I've been to Ci Siamo multiple times now. The food is excellent- my favorite dishes are the onion torta and cavatelli allo scoglio. Service is excellent. I do not eat beef, and they were able to modify the Rye Ravilo to be made with a duck broth instead of a beef broth. My only nitpick is that I'm not fond of the "How are your first few bites?" trend, which Ci Siamo partakes in. Ambiance was pleasant. It's kept dimly lit during dinner, but a large amount of light comes in through the windows during lunch. I would consider this dressy-casual; un-ripped jeans and a nice top would be appropriate, but you would not be out of place more dressed up. Onion torta is quite rich, but perfect when split. Scallop Tartare was light and refreshing The Cavatelli was perfectly al dente, with a flavorful sauce and a fair portion of crab. Rye Ravioli had excellent ravioli. However, the duck broth made the meal too rich for my liking, and I did not finish it. Lemon Torta was quite average. The meringue and olive oil elevated it, but I would likely skip dessert in the future (I only tried dessert during my first visit). For drinks- my companion loved the Japanese Breakfast. I had the Moveable Feast, which was quite good. Their cocktail list is gin heavy. I did not try wine, but they seemed to have a large selection.

This restaurant is amazing! I showed up for my reservation and I guess they had seen it was my birthday a few weeks ago. Had a cute card ready for my arrival which I was in shock haha. My waiter, Ryan was a gem. He gave amazing recommendations and cut my appetizers in half since I was by myself. The foccacia, salad, and rigatoni were delicious. The cocktails were also amazing! Will definitely be back and they surprised me with the most delicious gelato. Highly recommend!

This was one of my favorite places we at on our trip to New York! From the tagliatelle pasta, the carrot appetizer and drinks, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Highly recommend!

I love Ci Siamo's food so much, and the service is always impeccable. The stuffed trout is always amazing, and the cheesecake is the best I've ever had. I love how they often update their menu with new things to try, and everything is always fantastic. I go to work lunches here regularly, and they never disappoint!

One of the best meals I've ever had in NYC, start to finish. My husband and I got the following: focaccia, pizzette, braised beans, cavatelli, tagliatelle, lemon tart. All were spectacular. Our favorite was the beans. The beans?! Yes, that is correct. We had been excited about the breads and pastas before going and the beans hadn't even been on our radar. And then the beans BLEW US AWAY. Probably the best bowl of beans we've ever had our entire lives. The service was fantastic. We loved our waiter, the somm who stopped by to suggest a glass with our pastas was the opposite of pretentious (and recommended the least expensive glass), the pacing was perfect, the vibe was casual and upscale at the same time. Not a single miss the entire evening. We can't wait to go back.

I really enjoyed this restaurant. I love the open kitchen plan. I only wish I got to sit closer to the action. The restaurant is very large and perfect for big groups. It also looks like they have a outside seating area, which would be perfect for the summer. The rundown - Onion tarte - I would recommend this. It was nice to sample new flavors with this appetizer. Focaccia bread - Who doesn't love bread? If you like bread, you can't go wrong with this. Although it is a little oily. The tomato conserva that it comes with is also something unique to experience. Stracci - Rabbit with parm and white wine sauce. I liked the fresh ribbon pasta. However, it loses its al dente finish quite quickly, so eat it while it is hot. Cavetelli with Crab - This is a little spicier than I thought it would be. The pasta was cooked perfectly and satisfyingly chewy. Ribeye - The mushrooms hit the nail on the head with umami flavor. Steak was cooked perfectly as expected. Scallop tartare - this could have been a skip for me. If you have eaten scallop sashimi before, this will not be something new. Negroni - divine Espresso gelato - great way to finish a delicious meal I really enjoyed the unique flavors and the innovation here. Our server was very pleasant and nice. I would definitely return!

Delicious meal!! One of my favorite Italian restaurants, pastas were the star of the show -- definitely try cavatelli allo scoglio! Poached orata was good too. Will be back!!

Everything at Ci Siamo was great! From the dining experience to the level of service to the food. The restaurant space itself is very big. Our total dining time was about two hours andy group of 3 did not feel rushed at all. They have a coat check upon arrival. They offer complimentary wine when you ride the elevator up (self-serve). I recommend this spot for a girls dinner, a birthday group dinner or even date night.

Cavernous space on second floor of building in Hudson yards. Food was delicious and service was attentive. We were two but surrounded by large groups of diners. Would return with a group but likely not as a couple unless during off hours.

ci siamo certainly deserves its status as one of nyc's best restaurants. every dish from start to end was phenomenal. we started with the focaccia which was so flavorful it didn't even need the salsa. we had the scallops and escarole which were refreshing starters. we then had the roasted carrots, crab cavatelli pasta, the rigotoni pasta and the ribeye. we had sangiovese with pasta and ribeyes. to end, we had the bomboloni with the caramel gelato. it was one of the most impeccable meals. the staff was attentive and helpful guides navigating the menu. the space is surprisingly large and really chic, modern, vibey although the food is incredibly sophisticated

3.4 to be exact. Restaurant itself was very airy, which I like. Came to celebrate my partner's bday. The only thing they did was a candle on the dessert we ordered. I would expect a little more gesture though. Flavor was mediocre on most dishes. I ended up enjoying the crab cavatelli the most out of all the things ordered. Pasta was Al dente; the sweetness of the crab worked really well with the acidity from the roasted tomato. The onion torta was pretty good on first bite then it became kinda heavy on the 2nd piece. If you like French onion soup, you'd definitely enjoy this more concentrated version. The ribeye was extremely salty that I didn't enjoy at all. The special dessert orange cake tasted like store bought with artificial flavor that I was disappointed.

My sister was in town and the first night we had a lovely dinner at Ci Siamo. We started with the Gnocco Fritto ($16), the Scallop Tartare ($24), and the Caramelized Onion Torta ($26). For the mains we shared the Rapini Agnolotti ($25) and the Braised Lamb ($35). All the starters were amazing, with the standout being the Caramelized Onion Torta - this was basically french onion soup in a pastry. It is pretty rich so we only ate half and took the rest home. The Gnocco Fritto was different - it was a puffed pastry pillow filled with goat gouda inside. The Scallop Tartare was fresh and refreshing with the meyer lemon and a nice touch of spice with the thinly sliced green chilies. I really liked the Agnolotti - it was filled with ricotta and had a nice layer of bread crumbs on top for some texture. The Braised Lamb I think we could have skipped - it was overly salty and definitely needed some sort of carb on the side to soak up all the fat; rice would have been a nice addition to the dish. Overall the service was great and the ambiance was nice with the open kitchen concept as well. Would be nice to dine here again!
