“I enjoyed their burger which tasted fresh. Their fries were nice and crispy. We were able to split a small order of fries between 2 people. The service was great. Seating is limited. I wouldn’t agree that they have the best burger in NYC but it was still good.“

“The best gelato you could only dream of. This place will draw you back regularly with watermelon and mint, limoncello, smores, hazelnut, almond, etc. I can't decide which was my favorite, so I'll have to keep going back. Wish I lived here to enjoy everyday. Great ambience too while enjoying your tasty treats.“

“After having Anita Gelato, I had to try this place.I waited in a line not nearly as long as AG, and got a large with Tiramisu, Green Pistachio From Bronte, and Caramel Pannacotta.I did take note of their cups and cones encrusted with chocolate and nuts, but did not give that a try.I thought the Tiramisu was probably the best flavor of the three, but I think I chose well. I wish they had seating like AG has, rather than just a giant sales floor. As I'm sure most would be wanting to know how it stands up to AG, I do think I prefer the more imaginative and varied flavors from AG than Venchi, but this is a solid spot for Gelato if you don't want to wait in the kind of line that AG brings.I'll have to discover how well they do Chocolate another time.“

“Kid-friendliness: It was very friendly the atmosphere was very soft I loved the music I wish I got a receipt so I can identify the workers name but all of them were so nice we came in when they were closing and some shops don’t serve when they are closing so I’m glad that they did it was very organized and beautiful all of the chocolate looked very good but I only got the hot chocolate and my sisters ordered gelato and chocolate they all said it was very good and liked the workers a lot“

“I've wanted to try gelato for the longest time but had no idea where to begin, especially given the abundance of options in NYC. Thankfully, I came across a fellow Yelp friend's glowing review of Figo and knew this was just the place. We came on a dreary day, and there were no customers when we arrived, but honestly, I was too excited to care. The interior was cute and green and gave major spring forest vibes. I did my research so I knew exactly what I wanted. My sister, on the other hand, contemplated between pistachio and caffè and ended up going with the latter. Their prices have risen slightly. It's now $7.50 (instead of $6) for a regular cup of gelato, with up to 2 flavors. The portions are huge though, so two people can easily share a cup. * Ferrero Rocher I was dead set on ordering this flavor, and it was everything I imagined it to be. Sweet, smooth, rich, and creamy, with blended Ferrero Rocher bits. I found an almost whole Ferrero Rocher piece at the bottom of my cup and loved the added crunch. * Caffè Absolutely divine and exactly how I like my coffee. This flavor perfectly balanced the sweet and creamy elements of gelato with the rich and subtle, bitter notes of dark roast coffee. Highly recommend!“

“Gelato was very good and creamy. The dark chocolate disc on top was too bitter for my liking, would do milk chocolate next time. The chocolate and nuts on inside of bowl/cone is optional, just ask them to not do it and it save calories and money. I enjoyed the strawberry more than the hazelnut flavor. Service was average, kinda like a cattle line without personality. The were offering free chocolate samples but none to us since we had already ordered. Seemed strange to not offer everyone. We did buy a few chocolates and the one we have eaten was wonderful. Store is a bit crowded/tight but no step to enter so would be wheelchair accessible. I did not see anything marked as gluten free but assume most flavors are.“

“I’m absolutely obsessed with their black sesame soft serve ice cream—I find myself craving it constantly. They offer other unique flavors like matcha, green tea, ube, and more and you can get them with toppings (I prefer it without anything). Today, I discovered that they also sell pints to go for around $11. It’s definitely one of my favorite ice cream shop chains in NYC.“

“Ice cream is usually pretty good, but the flavors at Sundaes Best are much more fun than the other ice cream shops I've been to recently. I've tried the Kaya coconut, banana milk, and Thai tea flavors - I'd get any of them again. Quick/friendly service and prices not wild considering where it's located.“

“This is a family owned restaurant in Hell’s Kitchen that takes that to heart. The food is fantastic and service is fast. It just has that bit of personality that makes it feel like a place out of a small town instead of the middle of Manhattan—and that’s a really good thing. My one suggestion would be to maybe add an impossible burger, turkey burger, or a chicken dish to the menu. If you don’t eat beef, there’s not a lot of protein options…but it’s also a burger place so what does one expect.Definitely check this place out :)Vegetarian options: Grilled cheese, veggie burger“

“This spot reminds me of the good ol' days when ice cream was still creamy and the cone took a good 15 minutes to finish! We also got an egg cream which the lady was so excited to make. “I stopped by because the posters on the outside drew me in. It's a small and cutely decorated boba and ice cream shop. There was only 1 person working at the time but I didn't have to wait too long for my food. Since it's small, there are not many places to sit, so most people do to-go orders. I ordered an item from each category: * Grapefruit Green Tea Boba - 9/10 - I liked the grapefruit pulp that was mixed into the boba, because of the different textures. The 50% sugar was the perfect amount of sweetness. * Almond Chocolate Croffle - 7/10 - The croffle tasted a bit stale and it was cold, so I don't think they make it fresh. But, I did like the toppings. * Lychee Rose Ice Cream - 8/10 - I liked the small pieces of lychee throughout the ice cream and the rose flavor was not overbearing. Overall, I would come again to try the boba floats. I think they shine more for their drinks than anything else.“

“What a cute, quaint cafe! I'm a sucker for afternoon teas and MarieBelle hit the spot! When you walk in you'll be in chocolate heaven as the shop has so many chocolate items in cute packaging to purchase - that alone had mouth watering lol. The actual cafe isn't big but they make it work! They have it roped off until you're able to be seated. There was one waiter working the entire cafe (that's how small it is) and his name is Johnny the Troublemaker! Now Johnny was amazing! He was never stressed by handling everything himself (he did have a helper). He was attentive, explained everything thoroughly and was engaging. I hope he is working on the day that I go back- he really enhanced our experience! He gave us a chocolate drink shot to get us started. It was so rich and decadent I wanted to drink an entire vat of it lol. We ordered mimosas and for once I have to say I actually tasted the champagne! If you've read any of my reviews you know that most places I go to don't really give you any alcohol in their drinks so this was quite the surprise. We had the afternoon tea service - I had the chocolate rose tea and it was so good. The tea service started with a small split pea soup in the cutest cup with little spoon. The soup was delicious and definitely left you wanting more. The rest of the service was typical tea service items scones, finger sandwiches, macaroons, etc. To our surprise we left there feeling quite full which hasn't happened at other teas that I've been to. I couldn't walk by through the store without buying myself a treat to go - the box of chocolates I selected was not only delicious but beautifully packaged. I wanted to savor it but just couldn't it was just that good. I can't wait to take my granddaughters there and make it a yearly event - it's so darn cute!“

“RATING: 8.8/10 PRO TIP: Get their pistachio. This place also is associated with the newly opened Travelers, Poets and Friends, the non-meat Italian market and restaurant. PISTACHIO GELATO - this was absolutely delicious, and the gelato lady told me that their pistachio packs a real punch -- I have to agree. This is the most heavyhanded pistachio gelato I've ever had. Super concentrated flavor and really delicious. Smooth, a little dense in texture, and def worth a revisit. NOCCIOLA - their hazelnut was quite delicious, too, and had the same amazing texture as the first. Compared to other gelatos, I would say theirs is denser/stretchy, and oh so satisfying. I also learned that the most authentic gelato would melt if placed in a mountain on display, like you see in little italy. "Real" gelato is found in metal tubs that the scoops are dug out from, just as it is in this place. Def would come back CATEGORY: EXCELLENT (terrible / bad / ok / good / great / EXCELLENT)“

“I went here with my friends on a Friday night around 10, and there was no line, so ordering was very quick, and the worker had prepped most items, so you received your order immediately, and she was very nice. I had the Tequila Sunrise. It was $18 and was very good as far as sorbet goes. There wasn't much liquor to it. You could taste the white wine in the strawberry sorbet a bit, but the mango just tasted like standard mango sorbet. My friends had a scoop of the hazlenut coffee flavor, and it was very good, but not much liquor flavor either. If you're a big liquor person, you might be a bit underwhelmed. Nonetheless, for the amount of sorbet/ice cream you get in the cup, along with the toppings it comes with and the glass, the $18 is fair, in my opinion and I would go back to try other flavors/creations.“

“Overall, Farra was a lovely spot. the service at this place + their sister spot next door, Atera, was excellent. I walked into Atera and 3 different people immediately greeted me. I didn't have a reservation, and while they had one spot left for their tasting menu, their team was super helpful in pointing me next door to their sister spot Farra as a better option given i don't eat red meat and wasn't really hungry enough for their 12 course tasting menu, but I definitely plan to give that a shot down the road. While more casual, the service at Farra was just as excellent. I had the rose, which was crisp and balanced, to accompany the light seafood meal. I started with the salmon tartare which was delicious and the potato chips added a nice crunch - and you get to control the salmon quantities with a 'build your own' nori approach to the dish. I followed it up with the scallop and roe dish which was delicious. While the rice itself was a little bland, the roe and egg yolk added a nice burst of flavor to every bite and the scallops were phenomenal. I finished the meal with a small dessert, the umami truffles, which were well balanced and a light close out to the meal. The entire experience was quick - but not rushed - and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend giving Farra a shot if you're in the neighborhood!“

“I have been craving sesame-flavored things, so I had to go here when I saw that it has sesame ice cream. It was good--not too sweet, a good combination of sweet and savory, and subtly fragrant. Although I stopped tasting it after eating it for a while. It did feel expensive for a scoop of ice cream on a cone ($6.30) but at least the scoop was pretty big. There are a lot of cool flavors so I hope to go back sometime.“

“I’m not usually a big fan of matcha flavored ice cream but the one cream at this place was superb. The place is a little small so chances are you’ll have to wait outside if there’s people ahead of you but they have their menus on display on big TVs so you can think about what you want to order ahead of time if you’re waiting outside. I’ll definitely go back and try other stuff their menu whenever I’m in the neighborhood again. “Yes please!! Stopped here yesterday when I went on a food tour. Wasn't gonna get anything at first but boy am I glad I changed my mind. Had no idea what flavor to get. The girl that helped me was so nice and I tried 3 different flavors before I decided. I'm picky tho so I have to make sure I like what I get when it comes to ice cream!! I ordered a two flavor cup with dark chocolate and milk chocolate chocolate chip. SO FREAKIN GOOD!!!! It was a bit expensive at $4.75 for the size of the cup but the taste made up for it. I left a happy customer and would definitely go back!“

“A lot of places don't live up to the hype. That is not the case with Surreal. From the second we walked in, we were greeted, and asked if it was our first visit. The employee that helped us was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. We were offered samples and suggestions. Our customer experience alone was worth the trip. The Thai milk tea was the best I have ever had. I was offered a sample of the taro ice cream (not something I would have ordered on my own) and WOW. It might have been the best ice cream I have had. “Stopped in to grab a bite before a Broadway show. The service was fantastic, everyone very helpful and patient, no issues there at all. I was surprised that they bring the food out to you, that was a nice touch.Bathrooms were clean overall, at least the one I used was. Although, here's your reminder to lock the door! I had an issue where I put the code in because the sign on the door said the restroom was vacant and promptly got yelled at by the person inside, even though THEY forgot to lock it.Dining space, condiments and water station all very clean and well kept.If you're here during a busy time, you're likely not going to get a seat. We did have to stand and eat, but that's a non issue for us. We did notice a lot of people take up unnecessary space and seats, a lot of bags on chairs, a guy had his baguette sitting next to him in a chair while he was vaping inside, a party of 2 sitting diagonal from each other with their legs on the chair, the list goes on. I didn't bring this to anyone's attention so that's not on the restaurant whatsoever, they're busy and have other things to do. Judging by the level of service, I trust that If I had brought this up it would have been taken care of promptly. The chicken sandwich my husband got was bland and dry, so we weren't impressed by that. It definitely wasn't worth the price we paid. I will say the burgers were fantastic and worth their price though. Everything came out piping hot though.I wouldn't seek out shake shack again, but if I were to happen upon it and needed something to eat I think it's a solid option.“

“Shake Shack is located inside Madison Square Park. It started 20 ago with a "cart" offering New York style hot dogs. Then he moved to take up space in the park and also offered burgers, fries and milkshakes on the menu. The company claims that it uses only all-natural Angus beef and that its meat is completely free of hormones and antibiotics. Between the end of April and May there are lots of flowers and greenery surrounds you. There are several tables, chairs and benches where you can sit. You can see the Flatiron just a few steps away and the Empire State building a little further away. Famous for burgers and I can say they are really good.I also tried the veggie one and really liked it. Crispy chips. We had a very good ginger on tap (Fountain). Honest prices. Fast service.“

“A wonderful indulgence on a balmy day or post Lincoln-Center show. They're cool about samples--which is good because all the flavors look and sound delicious and you'll be hard-pressed to land on just one. Convenient ordering pads greet you immediately upon the double-door entry. Seating is limited to five bar stools and a three-seat cafe table inside, so take your treat to one of the five outdoor tables. Or better yet, the steps or fountain at Lincoln Center, or Central Park 1.5 blocks away. The Alphonse mango was transcendent and my toddler loved the blood orange. “Glace by Noglu is the internet viral hot chocolate in NY. My friend had tagged me in one of their posts shortly before my trip, so I made a point to visit when I was in NY a couple of months ago. They open at 11am, and my cousin and I were there right when they opened, and there was already a long line. We waited about 20 minutes to get through the doors. The hot chocolate is upwards of $10 each. I got the peppermint hot chocolate $12.50 and it was good, it tastes like a regular peppermint hot cocoa to me. I guess what sets it apart from other places is the torched marshmallow fluff. Cute place to grab hot chocolate!“
