“THE BOAT NOODLES HERE !!!! Are to die for. Next door is popular and good but Tea Cup is also amazing & better in my opinion. I’ve tried other things like BBQ / dessert and they were fine … but come here and order the boat noodles!!! So beefy, earthy, hearty. Perfect balance of flavors.“

“Coco is down the block from where I work. It's a little expensive but it's good bubble tea. I've been here a few times with my coworkers and haven't had any problems. Service is quick (thankfully since it's a little hole-in-the-wall place and no room for more than 3 people to form a line).“

“I've never had Gong Cha before, even though there's so many franchises all over you go. I can't believe it, myself. So, I decided to try it here while I had the craving for one. The line wasn't so bad, but once I turned around, there was one. The employees were nice enough. Not overly friendly, but just right. They had a lot of different choices, and the prices were the same as other places like tiger sugar. I liked how you can customize the drinks to less ice and less sugar, which is what I did. If you give your phone number, they track your status that way. Before you know it, you'll get a free drink or a discounted one.“

“Tea Art is a small Boba shop, but the quality of the tea is great. I came in and couldn’t decide what I wanted to drink. Andrew suggested the classic tea with oat milk. The consistency was very controlled and not too sweet. Really good! Boba was chewy. I enjoyed it a lot. If you’re in the area, check them out!“

“I had a huge craving for taro boba and around me there’s only really Thai iced tea. Quick little search and it led me to this cute cozy hole in a wall. I called ahead to make my drink as I was heading there. Ray was more than willing and able to do so. Such a great sport and great energy all around. Great service and he made my taro exactly how I like it: not too sweet. They have mango potions for milk which I loved, it’s not just milk powder like other Thai places do for their teas. Dairy free options, too! I’ll definitely come back to try their food which looked authentic and delicious via their Instagram business page. Cute little gem around the neighborhood.“

“I had the Pata Yum Gai Zabb and a Taro Milk Tea - some of the best Thai food I’ve had here in the city. Reminds me a lot of Thailand. The vibe is very hole-in-the-wall, with a welcoming home-y atmosphere.I asked for very spicy, and the chef brought out a whole assortment of spicy condiments for me! Totaled to 21.50, would come again.“

I was a bit intimated and shy to order more as she seemed annoyed the more the I ordered. The girl bringing my food out was lovely! “I work 12 hour shifts near here and I’m always soooo tired halfway through. I come here for a quick pick me up. The lady behind the counter is the absolute sweetest, drinks aside- she always lightens my mood. The açaí bowls are to die for- not mid. I’ve tried so many spots in Astoria and Vela is consistently yummy. Today. I went in for a milk tea and they ran out of boba. She went an extra mile to charge me for a medium despite me ordering a large! Soooo sweet. ??“

“Wow. I’m impressed. We decided to order from One More Charm on Doordash for the first time after reading the reviews and seeing the photos... and they did not disappoint. Food was delivered hot and fresh, with good ingredients and so much flavor. The chicken Pad Thai had more flavor than several other restaurants in the vicinity, and the Panang Curry had the perfect amount of spice. We will definitely order again, soon ;)“

I called a million times for their mango crepe cake (to die for) and they politely told me it wasn't ready everytime I called. “Visit #2: The wait is still long on the weekends so it seems like the quality of their drinks is still good! This time I went with the mango grapefruit sago and I liked it. Then again what's not to like about a drink that's inspired by one of the best summer desserts, mango pomelo sago. I liked that they provide a bag and cup holders for 2 drinks or more.Visit #1: This place was super crowded on the weekend. The wait was at least 30 minutes but they had a TV screen where you could check if your order was ready or not. They have multiple ways to order which is probably why they were so busy. You can order at the counter, via their app or Wechat. There were a lot of staff working nonstop to push out the orders though.I tried the non-slushy version of the grape boom tea and it was so refreshing. The tea flavor was light but there was also a hint of grape flavor too. I really enjoyed the jelly that was added to the drink. If it wasn't so expensive, I would definitely get this on a weekly or daily basis. Next time, I think I'll try their other bestseller, the mango grapefruit sago.“

“Of all the fried chicken served in this 5 block area this place has the cleanest tasting fried chicken. The two Chinese restaurants across the street are just disgusting when you walk in and their fried chicken is kinda dirty. Not surprising since their fry oil have seen more use than this place.Service is good. But you don’t interact much.The atmosphere is nice. There’s WiFi so you can hang out here with a laptop. If they have coffee that would be nice. Just need something cheap and not franchise.“

“Located in Chinatown, I wanted to explore this place for a while. It's a small shop with limited seating and a chill ambiance. The staff is pretty friendly enough to help you with the order. I went with Mango yakult and mango popping boba. They added a bit more ice to the drink which is always a technique to reduce the actual quantity. The drink though was medium sized, finished up quickly and yakult never felt like yogurt which is good but was definitely refreshing! I then took out the ice and finished off the mango popping boba which was stuck in the bottom of the glass. Overall a good experience, but would definitely try out their milk tea the next time!“

We ordered the Braised Pork Belly Donburi and the Ebi Tama Donburi and absolutely loved both of them. The pork belly was tender and succulent, a wonderful combo with the rice and greens. The Ebi Taka was shrimp tempura along with egg and rice. Both of the portions were large! I had the chocolate boba. a perfect balance to the saltier entree. We'll be back!“

“I got the roasted oolong with the signature foam today and it was excellent. The oolong had excellent flavor and the foam made the drink creamy and paired perfectly with the bold tea flavor. The boba was the perfect texture and sweetness too. This was my ideal boba drink that I’m always hoping for when I get boba. I loved it! The drink was also made in a couple minutes. I had such a great experience!“

“Their noodles are freshly made, live, by a real noodle chef. It may look like a Japanese ramen place from outside, given all these shabby and confusing lanterns, but it is actually a really good Chinese noodle restaurant. My personal fav is pulled round noodles, either pan fried or in soups. The noodles are chewy and cooked perfectly. I would say their takeout is not as good as dine-in because the noodles are cooked a bit more being steamed in the container. So if you want to try, please come in-person. “This is a very cute shop, my hubby and I took a long drive here but it was well worth it. The minute I walked in, I was so happy seeing and smelling their delicious mochi donuts. The ube swirl tasted like I'm drinking an actual sweet potato, and jasmine tea was very floral and sweet.
