Our Server Hector was great, attentive and friendly. Our first time here and he made it memorable. The building and grounds are beautiful. The food was delicious. This was our treat night out for dinner while in New York and it was worth it.
Tavern On the Green is one of (if not the only) place to buy a drink and relax outside in Central Park. It is very popular as a food and bar destination on weekend afternoons for that reason. They have indoor seating and outdoor seating for reservation, and they have an indoor bar area and an outdoor bar that is first come, first served.
