly dry and maybe needed a little spice for my taste. If you have to get them to go because of lack of seating, don't wait too long to eat! If only their standard hours of business were better I'd be there more often.“

“Food: 5 out of 5 Menu: 3.5 out of 5 Service: 4.5 out of 5 Ambiance: 5 out of 5 Value for money: 3 out of 5 The hummus is pretty addictive and can be ordered with interesting toppings such as minced beef or mushrooms. This hummus will make its place in my personal top 5 list and pairs really well with the soft, fluffy pitas. The lunch menu is pretty tiny, so you don't have too many options besides the hummus - just a chicken schnitzel platter or a vegetarian equivalent with eggplant. The place does get full, so a reservation is highly recommended for any meal. Service was warm and attentive and I enjoyed my meal with friends. There isn't much to dislike about this place besides the limited menu and the steep pricing. Even in an era where inflation is a known problem, Dizengoff surprised me with a bill of $30 for a bowl of hummus with mushrooms, 2 pita breads, and a small-ish glass of frozen hibiscus lemonade.“

“RUN to Ninja Bao, holy moly the food was delicious!! I am obsessed with the beef scallion pancake (that is rolled up like a burrito and reminded me of pho spices a bit) and the vegetable gyoza!! Probably the best veg dumpling I've ever had. The philly cheesesteak bun and cheesesteak gyoza were also amazing and full of flavor. Soup dumpling was okay, but the wrapper was nice. I enjoyed the texture of the bao a lot, and honestly the cheesesteak bao tasted better than your traditional cheesteak imo. Chicken gyoza was my least favorite and not a standout. A love stout vanilla beer which was smooth n creamy. My friend had an American burger with fries "very juicy" she like the fries too. My other friend had pork belly on bao buns steamed he said it was okay but he isn't pleased with most things unless his Mom makes it. Service was fantastic!! “This is a wonderful, quaint, byob brunch spot in the city. It's definitely more of an intimate/cozy setting as the space is really small. Nonetheless it's still such a cute spot! We brought our own champagne for mimosas and the orange juice the restaurant provided tasted really fresh. For breakfast I ordered the fried chicken and waffle Benedict which was delicious! It came with a side salad and normally I'm not a huge salad person but the light and refreshing flavors from the salad complimented the heartiness of the chicken and waffle perfectly. I also thought the portion size was perfect--enough to fill you up but not way too much food. For dessert we ordered the churro waffle per our server's recommendation which was sooo good. The staff was extremely nice and attentive and I had a wonderful experience here! Would definitely come back!“

“Update: originally posted my unfortunate experience and the owners response here was prompt and understanding. I am amending my review in light of their response because it shows that they do care for patrons and our concerns. i will not contact further because i did not post the review for some freebies but for the principle of appropriate response to customer concerns.I recommend ANY of their cupcakes because they are always on point. their cookies are big and beautifully delicious. cinnamon roll is good. iced coffee hits the spot!i’ve had the hangover sandwich, the mccrumb, waffle hash and breakfast burrito and i just find it really awesome that they feature other vegan restaurants food. that’s innovative and great for trying different options with each bakery purchase.if you love cannolis get the large otherwise the mini will do the trick!chocolate and confetti cake are a GREAT gift for any last minute parties!parking sucks but there’s nothing the business can do about it. i would do dine in more often if there was easier parking in the area because the decor is very fun. they take apple pay.Snippet of my original review:i buy here very often. i buy cakes for birthdays, uber eats for delivery and do pick up.for the first time, i had an issue and i told an employee and their response was indifferent. […] my solution: use the BOGO on uber eats when selling treats that their quality might not be up to par with usual standard and take customers concerns seriously.Vegetarian options: all vegan!!!Parking: parking is the worst. i would go there more often if parking was accessible.“

“I walked around the mall one day and noticed this new restaurant that was open. I walked in and got a takeout menu, looked at it and said I'm going to come back one day. It took a year but I finally went back My wife and I were on our way to another place to eat lunch and when we drove past the mall we decided to finally try Harvest. The restaurant is nice. Now this is a farm to table restaurant. They even list the farmers on the menu and the menu is seasonal. I'm not a vegetarian, don't care about gluten free and I don't watch calories but if you care about any of those things, this place is for you. So I had a hard time finding something to eat on the menu but I got a chicken club and my wife got the crab cake sandwich. And let me tell you, in 26 years of marriage I've NEVER heard my wife like the food so much! She said she could eat the crab cake sandwich everyday! Very flavorful she said. She said the food was good 4 times while we were sitting there. I couldn't stop laughing. Compliments to the chef! Based off that alone I'm giving 5 stars. My rating would have been 4 stars but again this is not my type of food. The chicken pita sandwich was okay, the chicken was dry. The pita bread made a difference. I'm going back to get that crab cake sandwich.“

“We checked out the Ground Up Cafe & Coffee shop last week in South Philly. This a great little coffee shop on East Passyunk. The decor was simple and fun with just a hint of an European vibe. Bistro seating was available inside and outside. It was very comfortable overall. The menu offered many choices from prepared sandwiches to baked goods. I wasn’t planning on eating, but then I saw scones - I had to try one. Cranberry - and it was delicious! The coffee was also very good (definitely made note of that for the next time I am in the neighborhood). The barista was also very pleasant. This is a great café to try while out and about shopping on East Passyunk. I’ll be back!#trustkj“
