“What a wonderful place! Great food and great porción the sancocho de gallina is the best I ever ate in a restaurant! But all the food is delicious and well made with the right amount of meat, spices, etc. I am from another state but I will be visiting soon to enjoy this place. The owner is always there and his attitude is very friendly and very polite I highly recommend this restaurant to all Colombian people and all the people that loves ethnic cuisine! Overall I think the restaurant is a 9 out of 10 ! Gracias!“

“I am from the neighborhood(live on 42nd) and been there a bunch of times. Food is great, they have good choices and staff is friendly yet professional. I also pass by there 4-5 times a week and always see that they are running a tight operation and place is always clean and neat. Also you can see the kitchen as you order the food. They are pretty organized and clean. Food tastes great. Never had issues. Glad to have places like this in my hood.“

“The food was tasty, the portions are large, one plate serves 2 people.The place is very clean and beautiful.4 stars because the rest of the experience should not be influenced by the gesticulating waiter and the fact that I ordered something and he brought me something different (he didn't want to bring what I asked for, just what he wanted) he can barely eat.“

“I don't give it five stars because they made us wait a few minutes before making us sit down, there were unoccupied tables and finally a man who was not the waitress seated us, but when it came to quality, quantity, price 100% recommended. I would return without a doubt. Personal recommendation, I have a baby who is learning to eat and I asked for a plate and they brought me one of tableware, which I returned for obvious reasons, so some disposable plates would not be bad for the little ones.“

“Went here for a breakfast/brunch with my mom and we got the Mexican and Colubian breakfasts along with a coffee each. We also got the guacamole and jalapeños sauces.Coffee was very nice, not too strong and very smooth.My mom loved the Mexican breakfast. The beans were very flavorful and the egg scramble paired very well with pickled jalapeños. The tortillas were nice and hot and didn't break apart even when piled high with beans, rice, and eggs. Highly recommend.I also very much recommend the Columbian breakfast which came with an arepa with cheese, steak, and the same egg scramble. The steak was pretty good. While thin and cooked all the way through, it was crusty, well seasoned, and tender. I poured loads of the jalapeño sauce on top which was great. The arepa was also very nice, crispy bottom and nice gooey cheese.The sauces were also pretty good. I highly recommend the jalapeño sauce. A little kick balanced with a good sour and sweetness. The guacamole sauce was also pretty good, if a bit watery.The portions of the meal were perfectly good and filled you up but for $15 a pop, it's most definitely not an every morning meal.The highlight really was the service. Thr food arrived quickly and hot. The lady at the front desk was very nice and offered for us to finish our meals before paying. She seemed very enthusiastic and was happy to give me more jalapeño sauce when asked.The dining area itself was clean and cute. Nice music and vibes. The cushions on the seats were clean and not deflated and the tables were very clean.Overall, very nice place to eat with some damn good food. If you're looking for a great weekend breakfast/lunch, come here.“

“I have been dining at this wonderful family location for over 20 years that in my opinion should be considered a landmark. The service is unmatched, the Colombian food served here for lack of a better word is "Perfect" every single time I come here the food reminds me so much of my childhood with my own Colombian family. I highly recommend this location nestled in the middle of Jackson heights. So if u want good food, great service and affordability then this place is the spot to come to.Kid-friendliness: Highly family friendly.“

“not a fan of leaving negative reviews, but for the love of jesus, why was my fried fried fish in need of flavor? it looked amazing -- sadly, it didn't taste amazing. the green sauce on the table, same thing: no salt! damnit. it is a dream to make it to JH just for the joy of colombian culinary goodness. once again, mario's (fried fish) failed to impress. and i love fish. ?“

“Stopped in here this evening after having not eaten all day! The two guys behind the counter were super sweet (and bilingual). This is a small spot, but room for about eight to sit and enjoy their Colombian take on burgers and hot dogs (amongst other goodies). I forgot to take a pic, but I had the Classic burger combo - comes with lettuce, tomato, onions and their "house sauce" with fries and a soda. It was deliciosa and exactly what I needed after a day of 14K steps and nothing other than water and a yogurt in my belly! If you're in the Jackson Heights area on Northern Blvd around 81st, give them a try!“

“Danna the manager is a lovely, very knowledgeable on the menu. She made great recommendations everything tasted amazing from the Money Tray to the Roasted Salmon. Don’t sleep on the drinks either get the Burning Mojito, the Passion Fruit & Blueberry Margaritas as well! Also the scorching water shots with strawberry water! Ask for everything! Can’t wait to go back!“
