“It was a cold Saturday and I was yearning for a carb filled meal topped off with drinks. This was my second time coming to Queens Bully, the first time was literally 5 years ago and I don't recall my experience here much. I drove on over from Brooklyn and sat at the bar. Inside is a very rustic setting with a open space concept. The bartender was extremely professional, attentive and very nice. He overall knew what he was doing when I asked for a cosmopolitan and it was by far one of the best I've had in quite some time. I then ordered a painkiller which he recommended and boy was it good. I had to drive so it was a 2 drink minimum for me but I surely felt tipsy. I ordered the shrimp Mac it was so cheesy, creamy and packed with flavor. The shrimps were grilled just right and had a jerk taste to it, it did not let me down one bit. The atmosphere within Queens Bully is pretty uplifting with modern music, the staff is very friendly, the food is delicious and so are the drinks. I'll be back for sure“

“Loved visiting this place with a friend for brunch! The food was great for the price and it has such a cozy vibe. The drinks are a good price as well during brunch and I would love to come back again alone or with friends. It’s small and the seating is a bit tight but it’s a good place to hang out. Definitely give it a try if you are in the area! The brunch burger was delicious and cooked how I like it but the main star for me were the truffle fries.“

“Amazing! Came here for brunch with a party of 7 and it was an amazing experience. The waiter in the beginning was extremely attentive to our needs but as the restaurant got packed, service suffered a bit. The food and drinks were decent for what it was. Being that we went for bottomless brunch, it would have been nice to get pitchers of our drinks that most folks were drinking vs. having to order continuously. Ambience was very nice! Gives bar vibes in the inside with a nice outdoor area!“

“Side Hustle is a good spot to visit if you want to sit and chat. The food menu is pretty small so don't expect a lot of variety. Drink menu though, a lot to choose from. The old fashioned I ordered was included in the happy hour with the "house" bourbon. Most places give you watered down drinks that are included in happy hour but this one did not disappoint. The Mac n cheese was not the best as it was extra salty. Overall I would go back for drinks.“

“From the outside looking in, it appears as a "if you're not known don't come in" type of establishment. It's not! Don't let that fool you. The interior setup is rustic for lack of a better word. Definitely gives the place its vibe. Noise level is that of a constant chatter with some music in the background. I believe Gill hosted us and he was very helpful. We had two spicy margaritas and I enjoyed mine. My daughter's wasn't as hot as she had liked it or thought it would and Gill had no problem adjusting it for her. We ordered the guac and I'm not a fan of it. However, this one tasted good. I had the plantains and meat and mushroom ensemble. It's an appetizer and it was great. Blended well with each other. My daughter had the steak tacos and she loved it. Overall the price is what you make it. I enjoyed myself, my daughter got a new place to call home and I'll be back to visit Alcove.“

“I was in town for a conference and wanted to find a cool, local place to grab a bite and a beer (or two). I prefer to stay away from chain restaurants and bars and this place looked fine. I walked in on an early Weds evening. There were a few people sitting at the bar, so I took a spot near the end. The bartenders were attentive and the bar selection was pretty extensive. I opted for a local brew and was not disappointed. I also need some food, but nothing too heavy, so I ordered the quinoa salad. The menu here looks pretty creative and is a few levels up from standard "bar food." The salad was really tasty and the ambiance was perfect. If I lived in Astoria, this would be my regular stop. All around, this was the perfect spot to sit and relax, have a meal and a drink and not worry too much about whatever was next.“

“If you're craving for Korean fried chicken, this is your spot! Mad For Chicken is a popular Korean snack food chain. We dined here on Friday late afternoon, and it wasn't busy at all. They have lunch special for $14.95 that came with a drink.I got the Crispy Chicken Bowl with signature crispy chicken, Korean glass noodles, steamed vegetables, romaine, corn, pico, gucamole, hickory bbq sauce, crema and choice of white rice or quinoa. It was like Korean style Chipotle/Bibimbap bowl served in a claypot! It is delicious and has everything that you can possibly want in one bowl and every bite.Of course, we had to get the Korean fried chicken and Kimchi Fries to share. The chicken was crisp on the outside but so juicy on the inside. The spicy mayo on the kimchi fries elevated the dish with a kick. It's spicy, salty, crispy, and addicting! The place has a nice casual vibe with a full bar. This is a great spot to grab a quick bite to eat with a bunch of friends. For the first time, Yelp check-in, you get a free soju shot. I got the lychee soju - so good!“

“Can't say enough great things about Arcadia! The staff is amazing, the drinks are perfect, and the food is phenomenal! We came in on a Thursday evening and participated in the trivia night competition, which was a great time as well! I had spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer, which was delicious with great flavor and chunks of artichoke, and it came with both fried and unfried pita chips - a nice variety. I was recommended the chicken parm sandwich as well, and the recommendation could not have been more spot on. Hands down the best chicken parm sandwich I've ever eaten - flavor was on point, the garlic bread added such a great layer of tastiness, and the fries were cooked to perfection. An incredible spot in Astoria that everyone should check out!“

“By far my favorite place in Sunnyside to eat. The atmosphere is great. The food is great. The drinks are perfect. The real reason we keep going back though…Gabby and Linda. Two of the best servers we have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. But it doesn’t even stop with them. We’ve had such amazing and pleasant experiences with all of the staff at Ida’s. The back patio is just THE place to enjoy their brunch. If you come through Sunnyside and don’t stop at Ida’s, you’re truly missing out. Especially their brunch.Vegetarian options: Buffalo Cauliflower, Grilled Broccolini and Crispy Brussel Sprouts are perfect.
