“Generally not a fan of New York thin crust pizza, I thought Rubirosa was fantastic. The flavor of the pizza more than made up for the cracker-like crust. Everything on the menu looked so good. The people next to us ordered the lasagna for two and now I have to try it on my next visit. “Great place.. Amazing dishes and desserts. Amazing staff and host. Will definitely be back. —— If I had one con, it would be the speaker volume. It really needs to be at an appropriate dinner volume in that you can have a discussion with that people at your table and not shout. We asked twice for it to be lowered. But I’m unsure it was ever adjusted. Loud club-music volume while dining is just unnecessary.“

“It is very good but not worth going out of your way to obtain. Worth trying once if possible. We drove from Jersey, paid the toll, and waited 40 minutes for a margherita pie. We ate two slices freshly served, and they had a nice crispy bottom and balance of sauce. It was lacking a bit of salt for me. We ate another microwaved slice at home, and it tasted no different than any other Jersey pizza. Please note it takes at least 40 minutes to prepare from the time of placing a takeout order.“

“All the walk ins were already booked when we showed up right at open (5pm on Sat), but they put us on the waitlist. Luckily, around 8pm we got a text saying to come in at 8:45. A good option if you live nearby or have things to do in the area.The Pizzas we got were cooked to perfection. Probably one of the best pizzas I've had in the city. If you like Neapolitan style, you won't find a better dough anywhere. Our dessert, Almond Cremolata was simply delicious.The ambiance was amazing. You get to see the chefs and the process of pizza making if you get seated close enough. Service was friendly, quick and efficient.“

“I've been guilty of reviewing Joe's before without photos and have learned my lesson, so here we go again.I will say this, Joe's on Broadway is definitely the busiest location (Washington Square and the financial district are popular, don't get me wrong, but they don't get the foot traffic that this one does). Don't let the line discourage you - people generally know what they want and move quickly. I'd recommend looking up what they have before you hop in line so you can make ordering as easy as possible.Awesome staff who are quick and efficient based on the volume they have to deal with - and know that everything is, for the most part, freshly made and they won't run out of anything. Enjoy!“

“I was up and down about buying this pizza because of the cost...HOWEVER, I thought I'd give it a try. It arrived today...Man. REAL PIZZA after 20 years of being GF. It was delicious! I've order online frozen items (cookies, pizza, apps etc) before and this was, by far, the best delivery result. Frozen solid, minimal waste and even the GF taramisu I was nervous about experienced no thawing. It was supposed to be for someone else but oops, so good my taste testing went a bit too far. What taramisu?? :) I ordered 3 GF pizzas and have only tried the sausage and mushroom so far. The crust edge was crispy on the outside and soft in the middle while the pizza itself cooked up nicely. I like mine a bit well done and even doing so, the toppings didn't burn. My ONLY complaint was it needed a bit more sauce for my personally liking and because it was fresh and tasty, I wanted more. Maybe a side to dip my crust in?? What? Yes. Great job Kreste!“

“Lovely lunch place a few blocks from Washington square park. Elevated, clean and precise are how I would describe both the food and atmosphere. I really enjoyed the crudo and the asparagus fries just seem like a beautiful staple of this restaurant. While I didn’t have anything to drink, I did take a peak at the bar and an after dinner cocktail here looks like a lovely night.“

“Beautiful place to eat. “Come for the space, there's a lovely enclosed patio in the back! Stay for the pizza and the drinks, both of which were surprisingly good. Be warned, however, that the menu is a novella. So many options, it's approaching overwhelming. If you like Neapolitan-style pizza, you'll definitely enjoy La Lanterna's. It was the right chewiness, and the toppings and sauce were tasty. I also had one of the many available adult beverages, opting for a hard coffee. It was excellent. The cheese and pate plate was good -- the bread it came with was well seasoned and had a nice crisp. But the presentation definitely leaves something to be desired, it definitely looked like an elementary school science fair project on the plate. Overall, good food, not too pricey, and a nice patio. Solid option!“

“Been here several times idk what took so long for the reverse, but this place is 10/10. Always great customer service and ambiance. Been for lunch when calm and busy dinner time. Food is always on point freshly made and hot. Flavors are robust. Pricing is average, but worth it. Love how much the business has grown. Can't wait to continue going back and bringing new people with me. The spicy calamari as appetizer never fails. For main course i had the penne (don't remember exact name) had mushroom and truffle added chixken as protein. My niece had the lobster spaghetti and she loveddddd it! Overall, recommend and look forward to trying other locations for same great experience.“

Chef Salvatore is passionate about his pizzas and loves to help the people in the class.We had a great experience. The ingredients were great and easy to handle. “After a breathtaking view of New York from Rockefeller Center, hunger spontaneously drove us straight to Ace's.Without looking for long, we spontaneously decided to eat there. The furnishings in the style of the 80s and 90s appealed to us, and the ever-popular ALF was playing on a tube television.David, who served us, was incredibly personable and warm. At the end of our visit he even became my hero.The pizzas you get here are authentic and vary in dough and are prepared in a pan.We ordered the Hot Burrata, Vodka Meatball and the Buffalo Pizza. And we can say they were simply divine. Crispy, fluffy, juicy and tasty. This Detroit-style pizza blew us away, even as Neapolitans. Our favorite was definitely the Hot Burrata.A little tip: Order the small pan pizzas in different varieties, David will certainly give you good advice.Thank you again, David, for your hospitality and for bringing me my forgotten backpack (my hero). The fact that you found us in the crowd was nothing short of a miracle.In conclusion, if you're in New York, treat yourself to this pizza at Ace's. “Food, drinks, and service were incredible! My husband and I stumbled on this place on a date night in NYC, and it was absolutely perfect for a date night! The only thing is the restaurant is tiny tiny so don't think about having a large dinner party, but for a more intimate dinner or lunch, I would highly recommend it! “My daughter decided I had to check this place out. She said I would love it!! She was so right. Located in Manhattan and easy to get to. Such a cool Italian restaurant. It had a great vibe that was so nice for an Italian restaurant in NYC. They have plenty of seating and take reservations. We started with some Italian bread with Olives that they bring out when you are checking the menu. Server had our glasses of Vino in no time. For appetizers we ordered some cheesy garlic bread and a shareable Caesar salad. So good. Menu has so many options for the pasta lover. All made in house. We ordered the Mussels Linguini with marinara my favorite and Lemon Pasta. Both were large portions and very tasty. They also had Steaks available as well as chicken parmigiana. For pizza lovers they have some of the best brick oven pizzas. To keep the prices down they are cash only. Perfect for someone who wants to save some money and leave full:) I will definitely be back. If you are around come check them out. Open until 2am as well. Enjoy!“

“Regarding the review posted by Sole and the response from the owner: To the contrary, I would recommend that the manager remove their reply. It is unprofessional and an embarrassment to the otherwise excellent service provided. Having been to Song’ E Napule, I agree with other reviews. The food is fantastic and the atmosphere is pretty good. However, thinking about the situation more and having read the above review, I will not be back. In a world in which the truth is maligned and that which is sacred openly mocked, the reviewer is absolutely right to express disapproval at what was a blasphemous label. The proprietor really should reconsider carrying a beer that would cause his ancestors to role in their graves could they see it.“

"Bleecker Street Pizza" stands out as the premier pizza destination in New York City, without question. An evening stroll through the West Village culminates perfectly with a visit to this renowned pizzeria. “I gotta say this as a Southerner who was in town to see Long Island’s own Billy Joel at MSG. I made a total bonehead mistake and typed in the wrong amount online for payment (roughly 10x the amount with tip) and these guys were quick to recognize and contact me, assuring me that they had averted the crisis and would have my slices ready for the correct payment when I got there (which was ~ 5 til close). Not only was their service and conscientiousness appreciated, but the slices were just what this bonehead Southerner’ tastebuds were looking for.“

“Today, we stopped in to sample our first slice of NYC pizza. The gentlemen behind the counter quickly made us feel at home and not like the tourist from Kentucky who were aimlessly wandering Little Italy trying different foods. The building may be small, but the food is authentic. We opted for a large slice with fresh mozzarella, basil, and a crisp thin crust. Folks it was delish! So head on over to Nolita Pizza at 68 Kenmare St., New York, and tell them the lady from Kentucky sent you.“

“Continued with my pizza cravings this season and stopped by this place recommended by my friend. Clearly it is known for their guilty-pleasure gluten-free pizza and their unique fried pizzas (which I didn’t get).The place seems to quite spacious with an open kitchen in the back featuring a red brick stone oven for pizza baking. Monday noon is not busy at all so we did walk-ins and got seated right away.Pistachio & SalsicciaIt features mozzarella, pistachio pesto, sausage, pecorino romano, basil. We had never had pistachio pesto before so we were intrigued to try. The basil on top and the extra virgin olive oil’s flavors didn’t fall short in comparison to pesto and sausage. I got hints of pistachio but not much from eating this pizza. The sausages were crumbly and fell kinda everywhere when I cut the pizza. The flavor is new, just not impressive.RicottaGot a lighter pizza to hopefully offset the other heavier one. It is indeed light, but I didn’t get too much from tomato sauce: I didn’t get the acidity or tanginess or sweetness, it is like my eyes were telling me I was eating a pizza rosse but my taste buds said otherwise. The ricotta was nice and creamy even after being torched. But after the pizza got colder, the ricotta didn’t want to be stay with the pizza dough anymore.I didn’t like one particular thing: they delivered both pizzas at the same time to the table and the pistachio & salsiccia pizza was a bit colder, so the cheese started to harden and there were no stretch of the mozzarella.I loved about one thing: the chewiness and the bounecyness of their crust. I wouldn’t say they have the lightest crust (compared to the other Naple style pizza places I have eaten), but their crust is the most mochi-like one. I started to wonder what flour they used to develop that much gluten. Really good crust which I am willing to eat alone or pair with maybe some dip everyday, subjectively speaking.I feel like I probably need to try some other flavors to possibly re-evaluate this place. The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.“
