“Stopped here on a food tour and was treated to several dishes of this Eastern European cuisine. We loved everything we tried. Highly recommend for authentic food and beautiful decor. Staff very friendly and prompt.“

“Awesome food, very authentic. Our server was very friendly and professional. We had a great time. Favorite dishes were baba ghanouj, hummus with meat and the cauliflower steak. Red wine was so good. We sat near a sunny window and there was fairuz music so the atmosphere was perfect for a lebanese.Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs. My toddler liked the food.“

“While the restaurant has closed they are operating as a food truck. Please check their Instagram to see their daily location. Lately they have been in bed stuy.This review is for my visit over the summer. We went on a Sunday and received the following: seafood mac n cheese; hot honey oxtail sliders; blueberry cornbread and the Cater 2 U which has salmon, shrimp and crab cakes. No complaints on the food, the portion size or the customer service. Everyone is always nice. I've only met the male owner during my visits and he is the best! Sad to see the restaurant go but happy to see that they are still making food. Definitely check them out when you can.“

“Great service, the man the works there is very kind. The food was delicious and huge portions. Great atmosphere and it was very clean. The floors and tables were shining. I got the chicken crunch wrap, asada fries and the steak and shrimp fries. Definitely recommend. I can’t wait to try the other food on the menu. They also have a cool looking sticker collage in the restaurant“

“Its great having such an excellent BYOB restaurant in Bay Ridge.The food and service are both excellent and the ambience is very relaxing and tranquil. I found the menu/food choices/selection more than sufficient no matter what I have been in the mood for.“

“I had a couple slices of pepperoni pizza last month here with low expectations and was impressed. Best pizza in NYC? No but up there with the best $3 slices in NYC. The bagels are handmade here and lovely as well.But on to the star of the show: the Indian food is great. Chicken Chaat was really spicy in a nice way, a medley of great flavor with some heat. Samosas were fresh and crunchy on the outside. Lamb biryani was delightful, not too herbaceous but well balanced and nice meat chunks.I'll be back soon to try the Indian fusion pizza! Can't wait.Update: the Indian pizza is the best. Why is this not a thing yet? It will be soon. The crust could be better but the flavors on all their pizzas are phenomenal. The chefs here are creative and care about the quality they put out.I just tried their bagels again and maybe I got a fresh batch but they are so much better than I remember. Soft and chewy with perfect flavor. Not very dense but I think that's a plus. Omar's is one of my favorite places in Brooklyn. They deliver quickly and everything is great. We've ordered a dozen times from Omar's and have never been disappointed. My favorite dish is probably lamb korma. I hope they will offer a lamb korma pizza one day. I luv Omar's!“

“Absolutely delicious and LARGE portions! We have gone back a few times now and have gotten the chicken tenders (very large - similar to Popeyes) the wings - got the lemon pepper, and the chicken over rice bowls which were absolutely delicious, one of tbe best in the city! Everyone’s always been extremely nice, and delivery has always been quick. Highly recommend“

“Some of the BEST chicken I had. I got the #3 which comes with a tender, slider and fries.The fries were great, about the size of ShakeShack Spicy Fries and taste very similar as well.The tender was MASSIVE and juicy. I got the extra hot and it did not disappoint. Usually fast-food spicy is mild but this thing lit my mouth on fire, which is saying something bc I am a spice addict. It also came with a side of white bread and 3 sliced pickles so that was welcome.The slider was just a chicken sandwich with a tender in between and was great as expected, I'd say better than a Popeye's spicy chicken sandwich.Overall great value, I was only able to eat the fries in tender in one sitting and I was stuffed. I paid $17.33 total with tax & tip.“

“We loved the food at Joloff! We decided to explore a Senegalese restaurant during our visit to Brooklyn. Given that the African continent comprises more than 50 countries, African cuisine is diverse according to the region of the continent. Senegalese food is a cuisine that stands out.Pay attention when trying to locate the restaurant on Bedford Avenue, you will only see the word "Joloff" in green letters on the glass in front. If you are driving it is easy to pass by.The restaurant features small tables covered with beautiful traditional West African fabric, and livens up the place. The service was superb, the waitress was attentive and very kind.We began with the fried yuka accompanied by a sauce and a hot ginger tea. The yuka sticks offered a delicate flavor, and the unsweetened ginger tea packed a punch. Since the ginger tea is unsweetened you have the option to add the amount of sugar you desire. The floating mint leaf in the tea added a nice touch.For our main courses, we chose Mafe Ganar – chicken stewed in peanut sauce with vegetables, served alongside jolof rice. The peanut sauce delivered a smooth balance between the peanuts and the vegetables.Another dish we tried was okra and jolof rice, which was well cooked and had a pleasant flavor profile.One thing to note is that Joloff has a comprehensive vegetarian/vegan section on the menu, a feature I have not seen in other African restaurants.Joloff restaurant certainly earns my mark of approval.“

“Been to their location in manhattan it was so good that i decided to stop by during a pass through in Bedstuy. I cant get enough of the burgers and wings. They have to open more spots so I can easily get to their food. Definitely looking forward to it again.“

“For $6-7 range at this food truck. The combination plate came with chicken and lamb gyro, rice, salad and a tangy white sauce and spicy red harissa sauce. The flavor was incredible! It was very filling and a total bargain for how much food you get. Service was quick and friendly. Best of all for me who loves spicy food is that their hot sauce is actually very hot! They give a ton of food for the money you pay and it's cooked very quickly.“

“On 09/05/2024, my family and I went for dinner, ordered gyuru lagman, classic lagman and dapanji and they immediately brought us baursaks as a compliment and they turned out to be fresh and very tasty, then they brought us our orders and we were very delighted with the taste of lagman because that we haven’t tried such a real Uyghur lagman in New York City for a long time. The establishment is very clean and this is one of the most important priorities! And we really liked that they brought it in disposable dishes, starting with glasses, because it is much more hygienic than using reusable dishes, because with reusable dishes you don’t know which person ate before you and how they washed him, but disposable dishes are the most hygienic dishes! “Ordered on ubereats food came hot well packaged , ordered lamb gyro, chicken gyro and wedges, lamb gyro was not tasty, it was abundant with lamb chucks adequate amount of white sauce ( which also was not tasty), pita ( was soft and fresh), onions and cucumbers helped a bit, chicken gyro was way more flavorful would by that again and the wedges were good“

“Alhamdulillah and thanks to Allah to direct me to them. I just wanna say that’s the best halal chicken and lamb over rice in this whole entire planet. I am a big fan of it. But, I never ate this kind of food before. I recommend 1000% . Trust me, it will not disappoint anyone. The guy was really nice and gentleman. The taste of the food is unbelievable and really really good. I drove all the way from Cape may to Brooklyn and it’s 100% worth it. Everyone must try their food.“
