I got fried and steamed dumplings. I usually love dumplings but not from this place mainly because of the dipping sauce - way too vinegary.

The food was very good, although it had mild taste. I recommend adding some spices which are available at the table near the dumplings counter. Still, very nice place!

202404 Quick fix for homesickness near Times Square. 4.5 overall with hits and minor misses.Wonton Soup tastes like home. My dad said it’s not as good as the ones actually back home, but for me it’s heartwarming enough.Beef Noodle is mellow. I don’t usually like onion but the ones in the soup actually tastes delightfully sweet. Slightly oily for me but it’s not too bad for restaurant food. The Glutinous Rice Dumplings make me feel nostalgic. A little less aromatic and balanced as the ones back home (maybe a little more soy sauce and shiitake and pork fat would help), but again, a rare find abroad where the market is filled with Cantonese meat Shiu Mai.Xiaolongbao is alright. The meat filling lacks umami, but the soup is generous/ambitious. The skin is of good thickness though can be firmer.Shrimp Dumplings are a bit fishy maybe because of the ingredients. The dough is freshly kneaded in the kitchen, which is a plus.Service is prompt and friendly. All tables are set around the teppanyaki. We get to watch other people’s show but it’s a little difficult to share food.

A mix between Chinese and Japanese cuisine. We ordered the Hot and Sour soup, Shrimp Fried Rice, Beef Loh Mee, Chicken and Brocolli, as well as the Soup Dumplings. I also saw others having the Hibachi grill and having a good time. The food is tasty and came out really fast. The Soup Dumplings were steaming and delicious. Close to Times Square.

We were craving hibachi while in NYC but really didn’t want to go to the typical chain hibachi place. You’ve been to one, you’ve been to them all. Located slightly off Times Square, I spotted Fuji Hibachi on Open Table and the google reviews were great. So I booked a table. This was a great experience. It is very much a hole in the wall restaurant vibe, and delivers a fantastic hibachi experience and from what I heard, amazing soup dumplings. The guy who was cooking for us was hilarious. He was an absolute riot which I loved. It made it much more authentic as opposed to a scripted experience like you find at the chains. He also provided one of the biggest flames I have seen at a hibachi table (see video). The food was good, but heavy on the garlic. What I appreciated is they welcome any combination of proteins that you want for your meal, as opposed to sticking to what the menu said. Based on the experience, I would definitely go again.

Great experience at this Chinese restaurant in New York. The dishes are very good and plentiful. Impeccable service. Courteous and fast staff. Price normal if you consider that you are in the heart of the big apple ?Kid-friendliness: YesWheelchair accessibility: Yes

Good food, went twice on the same trip and liked it. Would go again if I am in the area.Don't like when restaurants decide to add tips in the bill and decide the amount on their own. Doesn't matter, how common this practice is, it is a bad practice in my opinion.

Rice, eggs, and soy sauce is not fried rice. Where are the sesame seeds? Where are the scallions? Where are the vegetables? The vegetable combo was just vegetables with soy sauce, garlic, and butter. Ultimately I could’ve easily cooked this meal myself.

Food and atmosphere was great! Was a little disappointed they no longer offer sushi as the menu showed when we chose this restaurant. Also, make sure to note the gratuity is included in your bill, l only caught this due to reading a review about it before we went. We would definitely go back again!

Steaming hot dumplings. I had mushroom & spinach, sticky rice. Both were delicious! Served relatively fast. Priced moderate to affordable.
