“I work very close to Edacious & when I need a brief respite from the hustles& bustle of my job this is my go to. I can't say enough positive things about the food. My favorite is the Chicken Paillard but you really can't go wrong. Service is great. Bartender fantastic. Music always good. Surprising little gem in Avon Lake., The only bummer is the view of the old power plant, hopefully that will be disappearing soon. For now look the other direction and enjoy this fabulous place“

“A little hidden gem in Avon Lake, Ohio. Friendly staff and polite hardworking employees everywhere you turn. We made reservations and they were accommodating. It’s a family friendly or date night kind of place. They have a small bar area up front with wine bottles every where, really cool vibes. The fresh bread and garlic butter are amazing. The Chicken Alfredo can easily feed 3-4 people, it’s HUGE! The grouper dish was good too. We had side of shrimp and calamari as well. Next time will save room for those delicious looking desserts. Clean and cozy spot!Parking: Parking lot upfront the restaurant.“

“Had such a fabulous dinner for 9 people (including 1 toddler) and everyone loved their meals. Our server Gwen was WONDERFUL-- friendly, fun, efficient, and helpful. We ordered a variety of choices-- Chicken entree, Lobster cakes, Mussels, Ahi Tuna-- everything was delicious! Deserts (Creme Brûlée, flourless choc cake, etc) also delish. VERY good value for a lovely restaurant with terrific food and great service.“

“A great place to enjoy a perch fish fry cold beer and friendly folks. Excellent assortment of sandwiches, burgers and American fare all prepared well and served quickly. Some upscale offerings as well. A large chalkboard features daily specials, food and drink. A real gem in Avon Lake on Lake Rd. Large parking area and cozy patio in back.“

“Parker's catered a memorial luncheon for our family at the Sunset Terrace in Lorain. Mitzi was a joy to work with in terms of planning and worked with me to customize the menu and consider every detail. The food was delicious, plentiful, and reasonably priced. The rating on the venue in this case is for the Sunset Terrace, which is operated by Lorain County MetroParks. It is a truly stunning place, right on the lake, with great parking. The contract is very inflexible, but for a venue that size, not a bad price. We've also eaten at Parker's a few times, and I always enjoy the food. It can get a little noisy during busy times (avoid prom season!).Vegetarian options: Limited. Menu is kind of heavy on meat.Dietary restrictions: Your servers will be able to tell you what is in the food. Catering was flexible about vegetarian and gluten-free options.“

“After attending lodge in avon lake, they told me we would be going here for the refreshments. Really good pizza! Atmosphere was local and i liked the vibe. I will be back as the brother who received light has two more degrees to receive. /G\“

“I have loved in the area since 2012 and have passed by multiple times on my way to see my parents. Today I decided to stop. The parking lot was crowded and I thought it might be a wait. But the place was larger than I expected and I was seated quickly. Once in the booth it wasn't long before my server showed. A bit of quick pleasantries and my order was in. The place reminded me of an 1960s restaurant. Very clean and family oriented. The vibe screams family and good friends meet here. I order the godfather omelet. It was packed with mushrooms, spinach, and sausage. It came with a side of potatoes and toast. I choose rye because the bite goes well with breakfast. When the omelette arrived it was much bigger than I would imagine. Most of the meals are shareable definitely enough food for two. I'm usually not an egg fan, but I definitely would order it again. Just need to bring a plus one. If you're in the area for the eclipse stop by for a great meal.“

“Huge salads for the price. Staff are very courteous. Love the many different options to choose from. They also serve soup, wraps, and smoothies. I have had their soup which has always been good. I had a wrap once and it was a nice size and delicious. I haven't had a smoothie yet. This is our go to place for a nice dinner salad.“

“Met friends for breakfast At Cafe Melissa. I cannot recommend this place enough!!!! Everything they do is top notch! Our server was very welcoming and attentive. The food came quickly. The food was absolutely delicious. Everyone at my table was delighted with their meals. The roasted potatoes, that came with breakfast were THE BEST!!! Each person also got a small fresh fruit cup with breakfast. A very nice touch. I will be going back to Cafe Melissa's, and soon!!!!“
