After a brief discrepancy about our reservation the manager made a generous accommodation and seated us near the bar. The roasted cauliflower appetizer is a combination of wonderful flavors that are just right. My partner enjoyed the scallops risotto and I found the salmon special to be excellent. The service is friendly and top notch. Orso has been successful for over 20(?) years and is a prime theatre district restaurant if you are fortunate enough to get a reservation.
Orso's is an excellent bistro very convenient to the theatre district. Food is interesting and great, service staff is experienced and superb. I highly recommend it! Took a first date there last night- they arranged a special corner table and we happily ate and drank the night away!

One of our favorite restaurants in the world! I've been dining at Orso for over 40 years and have NEVER been disappointed. The restaurant itself is understated but lovely, letting the food be the star of the show. The complimentary bean spread and bread are divine and everything else is A+. Wines are well curated and affordably priced. Waitstaff is always friendly and you very well might see someone famous there. Definitely GO
