“I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch at this restaurant. The ambiance was nice and comfortable and the food was very delicious. I had the fried dumpling, calamari, salmon salad and a pina colada which were all very delicious. I also had the chocolate fried ice cream because they were out of the vanilla flavor and that was tasty. I felt that the portion size of the salad and fried ice cream was a bit small but they were both delicious. The service/hospitality was great as well. Our waitress kept checking in with our table and answered all of our questions regarding the menu.“

“Another fantastic dinner at PS Kitchen. Highly recommend the Thai Chili wings, crabby cakes and Brussel Sprouts. Our table also had the Linguini Alfredo, Cesar wrap and the Thai Sweet Chili Sandwich. We didn’t like the pretzel bun but otherwise everything was excellent and thoroughly enjoyed. Staff are friendly and we did not feel rushed. Will definitely be coming again and highly recommend.“

“This was a fantastic experience! From the moment we stepped inside, the staff was courteous, engaging, helpful and knowledgeable. We had a party of 3, and ordered 6 dishes. Each dish came out as it was made and each dish was absolutely delicious. A person in our party had a gluten allergy which was no problem and accommodated with ease. We come to NY every year and this will absolutely be a place we revisit again and again! Vegans, vegetarians and omnivores alike will appreciate the dishes and be amazed with the taste! Highly recommended!“

“Even on limited time, I make it a priority to visit PLANTA whenever we're in the same city. I walked here from the Empire State Building, and it was bustling on a Saturday evening. I happily sat at the bar. FIRECRACKER ROLL This was on their April exclusive menu. Filled with Japanese sweet potato, avocado, unagi, and topped with gochujang mayo & chili salt. DELICIOUS! It deserves to be a staple menu item. TORCHED AND PRESSED One of my go-to menu items. This roll is so melt-in-your-mouth creamy. I drool every time. I even convinced some girls sitting at the bar to order this roll. BANG BANG BROCCOLI My numero uno go-to dish since I visited the SOBE location a few years ago. Will never not order this. Crunchy. Flavorful. Amazing in every way. As they were leaving, a couple asked me about this dish and I let them each have one floret. They were sold! (Not all PLANTAs have the same dishes, but luckily, two of my favs have been at all the ones I've visited: FL, CA, IL, & NY.) TRUFFLE RICE I tend to avoid the main dishes and stick with starters and sushi, but I wanted to try something different. Unfortunately, I should've followed my instincts. It had a nice flavor to it, but it was dry and the rice was overcooked. Disappointing. There was so much potential with the cumulation of ingredients. As a PLANTA Passport holder who doesn't live near a PLANTA, I was excited to be able to use my birthday reward - a free dessert! But they didn't have my fav available- the giant chocolate chip cookie, so I ended up passing on dessert. Service was great. As busy as he was, he kept my water glass filled. The worst part about my visit is that I rushed out to catch my Uber back to Brooklyn and left my leftovers on the counter. I may have shed a tear about it. Tip: there are outlets and hooks at the bar.“

“Ever since Village Crown closed I have missed a truly satisfying kosher restaurant...and now that I am vegan the challenge is greater. I had a birthday celebration for a party of seven...on a rainy night the place was warm and welcoming. We put together a tasting menu and all of us were wowed. A "cheese platter" that a cheese lover would savor. Chewy mushroom calamari with a magical aioli, fried artichoke with the lightest coating, pizza from fig, to sausage to wild mudhrooms with a soft chewy crust and deceivingly realistic cheese; pastas from a delicious eggless porkless spagetti carbonara, "squid ink" ravioli that was a stunningly luscious mystery to me. These were the highlights of a memorable dining experience in a charming place.“

“Lunch at abcV is surprisingly good as we didn't expect the plant based food menu. I just wanted to grab some lunch with my wife. It was like stumbling into a secret society where the members wield spatulas instead of swords and are on a valiant quest to elevate plant-based eating from mere sustenance to an art form. They don't just serve food; they serve enlightenment on a platter, with a side of cosmic wisdom and a sprinkle of culinary wizardry. Imagine if a Zen garden and a high-end spa had a love child, and that love child decided to open a restaurant with high vibration foods, balance and beauty, wellness, wisdom, and love? So much love, I feel the urge to hug my waiter (consensually, of course) but my wife said no. It's all designed to nurture not just our personal ecosystems but the planetary one as well. Eating here, I can't help but feel like I'm saving the world, one bite at a time. And the food--it's like each dish has been kissed by Mother Nature herself, then sent to culinary school. Who knew vegetables could be this indulgent? I half-expected the broccoli to levitate off my plate, such was the level of enlightenment it apparently possessed. My wife and I shared a dish that I'm convinced had achieved nirvana, and for a moment, I saw the universe in a grain of quinoa. abcV is an experience that transcends the mere act of eating. It's a culinary journey that promises not just a meal but a shift in consciousness. I left with a newfound appreciation for the humble vegetable. And perhaps, just perhaps, a yearning to nurture my own personal and planetary ecosystem--with a bit more wisdom, love, and a dash of deliciousness.“

“I have had an amazing experience with them. I ordered food for an iftar event happening at The Towers and they went above and beyond my expectations. They delivered on time, gave so much delicious food and were very helpful in making sure we had everything we needed. The event had no food left because everyone came back for 3rds and 4ths. Thank you so much for your hardwork!!“

“Really beautiful space with lovely food and great service. I was expecting a bit more from the food tbh for the price (not sure what though because I have no real complaint but it wasn't spectacular other than the mixed fritter appetizer which was the best tempura I've ever had). All in all 4.5 stars.“

“My sister and I went to Urban Vegan Kitchen for the first time this week. We both absolutely loved it. The food, the service, the vibe…all great. “Came here for a late dinner double date as we were craving Indian food, and it really hit the spot! They have a wide array of vegetarian and vegan Indian classics. The menu is presented on an iPad which was interesting. I tried the kadai paneer masala (which tasted like a chicken tikka masala with paneer instead of chicken). The flavors were incredible. I also tried some of my partner's Hakka noodles with vegetables (Manchurian), which was filling and had delish. The interior is clean and decor was aesthetically pleasing. Service was kind and they let us stay past the official closing time.“

“How has it taken me this long to stop by S'mac?!?! Their Nosh size is huge and is less than $10. I got the 4 Cheese. The cheeses are high grade and it is baked so the top is nice and crispy. I opted for breadcrumbs (but you can opt not to add them). Great comfort food. The dish is well thought out - the macaroni elbows are even ridged. Can't wait to try the other options.“

“Imo the best vegetarian restaurant in the city. Great for celebrations like birthdays and getting together with a large group of friends - lighting / artwork has a cool vibe and they have a great cocktail selection. Personal favorites from the menu include scallion pancake, mapo tofu, dan dan noodle, and the general tso mushroom. Service can be a little slow during peak hours since it's so popular but the staff are very friendly. Highly recommend!“

“A vegan friend invited me here for the first time, and I’ll continue to come here for lunch! The food is fresh and innovative, and feels like comfort food. Walk up to the counter, most of the options are dished up while you’re placing your order, some they grab from the kitchen. It’s quick and delicious. Staff is friendly. It’s also reasonably priced for such high quality food.“

“I believe I have found my favourite eatery in the whole NYC, and yet in one of the most unexpected neighborhoods! These people deserve a Noble prize in both cooking (at least in the subfield of cheesesteak!) and problem solving as they offer some of the best vegan versions of some of the most favourite animal based foods! Loved my food and deeply appreciate what they do <3Highly recommended“

“Always my go-to place for authentic South-Indian. Well, this time the Sambar was out of the world that I had to post this on Yelp! I went for a brunch on a Sunday and had the mini-tiffin. Glad there wasn't a wait time. The mini tiffin was the best thing that happened to me that day lol! The rava-kesari, the sambar, the mini sambar idly and the dosa, were cooked to perfection and served at the right time. The crowds kept getting busier so the quality of service started going down and we had to wait a little while to grab attention.“

“This location is much smaller than their other one, but just as delicious. They didn't have a full bar, just beer and wine, but that meant they still offered a great selection of sake. We had two non vegans with us and they absolutely loved it. We always just order all the dumplings and a bunch of rolls. With having two extra people I wasn't too full for dessert for once and ordered the Ube Cashew Cheesecake and WOW!!! it was soooo good. I will have to cut down on how many rolls I normally order to keep room for it. We also got a green tea ice cream to try and it was also very excellent.Vegetarian options: Everything is Vegan“

“We have been going to this small restaurant every time we come to NY for many years and truly never been disappointed. We often stay at the Lucerne, and it's walking distance for lunch or dinner.Yes, the hummus is amazing, but so is the falafel, the wine, and all the vegetarian offerings. It's the first place my daughter wanted to come off the plane from Atlanta when she was pregnant. That should tell you something!“

“As soon as I heard about this place I knew I had to try it. The concept is incredibly simple- I'm not entirely clear on how they are using AI and robotics to make everything happen- but you place an order online, you get a notification when it will be ready, and then the notification directs you to a little cubby/locker where you pick your food up. This place has limited hours and is geared towards to go orders (there's a bar to stand and eat at, but no seating, no restroom either) and is also clearly for the office lunch crowd. It's great vegan food though for those who want something to bring back with them or just for a quick bite. I had the crispy chicken burger and it was excellent, definitely some of the best vegan fast food I have had in a long time. I wish the burger was customizable (I don't like pickles for example) but things you don't like are easy enough to remove. I also wish the menu had a description of what was in each meal although most of it is pretty basic and self explanatory. There was someone there who was present for ordering issues, explaining what's in the different options, and just to make sure everything was going as it should. Despite a few things that could be tweaked overall I think this place is a great concept and I hope it lasts and they can open more.“

“What can I say Buddha Bodhi never f**king miss!!! Try everything there's truly nothing that's not incredibly delicious. I've come here with small groups and large groups and it's always a crowd pleaser. Especially recommended all porridges and the szechuan (vegan) beef! They have a fair amount of gluten options, my friend has celiacs (highly sensitive) and when she ate here there were a decent selection for her and she felt fine afterwards. Service staff was also very attentive and compassionate when we asked about their gluten free menu. A blessing to have good vegan Chinese food in NY to appreciate anytime I want!“

“Came here on a rainy day with some friends for a quick casual bite before an event. This place is conveniently located near multiple subway lines. It's located on a smaller street but seems to still be very popular. Seating was all high top seating with one large table and a couple of tables for four people and then another line of stools against the window. There is a bathroom for customers. Food was pretty good, note that this is a vegetarian place. Salad was served in a very large portion and delicious. The falafel was yummy and not too dry. They also have spicy falafel! That was new to me but definitely worth a try if you like having a kick to your food.“

“So this particular location had the nicest people serving up the food. You go up to the counter and the food is all laid out and you just let them know what you want, they have "dinner therhappy " where are you can try three half bowls to sample several dishes. I highly highly suggest the spicy chili sin Carne, pasta bolo is also delicious. Love the new desserts they are serving. Just an all-around great place, if I were to have one negative it's that the open seating has no seatbacks to the chair but you can sit against the wall at some of the seating.“

“Delicious Mediterranean spot with tons of food options for all types of diets! Clean restaurant with friendly service and plenty of seating. The chicken shawarma was juicy, tender, and flavorful. They serve the best falafel I’ve had with a nice crunch on the outside while still being moist with good flavor (not dry like most falafel). The chickpea chiller was surprisingly good. “Entering Mishka transports you into another realm. The densely packed knickknacks, chandeliers, velvet upholstery, and plants instantly notify you that you have not entered a restaurant, as you supposed, but an antique shop; or possibly your grandmother's apartment. The service is phenomenal. The food, abysmal. To be fair I'm not really an eastern European food enjoyer, but some dishes were definitely not supposed to be cold. It's all made up for by the mesmerizing display. An endless stream of gold bars, stacks of cash, money spitting out of printers, diamonds cascading into a pile, and on, and on.Please visit this establishment. You will not be disappointed.“

“If you've been around NYC and vegetarian, you have almost definitely heard of Dirt Candy. It's the epitome of vegetarian fine dining in NYC.I will preface my review by stating that I have not grown up in the fine dining realm; there is probably some level of "appreciation" that I lack. That being said, the food here is great. Presentation, creativity, flavor experience are all on point. However, I couldn't justify the price for the food. I think if you are very curious and want to knock it off your bucket list OR you are someone into fine dining then this is perfect. Otherwise, there are restaurants that I think you get much better bang for your buck for in NYC.“
