“Came here for my girlfriend's birthday and it was an amazing experience. The food was phenomenal and since it was our first time there, the staff were very helpful helping us pick items. We ended up getting the whipped ricotta dip, babaganoush, salmon belly skewer, hanger steak, and shaksuhka. Everything turned out amazing and we actually ended up getting a total of 3 extra pita orders as we were eating.Would highly recommend their whipped ricotta dip, that was the highlight of the night“

“I recently had a delightful dining experience at Leland Eating and Drinking House in Brooklyn. Starting with a refreshing porter beer from the tap, I then savored the incredible Japanese sweet potato, which was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The highlight of the meal was the Porchetta Sandwich with ZA'ATAR CHIPS. Encased in their soft and freshly made bread, the sandwich was a symphony of flavors, perfectly complemented by the crispy and tasty house-made chips. Each bite was a testament to their commitment to using high-quality ingredients and crafting memorable dishes. The cozy ambiance of the restaurant added to the overall experience, making it a fantastic place to unwind and enjoy exceptional food. I look forward to returning to Leland Eating and Drinking House to explore more of their enticing menu offerings! 10 star review!!!“

“What a great time! Hart's was a great intimate evening. The restaurant is small, cozy but warm and inviting. The dim lights create such a romantic and private atmosphere even while sitting next to other tables. It was a nice evening of good service, great conversation and a lovely atmosphere. The food was also very good. The donut appetizer was savory and delicious. The clam toast was pretty good. The trout was incredible. It was light but filling and tasty. I would return just for that dish. The lamb burger was also a hit. The pork dish was good as well. We didn't really enjoy the lemon curd dessert but the drinks and wine selections were all wonderful.“

“My friend and I were exploring Brooklyn and found Cafe Mogador in the neighborhood. So glad we stopped in because the ambiance here was immaculate and the food was so flavorful. We did a walk-in instead of reservation so the wait was a bit long, but we did come in on a Friday night and the restaurant was on the smaller side and was packed. The food wait was also on the longer side, but again, it was a busy Friday night.Hummus/Falafel Platter (5/5):The hummus was on the grainier side, which is my preference because I love the texture. The falafel was beautifully green in the middle, crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside. This was a well-made staple.Merguez Sausage Rice Plate (5/5):I don't know how they make their sausage, but it was so flavorful with a subtle kick that paired so incredibly well with the cucumber yogurt and rice for the perfect bite. The presentation of the sausage on the rice made me laugh a bit and slightly skeptical but it was simply delicious.Lamb Tangine w/ Charmoulla Green Herbs & Couscous (4/5):The lamb was fall-off-the-bone tender, and did not have that strong distinct lamb odor at all. The slight tartness of the charmoulla herb sauce cuts the heaviness of the meat, so I didn't get sick of the giant dish after a few bites of the meat. I took off 1 point because I felt like it didn't pair well with the couscous, but that's just a personal opinion.“

“Great service and delicious food. Try chicken vegetables soup it's yummy. Also chicken Mediterranean bowl is our favorite. Decor of the restaurant is also very charming perfect place for a date night. Beer selection is good something to choose for everyone. Highly recommend one of the best places to chill and eat in Williamsburg. You learn a thing or two bout Egypt. ?“

“Cocktails are incredible. Service is unmatched. Space is gorgeous. And yes, their employees are paid fairly. I own a cocktail bar in the neighborhood and know that someone has targeted them (along with their friends) with a series of unfair reviews. Ironically, they seem to not realize how this affects a business and in turn how much money is made by those who work at said business. I do not believe that recent bad reviews have been made in good faith. Anyone who’s been here knows it’s fantastic :)“

“Good but overpriced for what you're getting in terms of portions. Attentive waiters but the kind that make you feel weird if you order less than the usual clientele, not in a rude way by any means. Ambience is locals energy-- a nice go to.“

“We were looking for Israeli food for my dad's birthday dinner. We got a table for 8 and were sat in the back room. It was pretty tight in there. While our waiter was nice, the restaurant was super full and I don't think it could handle all the groups of people well. We each ordered drinks and the drinks didn't come out when we got our appetizers. Waited even longer for them. For appetizers, we shared a bunch of dishes. The hummus really is delicious and the warm pita bread is great. We asked for more pita but unfortunately the pita was brought out when we got our main dishes and we no longer needed it. The restaurant forgot my chicken schnitzel dish so I just shared the burger with my husband. They also ran out of fries for the night and it was only 730pm.. the restaurant has lots of potential but needs to figure out a better system for food and service. They were super apologetic and did comp the pita bread and dessert for my dads birthday. The babka dessert is absolutely a delicious chocolate heaven!“

I got the chicken crunch wrap, asada fries and the steak and shrimp fries. Definitely recommend. I can’t wait to try the other food on the menu. “I've dined in many places in the area. The rusty face is by far my favorite go to spot for any occasion. It has everything, phenomenal food, slamming drinks, great music, tasteful decor and an awesome ambiance. I've brought dates there, had close knit family dinners and even had my mother's 60th birthday at the rusty face. That place never misses. 10 for 10. The best part of the whole establishment is the owner, Illy. He treats every guest like a close personal friend because he genuinely cares about your experience and his restaurant. I've eaten all kinds of food since I was a kid. The rusty face is now the only place I'll order grilled octopus and my son who is kind of a picky eater, now loves lamb because of this spot. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself and loved ones to a meal at the rusty face. You won't be disappointed.Kid-friendliness: The owner loves everyone. Bring the whole family! If you have a furry friend, there's also outside seating.“

We have gone back a few times now and have gotten the chicken tenders (very large - similar to Popeyes) the wings - got the lemon pepper, and the chicken over rice bowls which were absolutely delicious, one of tbe best in the city! Everyone’s always been extremely nice, and delivery has always been quick. Highly recommend“

“Such a lovely dinner! Food made my mouth water and had so much flavor. I had the hummus and chicken, both fantastic. Highlight was when the team brought me out a sample of the fesenjoon at the end of the meal because they wanted me to try it and I’d been torn at the start of the meal. Absolutely worth it. Very cozy, will certainly be back!“

His graciousness and efficiency in managing our evening were exceptional, making us feel instantly welcomed. Our waitress, Brie, was a delight. She was knowledgeable and patient, guiding us through the menu with her thoughtful suggestions. Her attentiveness made our meal even more enjoyable, as she perfectly timed each course to suit our pace. The ambiance at Nina is ideal for a romantic or special occasion. We originally planned a photo shoot in the scenic Dumbo area and decided to dine at Nina afterward. It turned out to be the perfect choice, allowing us to capture beautiful moments and enjoy a fabulous meal.I'm already looking forward to our next visit and would highly recommend Nina to anyone seeking a beautiful setting with outstanding service and delicious cuisine. “Great spot for brunch in Williamsburg! The servers were super enthusiastic and welcoming. The shakshuka tasted very fresh and green. The serving size for the poached eggs with halloumi and tomato was extremely small, but it was still delicious.“

“Stop by with a couple of friends on a Friday night, place is warm and welcoming. Started with a Negroni which was spot on, had hummus platter which was the best in NYC so far, falafel which was bigger in size than the known falafel but yet very tasty. My friend raved about the cauliflower, but the star was the smoked lamb shawarma. All in all, good experience with attentive and responsive service with excellent food. We would have stayed longer had the chairs been more comfortable. I’ll be back (German accent)“
