“I came in 20 minutes before close and received absolutely phenomenal service! The workers were really sweet despite my timing and gave me the amazing suggestion of getting jerk fries. They weren't too spicy but perfectly seasoned and with a good amount of sauce. I'll definitely be returning! Support black business y'all‼️ & thank you all!!!“
“Nice and clean place!! I loved the pizza and the cheese cake!!!!!!!!!!“

“Great food! Unfortunately my favorite lamb chop is often burned to the point it’s charcoal and they are cheap on the sauce. If I forget to ask for extra sauce and go home with a takeout, it’s a pretty bad experience since the food is dry. Can definitely become way better restaurant with minor changes.“

“This is a small restaurant that serves tremendous flavor. The food was absolutely perfection. I decided to have the rotisserie chicken with rice topped with vegetables and it came with soup (marag) and salad, side of lemon and Yemeni hot sauce. Very generous portion and delicious. Hands down would go back to Bronx just to eat here. The rice was fluffy and aromatic and the chicken was roasted well and juicy. Service was fast and nice. Lots of drinks to choose from including Yemeni products and a self serve tea station. Basbousa was sweet and soft.“

“Amazing food! The falafel was crispy on the outside but moist and flavorful on the inside. I had the chicken kabab platter with hummus. I devoured every bite! I loved the generous portions! The tender chicken combined with the salad, rice, and white sauce was so delicious. I highly recommend!“

“This restaurant has been a cherished part of my life since my elementary school days. The garlic sauce is amazing, and their grilled chicken with the red sauce is pure magic. The boss's warm hospitality makes you feel at home, and their Basbousa dessert is a must buy after dinner/lunch. I can't rate it anything less than 5/5 - I'll be a lifelong customer!“

“Outstanding food, value, and service. The absolute largest amount of food ever for a lunch order in decades of eating in NYC. Excellent salmon--enough for 3+ meals, 2 huge pieces of great traditional whole wheat flat bread, rice with curried veggies (and lots of okra), and salad with dressing. Three meals' worth easily for the price of one. Great taste served with love. The next best part was how inexpensive for such quantities of authentic Yemeni cuisine.“

“I adore Middle Eastern cuisine, and while there are a authentic Middle Eastern restaurants in the Bronx, they are not like this one! I was ready for the challenge of finding a fresh, new Middle Eastern dish to bring to a buddy who was visiting for the weekend. This kind of food was something he had never had before. This eatery is located right in the middle of "Little Yemen." And yes, I had a gut feeling that it would be a positive experience. Due to the sizable Yemeni population, there is a neighborhood in the Bronx called Little Yemen! Having grown up on Middle Eastern cuisine, I was thrilled to discover this restaurant. This restaurant serves delicious Yemeni food, with a menu that includes lamb, chicken, and seafood among other alternatives. I started with an order of pita with hummus, keeping my appetizer simple. The hummus was delicious and fresh, and I was hungry for more! I picked the Kabseh Chicken for my entree since I wanted to relive my upbringing. It was quite flavorful, and just so you know, there is rice mixed in with the meat! They serve free soup with your meal and the rice is really wonderful. The rice was definitely a substantial serving, and the chicken was falling off the bone. They offer you many pieces of chicken, all of which are of a decent size. You may enjoy some delicious sage tea, and the best part is that refills are always free! Not to be overlooked is the dessert menu, which consists of classic choices. The Baklava was delicious, and I had it. The restaurant is cozy and welcoming, and the costs are fairly reasonable for the size of the servings they provide. You can pay with cash or credit cards here, and reservations are not required. The service was prompt and courteous, and the meal arrived really fast. Because this restaurant is in a residential area, you have two options for getting there: you can drive and park your car there or use public transportation. This restaurant is a hidden gem in the Bronx that you must check out if you appreciate real Middle Eastern food!“
