“So I'll start by saying that I went here probably 10yrs ago and it wasn't great.. Recently a friend and I decided to give it another shot, and I'm glad we did!! The service was excellent, attentive and friendly. They also let me sample the chicken paprikas sauce, which is really good!! However, we decided we wanted burgers and onion rings for lunch. My friend had the Sammy Say burger that was comparable to an OH BOY burger (if you're from around here you probably know what that is) and she said it was really good. I had the mushroom swiss burger and I have to say, it was one of THE BEST MUSHROOM SWISS BURGERS I'VE EVER HAD!! The onion rings were also fantastic!! The atmosphere was relaxing and laid back, the other patrons were all friendly and personable as well.. “Edith was MAGICAL. She had many tables but it literally felt we were the only ones. I didn't have to ask for a THING. She kept up on drinks before I could even ask for a refill. She was just so kind and really patient!! She is a 10 star server forsure!! The food was great and the quickness but freshness of everything was great!!!“

“Was in town visiting before a baseball game. Arrived early so needed somewhere to go. Glad I picked here. I learned from the bartender that Ziggy's has been there since the 80s. It seems to have a great following. The location itself was unique in that it is in the "downtown" area of Amherst. It has tons of tables (maybe too close to each other), and an upstairs for overflow when busy. They also have a party room area upstairs that can be booked for events. A wall of TVs greets you upon arrival. Can't imagine how fun it would be for football season. Drinks were reasonably priced, as well as the food. Nothing seemed out of place price wise. Very comparable to other similar type locations. I didn't eat, but I asked a couple of people what they thought of the food. A couple mentioned that this is their place to go to since everything is great. I saw a couple of pizzas walk out of the kitchen and they looked great. There was something on the menu for just about anyone. Try it out!“

“Great place. My friends brought me here for my birthday. The place is clean, everyone was friendly and service was excellent. Jakob was our waiter. He greated us immediately, gave us time to go over the menu and our food as served quickly. I ordered the burger with pulled pork & bacon, one of my friends ordered the fish dinner and the other had the bison burger. You will never go home hungry. Great service, great food at a good price. You can't go wrong. I highly recommend them and will definitely go back.“
