“At Newark Airport, I frequently dine at Little Purse Dumpling because the food is consistently good, the atmosphere is nice with good music, and it is rarely crowded. Since it was brunch hour, I tried the vegetable and chicken dumplings. Both orders arrived hot and crisp from the fryer! The vegetable dumplings had a tasty blend of kale, corn, and tofu, not your typical fillings. The portion sizes were good for the price, especially since airport food prices are inflated. I am happy that this option is available because it has different offerings than other restaurants in Terminal C.“

“Honestly, considering this is located within the airport, this place isn’t THAT bad. Or at least our experience wasn’t. The pad Thai was decent (again what do you expect, it’s the airport, and it was pretty good for airport food). Sure it took a little longer than expected but it’s 6pm on a busy evening at the airport. Definitely the best we could’ve done“

“The dishes were all came out with extremely large portions and tasted authentically. The services were also great. We got complementary hot jessamine tea in that rainy day, and it really warmed us up. Strongly recommend the sesame sauce and garlic seasoned green bean sheet jelly noodles (which has meat in it) and the country style pork bone. And the inside environment was clean and quiet. The sesame sauce and garlic flavor so great, and the green bean noodles were fully covered with it. But if you are a vegetarian, make sure told them to avoid any meat in that dish.“

“We have been looking for a great soup dumpling place and this does not disappoint! Started with the scallion pancake, which has a hint of 5 spice powder. Really wonderful flavor and nice crunch on the outside giving way to a chewy inside. Also a nice refreshing start was the cucumber and garlic. Good cool crunch and nice flavor. The Shanghai Pork Soup dumplings came out next and in my zealousness to try I burned my tongue but that is on me. They were totally delicious. On a roll, we ordered the dumplings in spicy sauce which had a nice 5 spice powder flavor to it. So good! Will definitely be back! My favorite thing is the pork dumpling cam in the restaurant where they have a loop of how the dumplings are made.“

“The food, the people, the price, and the place overall is the best for dim sum!I’ve been coming here since I was a little girl with my family growing up, and hope to do so for many more years to come. Some may say the establishment is “out dated” but it’s actually the most authentic and true definition of what a small business is. It pains me to see how empty it’s gotten since covid, so if you’re reading this.. Pay them a visit, especially when it’s dim sum weekends with their carts!Parking: So much free parking in their own lot!Kid-friendliness: Super kid friendly, even I grew up as a kid here!“

“We went to the American Dream yesterday and ate here. This mall is insane and the food court is even better!! We decided on this restaurant and it wA so good. The containers are so cute and travel easy without spilling the soup. We got the short rib soup and the shrimp dumpling soup. Bothe excellent choices. Everyone was friendly and the service was quick! “Quite small but great food and relatively inexpensive. $10-20 per person if you just get noodles, but can be more depending on how many side dishes you get. Service is pretty quick as well. I recommend the 小椒牛卷饼, as well as the Fresh Seaweed side dish. Spicy food (one chili pepper) is generally on the spicier side, rather than more mild, but can be requested to be not spicy if you wish.“

“Not sure why this place has such negative reviews… my pork Tonkatsu Ramen was great! The pork tasted just like bacon but with a meaty texture, the egg was cooked well, the amount of noodles was perfect, and the broth was rich without overpowering the rest of the ramen components. Tasted better than other ramen I’ve had before and I would definitely eat this again.“
