“Coming off a 13 hour flight from Hawai'i, this place was PERFECT and felt almost like home. Homemade food, welcoming service and reasonable prices! Actually very low prices. I noticed everyone knew the patrons names, greeting them by first name as they walked in. This place is a golden gem. Everyone is welcome here! Mahalo !“

“I wanted a quiet place to wait for a few hours until the airport opened and this was the perfect spot. The food was tasty, the service was attentive without making me feel pressured, and it was quiet enough to read without feeling like a ghost town.“

“Argentine-run restaurant almost hidden on 37th Av. in Long Island City. We got there with google maps. Very warm and friendly welcome in a typical American spacious environment. The proposal is very rich as well as tasty and plentiful for a light or more substantial breakfast suitable for a day on tour in New York. Lower than average prices. Advised.“

“Small homey diner with good food and good coffee. They have a wide variety of menu items including health conscious options and a natural smoothie bar. The customer service was excellent. The staff was attentive, warm, and kind. The inside is small but cozy. A great spot for a coffee date, friend date, or solo date.“

“The fact that I haven’t reviewed this diner when I dine here everyday when I’m on Queens on business is crazy! I’ve eaten and brought guests to eat here or take out at least 10 time is the last year and I HAVE NEVER BEEN DISAPPOINTED! Everything I have eaten, from the beef and barley soup to the NY Strip has been delicious! This diner in Jamaica will always be my go-to for great food! And the desserts! ❤️“

“Ever since I was little, I would go to this restaurant so many times. I have so many fond memories. Even eating it today, it brings back memories of when my mom would take me and my siblings to eat there for dinner. At the time, they would close much later than they do now. Thankfully, I'm already walking home by 2 pm, and since I live close by, the delivery was nice and fast. The food is always delicious, generously well priced, and the customer service is always really nice. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger that came with fries, along with an extra side of onion rings. That came up to $20 on the dot, and with the portions they serve, I was more than happy with that price. I have, and I will continue to go to this amazing restaurant. I highly recommend it if you're in the area.“

“Such a friendly greeting when we arrived! Never having been there before we were quickly met and told to choose a table. Our server was friendly and cheerful; quick to bring us steaming hot coffee! As busy as the restaurant was, we did not feel neglected. Just the opposite. We felt important. The food was classic diner food and comforting. We will be back :)“

“The food is alway delicious but unfortunately with everything else, it's way too expensive... I ordered a Leo omelette with avocados and a bagel, nothing to drink and was close to $30. that will have to be my last time. I'll miss it but it's not worth that price.“

“We have been going here for years. Great breakfast platters. Huge portions. Prices are in the $$ range. Great diner food but with a creative twist. We order different things but our favorites include corned beef hash, French toast with sausage, turkey blue, and the burgers! What I do not agree with is their practice of adding $1-$2 on every dish for home delivery. Prices should be uniform regardless of whether you eat in or dine out. So as an example, an $8.95 platter will be $9.95 if you order for delivery. Please be aware of it. It's small but it adds up and we certainly don't live in 1991 anymore, where everything is affordable Worth a stop though!!“

“I have loved this place since I first came here as a teenager. Now I come with my own family and the cozy atmosphere has never changed. The waiters are kind and always ready to bring another fresh cup of coffee. I love that this establishment has a mix of both young and older patrons. Jahns is a special gem in our neighborhood and I hope it stays that way.“
“I am from florida and visited my friend here in Ridgewood. This diner is so cute, I went twice on my visit. Isabella was so sweet to us, recognized and knew my friend who I was visiting, and the food was plenty for a good price. I got french toast with handmade cinnamon apples on my first visit that was mouth watering and then pancakes on my second that were even better.“

“I've been coming to this location for years now, and they make you feel right at home. It's basically a family environment with great food and drinks. Now, of course, keeping in mind, if you're looking for a fun night out, make sure you drop by. They have great drinks specials, great music, and always a fun and happy environment.“

“Quick and honest review. Neptune diner used to be Jackson Hole. Dined in and had a nice corner booth. Wasn't packed but the place was busy yet the Host and staff were quick to greet, seat and serve with a smile. Had breakfast, Lumberjack with French Toast, large portions, tasted fresh and good and prices were reasonable. Oh yeah, them coffee refills on point. Would most definitely be back.“

“Good place to start your day, is what I would have said 2 to 3 years ago, in the times I've went I favored fettucini or pancakes. Pancakes are cheap, price is fine. Fettucini is great, however , one day it's served to me in a plate instead of the bowl they'd use. They cut corners to save money, which makes the food not worth it. The bowl would have leftovers before, now I'm not full. I have then switched to burgers because there is some sort of value there, despite the burgers being pretty expensive too. I'd recommend you eat alone to save.“

“Their menu is VERY big and a bit overwhelming, especially because of the font! Very busy morning and we were attended in less than 10 mins for a table for three. Our waitress was friendly but forgot to get some of our drinks, but I understand it happens. I ordered the Romanian steak and eggs, it did not disappoint. Steak was medium cooked as I requested. I do wish my hash brown was not as crispy, felt like I was eating potato chips. Overall would visit again.“

“As someone from the southern US, the All Star Special from Waffle House is something I have been searching for a version of in NYC for years. They have a combo at New York Diner that’s 2 eggs, meat, potatoes, toast, a waffle, and coffee/orange juice all for unbelievably cheap. I have finally found the NYC All Star Special. I think our bill for two full meals was $33 including tax. We got served quickly, and the server always kept our coffee topped off—all this happening while the perfect soundtrack of oldies was playing. The perfect diner experience, no notes.“

“We got a recommendation from a stranger that the absolute best mozzarella sticks he’s ever had is at Michael's Restaurant on Broadway. Yes, the mozzarella sticks specifically because the marinara sauce is very fresh and full of herbs, while the mozzarella sticks themselves are perfectly made and taste amazing. Not that I was out looking for the best mozzarella sticks, but he got me curious and I had to try it out for myself. These mozzarella sticks are thinner than your typical ones, so it feels and tastes crunchier. I think the mozzarella sticks are really good but the best part about this appetizer is the sauce. You could taste all the ingredients that it’s made of, the freshness of the herbs. I'm a tomato girl, so that’s why I’m a fan of the sauce. My husband said you could tell it's elevated mozzarella sticks based on the look itself. Quality gourmet mozzarella sticks and the marinara sauce just goes so well with it. We didn't know we’d be trying someone’s mozzarella sticks recommendation tonight haha thank you for the rec, Nick! We need to meet more kind strangers by the local halal cart.“

“Bill's Diner is a storefront in a dingy, littered shopping plaza in the Linden section of Queens. Despite its appearance the shopping plaza is busy and feels safe. Inside, the diner is very bright and well lit with big windows and mirrors adding to the bright look. Very clean inside. My turkey dinner was good and service was good. The menu has everything, like you expect in a diner. Better than expected. 4 out of 5 stars.“

“Great place for a weekend breakfast. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is a lot of the booth seating are kind of tight. But, the service, food and choices are great. Our new favorite when heading to the mall, as it's walking distance. Give them a try.“

“A classic New York diner with excellent selection of sandwiches, (great) burgers, breakfast items, donuts and Greek food! I really enjoyed my gyro platter! The eggs Benedict we're on par with almost any fancy Manhattan brunch spot and the service was efficient, professional and as friendly as you would want in a neighborhood diner!“

“I love this place. Food is great. Service is always amazing and super friendly. However it's very pricey in comparison to other diners in the area. About 30% more. Although expensive I still leave a great tip because of the service and yummy food.“

“Been coming here a while and the place is rather clean, prices have gone up overtime but it's good food so sometimes it's worth a stop in. Depending on what time you go it can be a bit crowded so food could take a bit longer to come. Overall definitely coming back.“

“I hadn't been back in a few years, but I stopped in twice recently. the footprint has been reduced, but the menu still features all the items that make NY diners great.there is a new young lady waiting tables on the weekday morning shift. She is a delight.“

“Service was A+. The menu had plentiful breakfast, lunch, and dinner selections. We had the Chicken Caprese sandwich & the Baja Burger. The only downside was the onion rings were too greasy. Overall, I would definitely eat here again! ?“

“Been going to Georgia for years, pictured is the chef's salad. There doesn't appear to be a budget lunch special anymore, though all the items are still in the main menu. There is a daily special from noon till 10PM, though this contains a selection of dinner entrees, which comes with a soup or salad. The pictured menu was for Wednesday, when I visited. A coffee is $3.25“

“I've always loved this diner. It's been our go-to for breakfast or brunch. I LOVE their milkshakes. Very large portions, and a very welcoming atmosphere. I've eaten a lot of pancakes, it's kinda my thing... theirs are delicious. Also, excellent delivery service. My shake came wrapped in selophane, so not a drip dropped out. And it was still thick.Parking: The parking lot is large, however it serves about 6 or 7 stores. I have never, ever seen the lot completely full though.Kid-friendliness: It's a diner. What's not friendly about that? I am pretty sure I've seen highchairs for babies.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair assecible entrelance and exit. It's a ramp.“

“Always a great experience. We’ve celebrated many happy occasions and even enjoyed Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners there. One year, they catered a turkey and trimmings for my Thanksgiving dinner. This was the first restaurant we went to during the pandemic when restaurants opened back up and we felt safe. We had our outdoor covid wedding lunch there too. They have always been accommodating and the food is always great. We have also enjoyed ringing in the New Year quietly with them. Thanks for the complimentary champagne.“

“During Easter Sunday the place was packed but I was lucky to get 2 seats by the booth. Waited for at least 10-15 mins to get service but offered drinks while waiting for food. The menu has so many choices but you can choose whatever you feel to eat. Mine was decent but I couldn't finish it all due to the big portion ( which is good for everyone else) $$ is great! Friendly waiter, good service.Parking: Free parking in their spot and street during the weekend but there's meterKid-friendliness: Close to schools and churches and they have kids menu“

“We came to eat at this restaurant 4 times during our week-long stay. To begin with, the team is welcoming, available and very helpful. The menu is diverse (including salads, breakfasts, burgers, desserts, etc.). And everything we ate was really very, very good, the quantities very generous and the prices more than reasonable for New York (30 dollars for two people). For us it is the best restaurant in terms of quality/price where we have eaten in New York. The best: it is open 24 hours a day and is located at the bottom of “Court Square” station (line 7)“
