“Everything about this restaurant was amazing! It was impossible to carry on a conversation while eating because every bite was so delicious. The music, the hospitality and the descriptions of each course, all came together to make this a very memorable experience!“

“I've been here a bunch of times and recently went again. It was great!The vegetarian combo was fantastic as always. I think this place has my favorite injera. I've been here with a gluten-free friend and they offer a gluten-free injera option - so great! The lentil sambusa was flavorful and delicious, a great option for kids. Although, you should be sure that your kid can handle flavor and texture and spice; this isn't a place for buttered noodle kids.The service is always good and the space is nice.We sat in the back which was fully enclosed, so that was lovely. “Been to their location in manhattan it was so good that i decided to stop by during a pass through in Bedstuy. I cant get enough of the burgers and wings. They have to open more spots so I can easily get to their food. Definitely looking forward to it again.“

“Delicious Ethiopian food! It's not a 5 star for me because I had slightly better Ethiopian food before. But it is, by all means, delicious here. Service was good, but they seemed a bit understaffed and slower than maybe you'd want it to be . The atmosphere was perfect with really good music.“

“One of my favorite Nigerian restaurants in NYC. I recommend the Jollof rice, ogbono, esgui, okra stew, mixed meat, snails, shaki & goat meat. They have palm wine too. I love this place & recommend this place over the over hyped Lagos Nigerian restaurant in the city. “Food is always fresh and authentic. To bad there are no tables to enjoy the food in the restaurant ( thanks to covid ). But so worth coming for meal you can indulge in at home.Parking: If a space is available, you can park on the street in front of the restaurant. I advise that you have someone else in the car in case you may have to move while you're picking up the food.“

“I’ve been trying to find a replacement Nigerian fusion restaurant since Amarachi closed down. I’ve only ordered takeout so far but their Rasta Pasta had me ready to marry the chef. Their Smoky Jollof Rice legitimately tastes like it was cooked over firewood - it’s the truest most authentic tasting "party rice" I’ve found in NY, bar none. Their red stew was very good, though a tiny bit tart for my personal tastes, so I wouldn’t order it again. Their Mambo wings were absolutely fantastic.Their Suya Burger I was surprisingly not a fan of - I thought that would be a home run, but it tasted a little off to me. Accompanying fries were not good - very plain and bland. If you like thin flat overripe plantains you might also not be a fan of their plantains which is more chunky and a little less sweet, but they were definitely WAY better than other restaurants I’ve tried (Divine Flavoured, Buka, etc). Takeout/Delivery packaging is impeccable.Very excited to discover this place and to try other dishes in the future!“

“The neighborhood, in which this establishment is located, seems to be a quiet and peaceful one. It's actually no different once you enter the restaurant and that's important for me. I want to be able to feel comfortable and have peace of mind wherever I go, especially while spending money. I've never encountered any rowdy crowds or any drama whatsoever when coming here. You won't have to worry about language barriers because there are employees who speak English as well. There's nothing more I hate than exploring foods from other cultures and not being able to be serviced due to not being verbally understood. The food here is delicious and might I add that I'm always satisfied with the amount of food given. The attitudes of the staff are laid back, middle of the road I'll even say. It's not negative or over the top jumping for joy, but it's respectful just the same. Don't expect fancy decor, rather basic and simple.“

“This place is incredible. I came here about 4 days in a row when I was visiting from out of town. The stews are very rich in flavor. Prices are great, the cashier is very nice, and you can tell the food is the real deal based on the almost exclusively African clientele.“
