This place is busy, and for the right reasons! We went here in the evening and got a Pollo Asada. The craft and technique with which the chef made our taco, was truly impressive. The chicken was so soft and flavourful. We really enjoyed it. Though we would've enjoyed some hot sauce on it too, but we didn't notice the sauce bar in the back in time. This place gives you a street vendor vibe, in a closed restaurant - which I liked.

It's hard to come by good tacos in NYC. This place wins for that. Service was fast and efficient, not really the kind of place where employees have time to be overly friendly which is just fine. Cute space with no seats so we opted for the patio around the corner with the view of Grand Central. Happy to have this spot in our neighborhood.

Coming from California, I sometimes get hankerings for Mexican food and have searched far and wide within New York to satisfy my cravings. Every new Mexican spot I go to just leaves me feeling more defeated and longing CA Mexican food. Until Los Tacos! I tried the adobada quesadilla and carne asada taco and must say, both were really really good. I liked the adobada more (but also in general like adobada more). I felt like they gave a very fair portion of meat, and both meats were really tender. The flavor of the meat and the sauces were also perfect. I really liked the cheesiness of the quesadilla well! The one caveat though, the tacos cool down really quickly and don't taste nearly half as good cold. Eat them quick!

It's the In & Out for Tacos! I was skeptical about this spot as we had a bunch of New Yorkers tell us that it was the "best" taco they've ever had. Unfortunately, they were right. Los Tacos was clean, fulfilling, and super flavorful! They have a very organized process: You order in one line. Then take your ticket and stand in line to get your food. If you're new like me, it can be confusing. However, there is always someone standing by the food line telling you where to go. I ordered a Carne Asada Quesadilla ($7) on a flour tortilla, with everything on it. It was the perfect amount for me but was not your average quesadilla. It looked like an overstuffed taco. I ate around it with a fork before I could hold it up and eat it. The lime added a nice freshness to the quesadilla and the salsa was perfect! Prices are a little steep for a taco ($5-$6) but it's quality and I will gladly pay for that over a cheaper fatty cut of meat. Staff is also super friendly and very generous with their portions. Cheers!

***Quick Service, Affordable and Filling, Standing service*** I am obsessed with this place and it's probably the closest you'll get to west coast tacos. There is a great selection of options and they're all priced well. I love their quesadillas, but you really can't go wrong with everything on their menu. There's no seating, just standing areas for those who may need accessibility support. I highly recommend checking this place out if you haven't already!

I don't understand the hype. I waited in line for over 30 minutes and I was excited to try these tacos. I got the adobada tacos on a corn tortilla and they were okay. It wasn't anything crazy and I've had better so I was kind of disappointed. The service was great, the people were really nice. But the tacos were mid and I wouldn't get them again. I was glad to have finally tried out this place and I'm glad business is booming for them.

I want to thank the managers Luis P and Rodrigo ABecause of the recipes they shared with me so I could open my taqueria in downtown Manhattan, those sauces are a delight and I will finally be able to make them the same, not to mention the exquisite flavors.

Believe the hype. I got all three and my top three were pork, chicken, and steak. If you had to pick one, pork. The corn tortillas are freshly made onsite. Why would anyone get flour, beats me. The hot sauce was perfect. Can't wait to go back.

I am from San Francisco and almost gave up on finding a good taco joint in Manhattan after trying about 15. This place is a game changer and charges ~5.50 / taco depending on your meat (some are less). Their pork is great.

Excellent tacos and killer quesadillas. There are different sauces to add. If there was beer it would be unbeatable.

Fast casual spot for some solid tacos and quesadillas!Line up to order, grab your receipt, and then hand this over to your server who will make this to order :)They are very generous with the fillings and I’d suggest getting the quesadillas as these are more bang for your buck (+ who wouldn’t love some extra cheese!!)We really enjoyed the steak, pork, and the chicken! The cactus was interesting but we probably won’t re-order this. There are also self-service sauces and radishes!
