“This place has a very small parking lot of its own, but there's street parking available. The inside is spacious and has space for large tables, nice lighting, comfy chairs, and a huge bar. Servers were attentive but not hovering, brought out breadbaskets and water r8ght away. All the dishes we got were very good, and the portions were very generous. Some of the dishes were on what I'd normally consider serving trays. The seafood was cooked just right, the shrimp were large and cooked to a nice bite. The mussels were big and cooked to perfection and not shriveled up. The meat was nicely seasoned and cooked it to medium rare like I asked. They also recommended a bottle of wine which was pretty good, we had 2. Overall, this was a hit and we're definitely coming back.“

“Once you go to orto, you’ll keep coming back. From the bread pairings, the four course prefix.. everything tastes fresh and absolutely amazing. You can taste the care they put into their food. “I can not believe that this restaurant has been here on Main Street in Port Jefferson Village for over 20 years and I never ate there!!! This is my new Favorite place to eat. The food was exceptional and good size portions. The pita bread they put out on the table was so delicious I could have made that my meal. The service was extremely attentive and so personable. “So last night we order the islander combo normally the food is delious I don't know they where busy and rushing but the pizza was terriable small slices asked for half pepperoni on one of the pizzas n it was placed on there n got garlic knots they where burnt n the sauce literally was all oil ! “Picked up Three pies two hero’s the price is great. we ordered three different types deep dish. Thin. Crust and regular pie with meatballs five stars the meat balls really made the pie.“

The margarita pizza and the vodka pie are both great.I was prompted to review with 5 stars because i ordered a ginger ale, and they didnt have any. Not only did they read the order instructions and replace it with a sprite, they also left an apology note on my drink! “Our family had a private 16th birthday for my daughter at Elaine’s. From the moment I called to book the event, we had great customer service. The food was delicious. The salmon was so good, that we were talking about how to make it the same at home. The pasta was fresh and home made. The cannolis they put on the table were delicious as well.The restaurant has a clean, and fresh with fun art and photography on the walls.I highly recommend this restaurant even if it’s just for a drink at the bar!“

There are so many other places in the surrounding area that are well known with a lot more space for indoor dining. I would hands down choose Isabella's for the amount of food you receive and the taste (small space to dine in, but we do take out). My son is a bit of an Italian food addict and we were trying different places to keep it interesting. I just can't believe how good the food is and the price at Isabella's. Why go out of my way to try other places when I have found our favorite? “Recently visited with friends for lunch. Table service was excellent with server explaining the specials along with recommendations on the basic menu items. Dining area was clean and overall ambiance simple but appealing. Ordered the chicken roll which they specifically cooked for me and a vegetable which were cooked to perfection. Overall service was great. Server checked up on us multiple times and we felt right at home, not rushed at all. Restaurant located on the main road but entrance and parking are behind the strip center off Hawkins.“

“6 of us went on Friday evening and our server, the busser, food, drinks and dessert were all very good. The reason I gave the two star rating for atmosphere was because of the cesspool smell emitting from the parking lot as we were ending dinner. It was a smelly bubbling puddle next to our car as we left. That was not how we expected to end a ice meal and had that happened as food was brought out we wouldn’t have been able to eat at all.“

“We went to Mannino’s tonight for the first time. The hostess was welcoming and our server and wait staff were friendly and polite. We enjoyed our drinks and appetizers to start. “Happened upon this restaurant while visiting Port Jefferson. And glad we did. Got here early enough that we could get a table right away. Steve took great care of us without being overbearing. We started off with the stuffed mushrooms, which were so freaking good. For main course my husband got the Chicken & Sausage Scarpiello, and I had the Veal Scallopini - both were delicious. We finished off sharing the Rainbow Cookie Cheesecake. This exceeded my expectations. Everything was so good that my husband wants to go back tomorrow!“
