“Got the family meal deal (takeout) from Carmelita's and was really impressed with the amount of food you get for the price! I also like that you can customize the deal and pick which chicken, pasta and side dish you want. The inside of the place is new and modern. It is also immaculately clean. The staff is so friendly as well! Will definitely be back! They had a lot of options that looked really good in the display cases as well. Another time On Christmas Eve I ordered fried calamari for take out and they were so so nice & able to accommodate a last minute order. The calamari was great too with a spicy marinara! For the appetizer we chose the fried calamari. Light and crispy, the portion is huge. For mains I had the crispy duck breast and my fiancé had the shrimp. My duck was cooked to perfection and the blackberry gastrique was so incredible it made the dish. My fiancé loved his shrimp. For dessert we shared and devoured the baked Alaska. The side table flambé was so fun and made the night super special. Also can’t forget the complementary champagne they gave us for my birthday. I could just sit and eat the garlic knots. ? Colosseo only serves pizza and a few other things. It's not a place to sit and have pasta. The menu is small, but if you just want delicious pizza, you won't be disappointed.“

Had the Kung Pao Cauliflower which was very good and the crunchy chicken spring rolls which were also good. The rileys Ruben was great but the Cali Chicken Club needs work. Lite on the chicken heavey on the spinach and sandwich just falls apart. Nice bar crowd but sometimes the volume gets loud. Overall nice neighborhood place with good food.“

The food was delicious & we both ate 3 times each out of our food because that's how much food we were given. And what REALLY impressed me was how i only spent $34.50 (chicken $21 + pasta $13.50) and received all that food. I'm used to going to my local pizzeria/restaurant & paying almost $40 for the same type dishes WITHOUT salad and/or soup. Granted, you get a piece of plain ole Italian bread but here you get those awesome buttery garlic bread sticks with your meal. Save the trip and travel to Carlstadt in NJ. no fuss, no muss, like it's fresh out of Grandma's kitchen. What you'd expect of her Sunday sauce topped the Sicilian style "Grandma" pizza, complete with fresh mozzarella, torn fresh basil leaves and a perfect crisp & tasty crust. We couldn't stop without trying owner Johnny's award winning "best meatball" which did not disappoint. Wonderfully accompanied by a touch of fresh ricotta, we had to take a couple to go home for mom. “We have had a couple of our regular haunts for sushi, and had a menu from the mail from Mizu, so we ordered to-go. The selection was better than many of the surrounding sushi joints in nearby towns, and it the rolls were better overall. Prices were a bit less, but it also helps that they give a 10% discount for online ordering. And, online they also gave a free appetizer if you were over $50. The garlic roll was interesting, and unique, and the menu has a decent number of non-tempura (fried) cooked rolls which is a nice change also. Inside the restaurant there was only a couple of tables, so they probably do most business to-go.“
