“Today I was serviced by a great young man. Hevhadca great attitude and excellent work ethic. He's a multi Tasker and held down the store. There was a great number of ppl but he gave each client the time and attention they deserved. It appeared that he was the only employee available, but he handled each one with care. He took care of orders that came in and individuals in store with great care! I forgot his name but I was definitely impressed. My receipt says Xavier. “There are more than a handful of SoBol locations on Long Island, but East Meadow leaves nothing to be desired. The staff here really cares, the bowls have delicious fresh ingredients, and the variety on the menu is everything you could ask for. Adequate parking and a convenient location are a huge plus.“

“I called the restaurant today on my daughter’s birthday (2/26/24) to ask for a table for 5 people including two children. I was told there’s not enough seating for everyone but they would gladly accommodate us at the event space next door. I agreed. My family arrived at around 6 and the two ladies took our order and Yvonne took a few minutes to prepare the table for us. When she led us into the room we were so delighted and astounded! The place was so beautifully decorated, and she managed it in a very short time! All the food was delicious! She made my daughter feel so special, she danced with the girls and helped cut the cake! I was very lucky and blessed to have been given this wonderful memory! It was such a pleasure to meet Yvonne, she is so sweet and has such a good heart! “My absolute favorite coffee shop!! I am in the hard bean at least twice a week and I have had nothing but great experiences! The coffee is consistently good, and the food items are always fresh. The service is outstanding and the staff is always kind and attentive. I typically bring my laptop and stay for a while to get some work done, and this is a great place to do so. The WiFi is great and the atmosphere is always very calm. I love that when I go I am supporting a local family business that is hardworking and dedicated to what they do. I also got the punch card and my 8th coffee was free! Great touch for frequent flyers in the Merrick area. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for some good coffee in Nassau county!“

“my boyfriend & i have been coming here since their soft opening. and usually visit on his scooter bc of its close distance. as avid boba connoisseurs, we love the consistency with our drinks flavor wise. our only main piece of concern is that the boba is a tad too soft (we prefer chewy) and hot temperature wise which ends up melting our drinks. they’ve always offered to remake it if that was the case but otherwise, we love this location!“

“Cute little local coffee spot right across from the train station. They have a ton of options available when it comes to any kind of flavor you could want with your coffee, I opted for their drip with raspberry, which was absolutely delightful. If you don't do your drip right, there's no way you do anything else well, so this is a good sign for my return trip! They offer several teas and an assortment of baked goods to eat as well, if coffee isn't your thing. Staff was very friendly and service was quick to boot. There are a bunch of tables inside and out if you choose to stay awhile, but it is limited and the place seems to fill up pretty quick. Plenty of parking close by either on the street or in the municipal lots in back of the building.“

“This was my first time, I just so happened to be sitting in my car across the street. I decided to try it. I had tomato bisque and a byo bowl. The soup was the absolute best. I'm serious. I should have bought more. The bowl was so good. I ate every drop of everything. I also got the strawberry basil lemonade. I'd never had this combination before, but it was so good. Not too sweet, not too sour. Just right in the middle. It was refreshing. I will definitely be back again. My bowl had chicken. No fat on the grilled chicken. I hate the fat and gristle. It was perfect. Not dry. And the sauce, it was a perfect addition.“

The server that my bro and I met, Crystal, was super friendly and welcoming.We ordered different smoothies for ourselves, our parents, and my fiancé: Oreo; plain vanilla (not on the menu, so this was a special request); s'mores; mocha frappe. All so delicious...and healthy! What was interesting to learn is that none of the smoothies are made with milk, only water and the protein powder!The consistency of the smoothies was perfect: not very thick, not watery. Crystal told us that they are meant to be meal replacements and should therefore keep one full for 2-3 hours. That was definitely the case with me - got our smoothies early afternoon, and I personally did not get my appetite back until dinner time!I enjoyed my smoothie, but I came here with the intention of getting a protein power bowl (had been craving one from the night before). So it was a bit disappointing to learn the bowls were not available because they had been sold out.Great place for a healthy treat, but my advice would be to come earlier versus before closing time, so you have a wider selection available!“

“The best selection of Italian-style ices. Not your typical supermarket or pizza place Italian ice. High quality product at fairly steep prices. Still, the best place to get ices in the area. There are better places for ices in Queens and Brooklyn, but this is the best place I’ve found on Long Island.“

I had the salmon with stir fry vegetables and basmati rice, but it had a lot of sauce, which wasn’t mentioned on the menu and a bit spicy which is not what I usually go for - I will say it was flavorful though. There’s some indoor and outdoor seating.Kid-friendliness: Went with my kids, it’s family/kid-friendly. No separate menu for them however. But I share my meals with them, so either way it works.“
