I came here for my birthday and had the absolute BEST experience! From the second I walked through the door, I knew it was going to be a special night. Every single person working there was so friendly and really rounded out the experience. Since they knew it was my birthday thanks to Resy, they all signed a happy birthday card, and included a candle on my red bean baked Alaska! Now onto the food: every single dish was a perfectly balanced experience. My one recommendation - don't skip the caviar hand roll. It was so good and I am still thinking about it weeks later! The shrimp toast also had no business being as tasty as it was! The fun thing about this place is that the menu is regularly changing and I cannot wait to see what the menu is next time I visit. Thank you 63 for such a great evening!

I had a wonderful birthday dinner at Sixty Three Clinton! The staff is so friendly, the ambiance is nice, and the food is delicious! I love when restaurants experiment with different flavors and this was no exception. My favorite dish from the tasting menu was the breakfast taco. The bite was absolutely perfect, and I wish I could have had at least two of them. I did get the handroll, which was good, yet very pricey. The sushi rice was actually a bit to warm so the seaweed got soggy really quickly, so it wasn't the best mouthfeel. Our seasonal menu had a pork chop, which was cooked to perfection. We had the potato chawanmushi, which was incredible. Like a bacon baked potato but make it fancy. The mushroom Cesar was also delicious and very unique. The langoustine crouton was a great additio The one let down was the sticky toffee tres leches. I love sticky toffee and tres leches but this one was dry (which is CRAZY because tres leches is supposed to be more moist than any other cake). Overall, a great tasting menu and good experience!

Returned after a year and still probably my favorite restaurant in NYC for a special date night. The servers were all friendly and even though it was likely Resy telling them we'd been there before, they acted like they remembered us which was very welcoming. The dishes were a nice variety of fish, meat, and vegetable items. My favorite was the potato chawanmushi which was described as a loaded baked potato but in custard form. The mushroom Caesar was interesting as the roasted maitake mushroom made a nice base and gave it a meaty taste. There were many 2 tops around us which made it seem like a popular date restaurant, and the lightning and noise level were conducive to a romantic evening. I can definitely see myself returning more often as the menu changes seasonally.

This was a great experience. We went for a birthday celebration with a 3 week out booking - they have two time slots each day, and open reservations on a rolling basis 30 days in advance. It's been very buzzy, so we were pretty excited to try it. Big part is probably as the menu is very strong, with reasonable pricing versus most other Michelin stars in the city. Service comes across as attentive, warm, and unpretentious. It's a balance that's pretty rare, so it's refreshing. I think this was consistent across a range of different servers at 63 that attended us, so it's a big credit to their staff. Chawanmushi was exceptionally done, bringing interesting luxury and fusion approach to the dish. This, the breakfast taco with the fish roe, and the pina colada dessert were the standout items for us. All of the dishes had some new flavor combinations to old familiar flavors that were pretty exciting to try. Choice in decor was relaxed and good for date night. Bit of acoustic treatment on the ceiling seems to have worked well... I enjoyed speaking at more normal volume to my dining partner. Maybe a very unusual callout, but nice switches and fittings in the restroom. Anyways, definitely worth going to check it out if the menu pictures pique your interest.

Went on our fist year anniversary. The space between tables are good not too closed. Service is attentive and welcomed. However, the food was mediocre from my opinion. I can tell there are fusion and presentation is good. But I’m more care about the taste.

Loved Sixty Three Clinton! Heard a lot of great things about this place from friends and finally got the chance to try. Booked about 2 weeks prior and only 1 time slot was available for multiple days, so make sure you book as early as possible! The place was a little difficult to find like many Michelin star restaurants but we managed to find it ok. Food was amazing, service was great! I can really see why this place deserves a Michelin star. We were attended very attentively from the moment we walked in, there was not a single moment when I felt like I couldn't find someone to fill my water or answer my questions. And like all upscale restaurants, they had very thorough explanations for the food. The food was so delicious, and very worth it for the price in terms of fancy restaurants, $112/person. Each course had an amazing mixture of flavors and honestly decent amount as well. My favorites were the scallop, perfectly fresh and great combination with peanuts in their sauce; followed by the lamb dish, it was so tender and really brings out the natural flavor of the lamb. Overall, the restaurant was amazing, also pretty romantic ambiance, would be great for date night, but honestly I would recommend for any occasion!

I actually don't know how they get one star Michelin. Food is ok but the taco breakfast is pretty salty to my taste, the potatoes chawanmushi is way too rich and creamy with egg york, cheese, crunchy fried shallots made me couldn't eat finish the second spoons, we substituted shrimps and grits with Langoustine, my friend said there is no flavor.. I think it's fine, food is just not good. It's ok Wait staff is nice but we unfortunately sit next to the most loudest Millennium couple that took their FaceTime, turned on TikTok and talked very loud like they were fighting.. for 2.5 hrs torture.. we are dead The co-owner Raymond came to every table that has young girls to talk but ignored our table lol.. terrible experience, not worth the price.

Service: 5/5 Food: 4.5/5 Ambiance: casual, but can still work for a romantic date night or special occasion spot The staff is so friendly + accommodating. Don't be put off by a 9pm dinner service, especially if you want a more intimate evening. What I Ordered: Mocktail (orange, cardamom, ginger beer)- perfectly balanced, not too sweet Breakfast Taco- highly recommend you add uni, that was my favorite part. potato was crispy, but the tortilla could've been softer Ajoblanco Scallop- chiltepin irritated my sensitive throat, but I still really liked this dish scallops were fresh + sweet Potato Chawanmushi- so well executed + comforting to me! favorite dish of the night + very unexpected for a steamed egg dish Cheddar Bay Biscuit- butter wasn't that flavorful + it was a little dry for me, but still brought the nostalgia of the famed Red Lobster version Shrimp + Grits- pretty standard. chili crisp was not at all spicy + I wish it came with 2 shrimps Lamb Loin + Belly- first time for me + I loved both! perfectly cooked + paired Poached Pear- it was good, but I felt like it didn't achieve it's peak potential. cream anglaise never disappoints for me Basque Cheesecake- loved the touch of flaky salt + olive oil. still can't decide how I feel about the sherry muscat grapes.

Truly outstanding meal envisioned by mastermind Raymond, accompanied by stellar drinks crafted by Jack, and world class service by Christine. the Shrimp and grits with langoustine was one of the best bites I've had in recent memory. Cannot wait to go back.

Loved this cozy restaurant and its food. Chef Trinh came to our table several times to explain the dishes to us. His pride and ownership of the culinary artwork were shining through. Services were superb. Although the restaurant was full, we received the personal service attention. Every dish was a conversational piece, from presentation to multitude of flavors. This restaurant is the true definition of fusion food. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening

This was everything you wanted in a dinner experience. For starters there is something fun about walking the graffiti lined streets of the LES into an unexpected fine dining experience. The staff from our actual waitress to the Som to the people delivering our food were personal and fun and added to the experience. One of the owners (Raymond) even came around to chat. The food was outstanding; prepared to perfection but also taking risks which I love to see. At $112 the tasting menu is very reasonably priced for Manhattan and what you get. Instead of making the price unattainable they offer add ons if you want them. We got the caviar hand roll which was decadent and delicious but the tasting menu is great on its own as well. I’m already planning my next visit and will be rotating this in as one of my faves.

Fully corresponds to a 1* Michelin restaurant on a European level. Wine prices, of course, beyond good and bad for Europeans. Menu price at €112 per person is fair. Attentive service.

Sixty Three Clinton is a great spot in the Lower East Side. Like The Musket Room it's a fairly affordable (compared to most) Michelin Star restaurant offering a 7 course tasting menu. The space is broken up into two rooms - one with bar seating and counter seating with a view of the kitchen, the other is a proper dining room. The current tasting menu offered; Breakfast Taco - a signature dish of the restaurant, I opted to add uni which was additional. This is an excellent first bite. Diver Scallop - raw scallop cut up and mixed with a cold like soup broth. The scallop was fresh and delicious, the soup which I believe was mix of miso, lemon, and horseradish was rather refreshing and a good accompaniment to the scallop. Potato Chawanmushi - I added black truffle as an additional accompaniment. This was incredible, one of the best dishes I've ever had. It's cheddar, Benton ham, and egg yolk in an egg custard. It was like having the best potato skin ever. It also came with the nights bread service of a Comte biscuit which was also amazing. Shrimp N Grits - one shrimp deep fried like tempura on top of some grits. Nothing bad about it, though it was my least favorite of the meal. Duck A L'Orange - Sixty Three Clinton's take on the dish was excellent. The tender duck mixed with five spices and the grilled cabbage accompaniment were great. Poached Pear - a very solid dessert bite. Basque Cheesecake - I'm not a big cheesecake fan but this was one of the best cheesecakes I've had. This was light, perfect amount of sweetness, and delicious. The service at Sixty Three Clinton was phenomenal. The whole staff was very nice and explained each dish thoroughly without coming off as pretentious. Highly recommend.
