Food and service are okay, but this is not a place you go to for the food or service. You go for the ambiance! After like 10 PM, a DJ plays on the weekends, and the bar gets packed. There's some dancing, some nights a lot of dancing. Oh, and it's family-friendly.
I had heard about this restaurant from multiple people and wanted to try it out. Went there with a friend on Tuesday night. We made reservations, but it was not needed. The place was only 1/4 full. We got seated quickly and a woman came around and took our pictures. They looked good and I bought one. The food service was comically slow and the wait time between plates needs to be shortened. Brought my in-laws here for their first taste of Dominican food and we absolutely loved it!! Our waiter Erui gave us great suggestions for food; they were absolutely delicious. The food does take some time, but it is worth it. Finished off our meal with a shot of mamajuana and it was the perfect cherry on top of a great evening.
