“Amazing, uncomplicated food that's tasty and really good value. The challah bread is particularly good, and I love the potato soup. It's also a very welcoming place to eat if you're on your own - just take a seat at the counter!“

“I was so tired so I grabbed the first thing I saw that looked familiar instead of reading the menu or checking out comments. It was beyond burger, which was delicious. After I ordered I saw crab cakes that looked yum, I wish I tried those too. They also had a bunch of desserts that looked good, but I can't eat that much at once. So if I'm ever back in New York I'm definitely coming there again. Service is really good, nice people working there, order ready fast! I definitely recommend this place.“

“We stumbled upon it by chance, wandering around the area and entered attracted by the menu. The place is special, the girls who serve the tables are really thoughtful and kind. Very good fries and also the salmon burger sandwich, good, plentiful and not overly seasoned like everything else in these parts.“

“The food was the best. I have never had anything like this in my life and it's truly amazing. The steak melts in your mouth and it filled my stomach with joy. And the desserts where do I even start everything was masterfully crafted and made with love. You can tell that the chefs really care about every dish that they make and take pride in it too. Also the staff are incredibly kind and helpful. Also the vibe was really cool we are in these barrels which had a nice atmosphere and further played into the overall experience of this steakhouse.“

“Came here for a late dinner double date as we were craving Indian food, and it really hit the spot! They have a wide array of vegetarian and vegan Indian classics. The menu is presented on an iPad which was interesting. I tried the kadai paneer masala (which tasted like a chicken tikka masala with paneer instead of chicken). The flavors were incredible. I also tried some of my partner's Hakka noodles with vegetables (Manchurian), which was filling and had delish. The interior is clean and decor was aesthetically pleasing. Service was kind and they let us stay past the official closing time.“

“First time going to Katz? Avoid Saturday and Sunday as wait times can be more than an hour and finding a table once inside will be very difficult. Go during the weekday for faster service.Do not let the busy environment rush you with your order. The meat cutters are there to help you get exactly what you want and will even provide you with a sample. It’s one of the greatest restaurants in the world. Enjoy!“

“We live in nearby Dobbs Ferry, we have came by a few times for special occasions (birthdays, valentines, etc) and have not been disappointed. I wasn’t sure if Gluten Free, Non-Dairy and Kosher would taste different, for their cakes you hardly notice any difference than one that is not those things. It’s not an inexpensive place as evident by their locations but you get an excellent product from them which makes them worth going to.“

“Chef Mike's worldview, aesthetic, palette, and culinary skills harmonize to achieve a consistently superior gastronomic experience: YUM! Diner's with special food requests & restrictions are graciously accommodated. The front of house staff are well trained, so the service is balanced as friendly while impeccably professional. Whenever I visit NYC, I make a reservation to eat a delicious meal, in a convivial setting (fully renovated January 2024) at Mike's Bistro.“

“We checked out Noi Due Gelato - was worth every penny, every calorie, every gram of fat! The staff were so attentive and charming, and we got to taste test some of the flavors we weren't sure about committing to. I would recommend and even tell dieters "YOLO!" A terrific occasional treat to splurge on!“

“My experience at Mocha Lux was overall quite enjoyable. We started out at the bar, which was a nice way to begin while waiting for our entire party to arrive. Once we were all together, we were promptly seated. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere added to the dining experience. However, one point of criticism would be the frequency of staff check-ins. While it's great to receive attentive service, the staff coming over too often to ask about our experience and if they could take away dishes made us feel a bit rushed at times.Despite this, Mocha Lux still offers a great dining experience with excellent food and a pleasant ambiance.“

“Had dinner at Rothschild TLV this evening and it was incredible. Tal, the owner/chef/amazing person, greeted us as we walked in. Dalmina took over taking care of our table and was beyond incredible. She even catered to our almost two year old son, which was really over the top. The food was breathtaking both by presentation and taste. This is by far the most beautiful and elegant restaurant in Manhattan, let alone the five boroughs. Highly recommend this restaurant to one and all!“

“My fiancee and I came into the city for a date day and came here for lunch. The food was super fresh and good. The lasagna is a must have and so is the mushroom pizza. The arrancini was also really good but I'm not a fan of saffron though. Our waiter was not personable whatsoever but people have off days. We got the watermelon sangria which was good but definitely very sweet. Perfect lunch spot!“

“I think this restaurant is a true gem in New York City. I went with some friends from Who are Kosher. I personally do not keep kosher and always assume that I will not enjoy a kosher restaurant as much. This restaurant went above and beyond my expectations, food, atmosphere and service. Food was amazing and as good as any highly rated, unkosher restaurant out there.I would definitely come back again whether or not I was with a group that needed to eat kosher. I have already recommended it to other orthodox friends and familily members.Parking: I was able to park on the street right nearby for free. Doesn’t mean everyone will be able to do that but there is a good chance.“

“This was hands down one of my best dining experiences in recent memory. My friend and I came here to celebrate our recent birthdays. We had no idea that it was a vegan restaurant, but it didn't matter because the food was beyond amazing; the atmosphere and decor were great (LOVE those little minimalist Italian-designed lamps on the tables); and the service was the best I've experienced in years! Full disclosure: I'm a bit of a carnivore, but their udon shitake special is nothing short of heavenly. My friend had the raw sampler platter and also enjoyed it immensely (we should have taken photos). We enjoyed freshly-made sangria with our meal, courtesy of our server, Enrique. He was a revelation, with such a great sense of humor that we were laughing like old friends, plus he told us there's live music later in the evening. They're definitely getting a return visit!!“

“Sometimes you finish dinner with a friend, but you don't want to go home. You don't want drinks, but you need a place to burn some time. This is the place my friend and I chose when in UES. Food: 3.5/5 The food here is not bad, just okay. The vegetable farro soup, beet salas, and spiced gauc were okay. They had a nice combo if you order 3 items so, we did. The food are prepared promptly and we were content. The vibe is pretty chill. Service: 5/5 Shout out to the servicer here because I appreciate when they are honest. We came close to closing and they made sure to make sure we knew. The kitchen closes before the doors do so, don't be that person. She was so kind to my friend and I, rushing us, as she should because we decided to stop by. Thank you a bunch! All in all, I am not coming here for a culinary experience. But, I do want to munch on some food while talking to a friend. The service here is super great and if I am around why not visit again?“

“Love Effy’s! The lattes are divine - a secret gem and perfect way to start the meal. We got the Middle Eastern breakfast and the labneh and beets were so fresh and delicious. “What can I say Buddha Bodhi never f**king miss!!! Try everything there's truly nothing that's not incredibly delicious. I've come here with small groups and large groups and it's always a crowd pleaser. Especially recommended all porridges and the szechuan (vegan) beef! They have a fair amount of gluten options, my friend has celiacs (highly sensitive) and when she ate here there were a decent selection for her and she felt fine afterwards. Service staff was also very attentive and compassionate when we asked about their gluten free menu. A blessing to have good vegan Chinese food in NY to appreciate anytime I want!“

“Bibimbap..Bibimbap..Bibimbap!!! Say it three times fast!!! It's a tongue twister for sure! My palate decided to be adventurous on my recent lunch in Soho. I started walking down Broome Street and in limbo between Little Italy and Chinatown. Talk about a "fork" in the road. I decided to follow my palate and the fork guided me to Wild Ginger. I had never dined on Asian Vegan before. I was seated and studied the menu: Seitan ? Is it like tofu? Sorta.. mimics the taste of chicken. The menu dazzled me: Eggplant? Pho? Salad? Pineapple fried rice? Then I saw Bibimbap and knew my nephew raves about this dish. I decided to be daring and asked to omit the kimchi. I'll be more daring another day. I took in the atmosphere and loved the curtains and white brick walls and bamboo shade lamps. The restaurant is small but cozy. My iced green tea arrived first and it tasted freshly made, simply delicious. Then my bowl of bibimbap: coconut rice, seitan , black and green seaweed, avocado, mango salsa, spinach and adzuki beans (red mung bean) .I must say beautiful presentation! I picked up my metal chopsticks ( practice, practice!) and mixed well and added peanut dressing. I went for the seitan first which far away, looks like raw tuna. The taste? I really can't describe it but it was very tasty. The mix of veggies, salsa, avocado and coconut rice was very interesting and delicious. There are other delicious dishes to explore: eggplant with string beans, Malaysian curry stew and General Tso's soy. There are lunch specials up until 3 pm, service is sweet and professional. I had a bit of questions about bibimbap and my server was kind and patient in answering. Well next time you face a " fork" in the road and find yourself between two continents, take Fawn's path: Asia for lunch and Italy for dessert.. I ordered a cappuccino to go from Caffe Roma across the street. Who says you can't have the best of both worlds?“

“The food was absolutely amazing. For reference I got a pink lemonade, Buffalo wings which came with carrots, celery, and dip. “This is an iconic and go to spot in the Lower East Side to have a sweet or savory (or both) knish! I always make the walking trip to order a sweet potato or apple strudel knish to start my morning or have as an afternoon snack. I find comfort in getting it warmed up at the ideal temperature so I can easily bite in and enjoy while sitting at a nearby park or walking and snacking. The cashier I usually see is very kind and makes sure the knish is warmed up perfectly (I believe they ask you if you want it warmed up). [Side note, I usually order a coffee or cappuccino from a coffee shop in West 4th to pair beautifully with either my sweet potato or apple strudel knish] I highly recommend coming and spreading the word about this place. It's a historical foodie destination and should be shared one knish at a time.“

“Can't speak for anything else but bubble tea, leaving review here as the restaurant doesn't show up for having bubble tea but the board outside the restaurant listed them as selling bubble tea.Selection was relatively standard for a non-dedicated bubble tea location (powdered tea flavors, Thai tea / taro / etc., less than 10 flavors), they get 4 stars though because the bubbles did not taste too stale despite being after 7p on a weekday. Not 5 stars though for volume of bubbles, as the amount of bubbles was less than expected. However in this particular zone of NYC with limited bubble tea near the W4th train station stop, not bad, dare I say your best nearby option if you need some nearby bubble tea before getting on the train.Did not have to wait long at all for boba take-out so giving service 5 stars.“

“I stopped by Patis Bakery for an early morning meeting today. This establishment is located within the Arthouse Hotel and is a great spot on the Upper West Side for coffee, pastries, and getting some work done. “This location has limited seating but is clearly a crowd favorite. I stopped by because I love pastrami and the reviews said so did Anthony Bordain. The pastrami sandwiches are approx. $24 but to be fair they are massive. I went for the half sandwich and half matze ball soup, which I poured into a bowl since I ordered takeout. Excellent soup, came with one large matzo ball. I particularly enjoyed the half loaf of rye bread which I proceeded to dip in the soup and the mustard packets. Not a fan of pickles but the lady in front of me ordered 6 extra ones so I am sure they're excellent. Overall, the sandwich was tasty and the meat was plentiful. It only took a few minutes waiting. I don't know that I would order their knishes or some of their other items not because they don't look good but because they pricey even for the neighborhood! $9 for a knish is outrageous. But if you're looking for a real NYC experience it's worth the wait for a table.“

“After walking around the museum and constantly smelling the aroma of the café, I decided to come in for a bite. Noticed it was a very small sitting area but also an option to go to the counter and takeout.Servers were very friendly and quick to help. I ended up ordering a matzo ball soup, potato latkes, and a slice of chocolate babka.Food came out in a reasonable timeframe. The broth of the matzo ball soup was delicious and very filling. The soup itself was 18$.I'm giving four stars because when my potato latkes came out, it was just 5 potato chip sized latkes with a spoonful of sour cream and apple sauce. For 23$, I was very disappointed by the portion. Points for tasting exactly how my father used to make them. The chocolate babka was fresh and tasty.Overall an excellent experience and delicious food options!“

“Really solid falafel, if not exploding with flavor, it was still delicious. Almost 5 stars but not quite because of playing it safe with the spices. Perfect ratio of tahini, tomatoes, cucumber, ask for pickles. Actually, you can request any item from their little display and it’s included…feta, marinaded garbanzos, etc. It’s quite good! Pricing is reasonable. Music is good. You just sit at a counter facing the quiet street.“
