Friedmans at The Hotel Edison is a must especially if you used to come here back when it was a diner. They’ve preserved a lot of the original but it’s now much more upscale. The best part is the Singing Waitstaff - they were incredible.
Very friendly service, very good price-quality for how expensive Chelsea Market is (we have eaten for 5 people with taxes included $120, we did not order drinks since the tap water is free). We recommend the pastrami reuben sandwich (smoked shredded meat), B.L.A.T (bacon, lettuce, avocado, tomato), served accompanied by French fries with ketchup and mayonnaise
