My family of 5 and I visited RH Rooftop initially in March 2024 and did not have the best experience. We shared our concerns with an amazing manager named Jim Schmiedl. After patently hearing us out. He earnestly shared that if we gave RH Rooftop NYC another try, he promised he and everyone else would make it right. Jim and our server Kelly along with all the staff made it right as rain. Our experience was absolutely AMAZING. The service, food, drinks, everything was a 20/10. We will return with a BIG smile on our faces . Give them a try- you will enjoy the entire experience from start to finish.

Worst experience there. Have been going there for years and it's always been amazing. This time waiter was awful, had to ask 4 times for water which we were paying for since it was Pellegrino. Later never followed up. Then served meals about a minute after being apps. Then waiter dropped our order of fries which they finally brought out only after we had finished our meals. Of course they charged us even though it took 30 minutes after they dropped them. Then gave us a problem when trying to pay bill.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this rooftop bar restaurant and I can confidently say that it exceeded all my expectations. The views from the rooftop are simply breathtaking, offering a panoramic vista of the city that is unmatched. The ambiance is trendy and inviting, with a stylish decor that sets the mood for a memorable evening. The service was exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff who made us feel like valued guests. The only thing I request is to have other variety in drinks like tequila. Thank you for hosting us !!!!

I made reservations for 4 for outdoor dinner seating to celebrate our daughter's 30th birthday. It's a beautiful restaurant completely decked out in Restoration Hardware products. When we arrived on time, the hostess said we did not have a reservation for outdoor and seated us inside beside the kitchen. She and the other 2 or 3 hosts had what I felt was a condescending attitude towards us. We sat by the kitchen for a few minutes but I went back to the hostess, showed them my email confirmation that clearly said “outdoor dining”. She did not look pleased but after I asked her to please look again for an outdoor table, she miraculously found one and seated us. Turns out there were several outdoor tables that were not occupied the entire time we were there. Afterwards I felt a little stupid and embarrassed about basically begging them to honor my reservation, but i did it so as not to ruin my daughter's celebration. I suspect that they marked us no-show on my Open Table reservation so as to damage my good status on that app. Our food was delicious and our server was kind and gracious, so all was not lost. But I don't think I'll ever eat there again because of the uncomfortable feeling I had there.

We always come here for brunch when we have out-of-town guests or if we want to have a more elevated lunch. It's an absolutely gorgeous restaurant... arguably more beautiful inside than outside. The food is delicious and the service is always on-point.

this was our first time here and it was fabulous. We had a great brunch. The Scramble was delicious and so were the burgers. The sides of bacon, broccoli rabe and mushrooms were also delicious. The toast in worth the calories especially with the homemade strawberry jam. Our server was outstanding but unfortunately, I cannot recall his name. It a very popular spot, so book ahead. The view of the meatpacking district was a delight.

The host or waiter provided exceptional service, though unfortunately, I don't recall his name. Despite being seated at a chilly table, he graciously accommodated my request to move to a warmer spot on Valentine's Day. I was genuinely grateful for his kindness and look forward to returning soon. I highly recommend the restaurant; the ambiance and cuisine were superb!

The atmosphere is completely different, but the terrace feels like the ASTI Ed Villat cafe in Hannam-dong. It had a luxurious atmosphere and the staff were friendly.

For me to actually leave a bad review, my experience had to be absolutely horrible. This location has ruined RH for me. I have been to multiple locations and always loved going to the Nashville one especially. This one here was extremely disappointing. Out of all the options in nyc, I chose RH and extremely regretted it 10 mins after arriving. The hostess was so rude and condescending. She stood there chewing her gum loudly and with her mouth open while making dismissive regards. I had reservations for my birthday and she wouldn’t seat us. I waited 20 mins for a table and when I inquired about what’s taking so long when I watched people arrive after me get seated, I was met with rude regards and dismissive comments, then later sat right by the kitchen facing the grills and staff.Someone so unwelcoming should never be the first point of contact for a client ever. Luckily our waiter robin was so nice and made up for her and the managers shortcomings. I will never go back. This has totally ruined my birthday dinner and experience for me. The environment was horrible and very discriminatory.

The lobster salad was an oral adventure! Prosciutto, cheese, and grapes, were a great combination. The burgers were good. The atmosphere alone was worth it, but the service was on point. My wife and I ? will make our way back to this gem of a restaurant.

You almost feel like royalty when you enter the restaurant. The ambience and decor is very festive as well as very intimate. Every table has a chandelier which is really special. We went on a Sunday night and asked to change a reservation to an earlier time and we were accommodated. We asked Joseph the host to change our table and were immediately accommodated with a four top booth, even though we were only two people. Thank you again Joseph! The food was really great. The artichoke chips are a must. I had pasta which is made on the premises and it did not disappoint. My date had the Rh burger, which was phenomenal. and the warmer temps. The outdoor balcony will be open and again the lounge seating and the amazing view. The sunset just can't beat it. The prices are also quite reasonable.

RH Rooftop is a great place for brunch. Our server was fantastic, cheerful, full of energy and was always around to check on us. We sat outside and was a bit chilly but the heat lamps worked well. The only down side was the receptionist was “cold” and didn't even great us to say good morning as it was after all 10am ion a Sunday and we were the only one to be seated at that moment. She had that what I call a “resting b***h” face and not really good for business for reataurant!

This was my 2nd time at this restaurant and I couldn't wait to come back. Unfortunately, it didn't live it up to my memory. Our table was close to the restroom, host stand, and elevator with the server station just behind my chair. We had people over us for the majority of the meal. This area should be used for waiting or lounging... not eating. Our server was impatient and rude at times. There were things on the already limited menu unavailable including decaf coffee. Our server offered coffee & tea but no dessert. When I got my coffee, she brought the check. My friend and I inquired about dessert and she claims she offered dessert previously. Neither my friend nor I ever heard her mention dessert with coffee & tea. Instead of simply saying “apologies, I'll bring you a menu” she argued with us that she did offer and we declined. We did no such thing because once she brought the menu, we ordered the chocolate chip cookies. I was overall very disappointed and underwhelmed at this experience. Hopefully, if we return in the summer, it will be improved.
