“The line for this place can get pretty long on the weekend, but that's because the bagels are very good! I even brought some for my friend when I visited him in Vegas this past weekend and he really enjoyed it! I've had their classic bagel with lox and I definitely enjoyed it and would love to go again. The space is a little small, but if you go early enough, you can definitely get a seat. If not and it's a sunny day, mccarren park is right down the street where there are many benches or even the park house.“

“This is my absolute favorite banh mi spot! You can order any time of the day and the bread will still be just as fresh and crispy. I've never tried banh mi like this anywhere before. The number 1 is my go-to and is so compact with flavors. You definitely can't go wrong with anything here! I always pair my banh mi from here with an iced milk tea. This is a small local shop in Brooklyn and is a must visit if you're around town.“

“Finally got to try this local spot while I was in the area for work and I came in hungry and came out stuffed and had an amazing sandwich! I had the roast beef with the works and it all was assembled so well and wasn’t all over the place the meat was cooked perfectly just the right amount of toppings and the fresh mozzarella was outstanding too I wish I could have tried all the sandwiches but that will have to be another time and the cannoli was so fresh and delicious perfect amount of sweet to it definitely can’t wait to visit again and the hospitality could not be beat felt like I came home to my relatives and they made me feel welcomed and at home and they really care about the community great people definitely support them they are great!“

“Haven't been here in ages. Came from Florida to hit my old stomping grounds that I ate at. Had the Gargiulo burger al the way dipped. So when I walked around the corner to see the shiny metal caravan, on kitch fake grass, selling sandwiches, I was thrilled. “It was raining cats and dogs. I was looking through the fridge for something to eat. I figured, let me cook these ravioli and find a place really close by that has meata balla...and that will be my dinner. I checked in at Charlie's for a few meatballs and saw they also had some Italian Specialties to go (manicotti, meat lasagne), so I also picked up the lasagne. Nice experience in there. I loved the posters. I quizzed the guy, "Which one of these people in the posters said "Vote Early and Vote Often"? I pointed to Al Capone. We chatted about Al Capone, I told him some of the info I knew, which was alot! Anyway, I had a wonderful lasagne and meatball dinner and there's enough for two more meals. Thanks, Alex!“

“Everything was delicious! My friend and I arrived around 7:30PM and there was no line. We ordered and were then told closing is at 8PM, but the cashier was very nice and polite and still welcomed us to dine in or outside in the back where there was a nice cozy outdoor patio. He was very helpful and funny and it was a great start to this wonderful experience! We ordered the Ton-Katsu Sando with extra Katsu to share and it was soo good! The bread was soft and pillowy, and the Katsu wasn't heavily battered nor dry. The sauce was a nice touch on top and even with the extra meat, the sando was delicious altogether, not soggy, and held up nicely! Bought a loaf of bread to take home, too. Ribbon Fries came with a choice of 3 seasonings, and we went with the dashi furikake. This wasn't your typical French fries. It was thinly sliced Idaho potato in the form of a slingy! It was seasoned well and you can taste the dashi furikake seasoning with every bite. Their Yuzu Ginger Ale was very refreshing and not too overpowering. Time flew by and we didn't realize it was already past 8PM, their closing time. A staff member quietly started to clean up the tables and chairs around us and that's when we knew. We hurriedly tried to finish up but he reassured us that it was ok for us to take our time since he still had to clean up. It was getting dark and a bit chilly as well and he quietly brought us a table lamp and started the fire pit for us too! He was so nice and thoughtful! After chatting a bit with him, we then found out he was the owner and appreciated him for his kindness. We felt bad for overstaying so we helped clean up and put away our table and chairs before we left when he walked away. Overall a great experience and can't wait to come back!“

The quality is always on point and the freshness of the ingredients says it all giving you a final product. The weekend is never complete without a visit to F&M. Most times I go there on Saturday morning the Jetsons are on TV as I wait for my order. I love this place and I love the people who work there and the owner is there everyday workin hard. This is 100% how a NYC deli should be. This place needs five stars. Things don't need to be aesthetically pleasing or fancy/hip 24/7. Sometimes all you need is an amazing sandwich, great service, and some Saturday morning cartoons. These guys here really deserve the best always back there working hard and making it happen. “I loved the breakfast sandwich that I got here! My go-to at any deli is a BEC with avocado and this is definitely one of the better ones I’ve had. Bacon was crisp, avocado was perfectly ripe and I got half of a large avocado, roll was chewy, and I added chipotle mayo for a little kick. It’s a good size BEC and this came out to $5. Can’t complain at all! And everyone who worked there was very kind. Will be back soon.“

“This has to be the cleanest Subways I've ever been to. The staff here are super friendly and patient. They aren't cheap with the portions and make a sandwich really great. The bread is always so fresh and soft if you don't have it toasted. I'd prefer to come here than the Subways closer to me since they are so clean. Truly impressed with how well kept this one is! “Different sort of review here. I never did receive my food that was ordered on UberEats. A driver was never called, just a human error. But in this digital age restaurants don’t care. And seems like we have all forgotten the human touch. The owner called me back and apologized for the error and asked how he could make it better. This simple apology & act of acknowledgment shows me this restaurant owner cares about his customers and I’m sure the same care is put into the food. I look forward to eating here.“
