“Tea Art is a small Boba shop, but the quality of the tea is great. I came in and couldn’t decide what I wanted to drink. Andrew suggested the classic tea with oat milk. The consistency was very controlled and not too sweet. Really good! Boba was chewy. I enjoyed it a lot. If you’re in the area, check them out!“

“Came in last night around 7:30pm. The girl taking my order seem like she didn’t want to be there and not the friendliest. I was a bit intimated and shy to order more as she seemed annoyed the more the I ordered. The girl bringing my food out was lovely! Made sure I was satisfied with my food, and named every dish as it came out & overall very upbeat. I didn’t grab her name but she & beef noodle made my experience lovely!!“

“I stopped by because the posters on the outside drew me in. It's a small and cutely decorated boba and ice cream shop. There was only 1 person working at the time but I didn't have to wait too long for my food. Since it's small, there are not many places to sit, so most people do to-go orders. I ordered an item from each category: * Grapefruit Green Tea Boba - 9/10 - I liked the grapefruit pulp that was mixed into the boba, because of the different textures. The 50% sugar was the perfect amount of sweetness. * Almond Chocolate Croffle - 7/10 - The croffle tasted a bit stale and it was cold, so I don't think they make it fresh. But, I did like the toppings. * Lychee Rose Ice Cream - 8/10 - I liked the small pieces of lychee throughout the ice cream and the rose flavor was not overbearing. Overall, I would come again to try the boba floats. I think they shine more for their drinks than anything else.“

I was so surprised as to how many options they have in the store. I ordered the raspberry tea with Boba. Thank you for your help and the experience that I deserved . I am absolutely grateful and I will be coming back a lot often“

“I heard about the ASSC collaboration and decided to visit Partea again. I’ve gone a couple of times before and I always get something on my first try! If not, the employees are more than willing to help to guarantee that you walk out with something. I was able to get a couple of the ASSC clothes! Definitely recommend visiting and don’t hesitate to ask for help!“

“Located in Chinatown, I wanted to explore this place for a while. It's a small shop with limited seating and a chill ambiance. The staff is pretty friendly enough to help you with the order. I went with Mango yakult and mango popping boba. They added a bit more ice to the drink which is always a technique to reduce the actual quantity. The drink though was medium sized, finished up quickly and yakult never felt like yogurt which is good but was definitely refreshing! I then took out the ice and finished off the mango popping boba which was stuck in the bottom of the glass. Overall a good experience, but would definitely try out their milk tea the next time!“

“Delicious! Stumbled upon this place when I was searching for a quick bite. I ordered delivery and the food came very quickly. I was pleasantly surprised how big and hefty the bowls were! We got the bulgogi rice bowl and a make your own bowl with fried chicken. Both had generous heaping portions of meat. I would say my appetite is fairly large and I couldn't even finish half of my bowl! The bulgogi was tender and juicy, and the vegetables that came with my bowl were delicious. The make your own bowl was also phenomenal! The cucumber kimchi and pickled turnips were some of my favorites. Definitely adding this place to my regular rotation of meals and I can't wait to have it again!“

“This is THE smoothie place to go - hands down!I’ve been to at least 10 smoothie places in NYC (primarily Manhattan) and never been more satisfied with the drink or service than here. Honestly no other smoothie places can compare. I can order my drink within the moment I step inside (the workers are highly attentive to customers) and wait less than 5 minutes until my smoothie’s been made.Very smooth, no chunks, absolutely addictively delicious. My top choice is always the Lychee Valentine, followed by Avomazing or Smooth Avocado, but you really cannot go wrong with any of their choices.“

“Cute little hole in the wall. Found it on a walk and decided to pop in and try it. I got their classic milk tea, and it was lovely! The bubbles are very soft, and the sweetness was perfect for me though you can increase or decrease. Service was very fast and friendly.“
“Delicious tea - not too sweet even at the regular sugar amount. There’s options to adjust sugar and ice levels. Lots of flavors offered and a generous amount of bubbles. The store has a variety of East Asian snacks as well, ranging from candy and noodles to sauce. The staff member was very friendly also. Highly recommend supporting this local shop instead of the various chains around“

“I got the roasted oolong with the signature foam today and it was excellent. The oolong had excellent flavor and the foam made the drink creamy and paired perfectly with the bold tea flavor. “A lot of places don't live up to the hype. That is not the case with Surreal. From the second we walked in, we were greeted, and asked if it was our first visit. The employee that helped us was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. We were offered samples and suggestions. Our customer experience alone was worth the trip. The Thai milk tea was the best I have ever had. I was offered a sample of the taro ice cream (not something I would have ordered on my own) and WOW. It might have been the best ice cream I have had. Needless to say I ordered one. Check it out, my entire family enjoyed their orders too. Absolutely worth the trip.“

“They serve both hot and cold drinks! It’s tucked inside a run down food court but the lady is very sweet. I was looking for something hot to drink after my hypothermia inducing run and came across this little gem. They have a kiosk if you don’t have cash to order and pay for drinks. Thanks Zhen Pin Cafe, you saved me from a trip to the hospital and probably a very high medical bill too ?“

“When it comes to boba, some people prefer milk-based drinks and some, like me, prefer the fruitier tea-based drinks. HeyTea has quickly surpassed Debutea and become my new favorite place for a fruity afternoon pick-me-up. The space is pretty small, but the team works quickly to prepare your drinks and you can always order ahead and pick up in store. I have tried the mulberry boom tea ($6.99) and their signature cheese grape boom tea ($7.49) so far and they have tasted fantastic. You can really taste the freshness of the ingredients (as they do include fruit pulp at the bottom of the drinks) and the quality of the tea brewed. I believe they were the first to introduce cheese foam to the market, which does add a sweet, slightly savory cream-cheese-like taste to the fruit teas but in my opinion, I think is unnecessary. The boom teas have a light slushie consistency as the tea and fruit is blended together before being served atop a generous scoop of fruit pulp at the bottom. The grape boom tea, in particular, also comes with slipper little jelly bites which add so much textural delight to the drink. Overall, I've had some delicious drinks so far and look forward to trying out the entire menu at HeyTea. I really hope they open another location downtown soon!“

“Only tried the fresh mango slush here and it's just as advertised- fresh! You have the option of adding milk (I didn't because I like it more refreshing than creamy).. also I got 50% sugar and it was sweet enough. Huge cup at a good price. They also have food options here if you want a light snack. The drink came out pretty quickly even though they were busy.“

“This was the winner of my little bubble tea showdown. It was a close call, but their tea led them to victory. My theory is that bubble tea should taste like tea. Even though this tiny hole in the wall is off the beaten path, they are most definitely getting the job done.“

“Very friendly staff and yummy drinks! Came here while waiting for my express bus just outside and had a good experience. The only thing is that there isn't much space to sit if there are already people there, so you might be better off just getting your stuff to go rather than eating in.“

Very small and manageable, you almost walk past, a good friend who lives on 71st Street took me "just there".They knew him there, he was a regular customer and so I was able to enjoy something that went far beyond a normal smoothie... just something really successful and tasty that I would want to order again at any time.Don't ask me what I got there... but it was great and I'm very sure that pretty much everything else you can get there is absolutely worth trying.“

“It was a little tight seating wise but also one of the only places in the area I could find with seating. “My first visit to the rolled ice cream spot was nothing short of delightful, and I'm already counting down the days until my next visit. The experience was a symphony of taste, texture, and creativity, all rolled into one (pun intended). From the moment I watched the skilled artisans craft the ice cream rolls right before my eyes, I knew this place was something special. The meticulous attention to detail and the artistic flair with which they prepared each order was a true spectacle. The result? Ice cream that not only looked like a work of art but tasted like a dream. With a menu offering a wide range of flavors and toppings, there was something to suit every palate. Whether you're a classic vanilla lover or an adventurous spirit seeking exotic flavor combinations, this place has you covered. The fact that the prices were around $10 per person, depending on your choice of ice cream and toppings, made the experience even sweeter. What truly made my visit memorable, though, was the warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff exuded genuine enthusiasm, eager to help customers navigate the menu and create their perfect dessert. It was this friendly and accommodating service that truly elevated the overall experience. In a city filled with dessert options, this rolled ice cream spot has quickly become a standout for me. The combination of delectable flavors, skillful craftsmanship, and wallet-friendly prices ensures that I'll be returning again and again. If you haven't had the pleasure of visiting yet, I wholeheartedly recommend giving it a try – your taste buds will thank you!“

“This is one of my favorite tea shops in the Times Square area. I have tried others nearby but Modern area is great for me. I love the aesthetics inside and how much seating is available. I got it with oat milk which is just .50 extra and it was creamy and delicious“

“It’s a small cat themed cafe with a pastel palette. I got the iced matcha strawberry drink and enjoyed the matcha flavor but didn’t taste much strawberry flavor. In my picture of the 3 strawberry matcha lattes, the strawberry amount is uneven. The matcha thankfully did not taste powdery. I think it’s an overpriced matcha drink where you have to pay an extra dollar for any of the toppings. The aesthetics of the menu and drinks are eye popping and make you want to try everything though. The worker was nice and even gave us a cat sticker. They also offer a 10% NYU student discount, so take advantage of that! You can also use the kiosk to order which gives you all of the possible add ons and options you have. We opted for oatly oak milk which didn’t have a surcharge for once! I enjoyed my matcha drink and would probably try the rose milk tea or bingsoo next.“

“Henry's is a hidden gem among the bustling South Street Seaport area full of chain restaurants and overpriced mediocre dining spots. I highly recommend the classic banh mi! The bread is my favorite part of a banh mi and the rolls here are always fresh, soft on the inside, a little crispy on the outside. As far as the bubble tea goes, you really can't go wrong, but my favorites are the passionfruit green tea and brown sugar milk tea.You can't beat the prices here, especially for the area!“

“It's a winner for flavors! The virtual ordering is confusing here (multiple kiosks where you can only order certain items) & staff weren't particularly friendly, but the flavors are on point. The tangulu tasted the same as the ones you can get in East Asia. They also had hawthorn berry which was very tasty. For context, I usually do not like donuts but these mochi donuts popped off. There's seating outside but not in the restaurant itself. My only complaint is the price for tangulu. Since it's generally only sugar coated fruit, $7.99 is expensive for like 5 pieces.“
