Ever since you reopened, the food has been exquisite. The earlier years when it was GB&G, the different chefs never really found themselves. Since the reopening and the re-emergence of the original chef, I think, the food is back to its glory as it was 15 years ago. Regardless, service has always remained superlative. I do miss the complimentary exquisite breads, intermezzo and after dinner edibles though.

I feel Gotham has lost a little of its former glory. The restaurant did not have the "chic" element that use to have, the main room felt a little "sterile", it is not the 'hot" place that it used to be. The food was still very good, however in my opinion the price was a little on the high side for what you get.
The food is really special and delicious. Even menu items that are widely available have added attention making them unique. Try the eggs Benedict- so good! We also enjoyed the jazz brunch.

always treated graciously and usually get specified seated requested when reserving. restaurant responded with request to stock preferred gin Botanist. restaurant offer varied but interesting menu and seeks to improve, as demonstrated by the revised fois gras. service is generally attentive, though can lag a bit during busy periods.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Gotham. Celebrating the restaurants' 40th Anniversary with an incredible DJ set by Beverly Bond was the cherry on top. The food was pretty good and the service was great as well. I would recommend this restaurant.

Sunday brunch: Eggs Benedict delicious. Service at the bar impeccable and friendly. Lovely cocktail and wine lists. Comfortable and perfect for brunch, and any other visits as well. My favorite.

Really nice east brunch at Gotham. Our servers we're great. Band was also great. Loved the wine list, some real gems on there if you like older vintage wines. Food was well done, and nicely portioned. I had tuna tartare, steak frites, and the berry pavlova was particularly good.
Such a Classic Experience. Great Bartender Billy was awesome.

We had a wonderful time at Gotham's jazz brunch! The band, Michael Arenella & His Dreamland Orchestra, were a perfect pairing with the always excellent food and service. Looking forward to our next visit!
Very nice restaurant, the staff was excellent and the food was awsome. I compliment the chef and the kitchen staff for the great food. We will absolutely dine at Gotham at some point in the near future. 2 thumbs up.

We enjoyed a fabulous jazz brunch on Easter Sunday! What a treat! So many wonderful choices on the menu! The wine list was well crafted and had some rare and impressive choices. The jazz band was so enjoyable and not at all intrusive on our conversations and the staff was a joy. It was my first time back since Alfred Portale left and the renovation of the space is just spectacular. Airy and fresh, with tables that are roomy by New York restaurant standards and not on top of one another. Can't wait to go back!
