This place is positively amazing and I assure you that you will enjoy the offerings whether or not you follow a vegan diet. I am not vegan however I love good, tasty food and Organic Grill is top notch. Today we started with one of the specials which was Maple Brussels Sprouts with fresh cranberries and rosemary. So good! I had the Shawarma platter and my boyfriend had the Philly Cheese steak. The cheese sauce on the sandwich was so delicious that I wonder if they sell it by itself to go. We finished with warm apple and pear galettes topped with vanilla and salted caramel ice cream. If I didn't know the ice cream was vegan, I would have never guessed. Enjoyed a few beers with lunch too. Every bite of every thing we had was fabulous!
We are from out of town and happened to walk past this place while kind-of searching for lunch. We are vegetarians and I saw “organic” and went in to explore. I didn’t expect to see such a nice sit-down place! The owner greeted us and was so friendly. He made us feel welcome with warm conversation. And the menu! There is vegan and there is healthy, scrumptious vegan — this place is the latter! So yummy. I wish we lived in NYC so I could dine here often!!

Phenomenal vegan fare but its so much more than that.Vlad is an excellent host who really focuses on a fostering a real sense of community, encouraging evenings that focus on muscicians, writers, activists or just hanging out and having a good time!
