“Nothing like Close Quarters. I lived in Westlake for 2 years in 97-99. This was my favorite watering hole. The atmosphere was unlike any other place that I have been. I traveled throughout the Great Lakes. You feel like you are home with friends the first time you walk through the doors.“

“Had such a fabulous dinner for 9 people (including 1 toddler) and everyone loved their meals. Our server Gwen was WONDERFUL-- friendly, fun, efficient, and helpful. We ordered a variety of choices-- Chicken entree, Lobster cakes, Mussels, Ahi Tuna-- everything was delicious! Deserts (Creme Brûlée, flourless choc cake, etc) also delish. VERY good value for a lovely restaurant with terrific food and great service.“

“Authentic Taiwanese food which is a rare find in the area! The Taiwanese Yan Su Chicken was really delicious. The dang dang noodle and spicy beef noodle were just like what you would get in Taiwan. The chef and staff were very friendly and the dining area was clean and comfortable.“

“Taki's is great, but it is pretty difficult as a celiac! I did not even make it through dinner..... That said, our server was wonderful, and did her best. My gyro-connoisseur husband liked, but did not love the gyro. The pita bread looked amazing, and I was told it was. I had the kitchen salad with grilled chicken, which was juicy and flavorful. Taki's is very popular and busy, and the staff is great, especially the bartenders. Give it a try!!!“

“A great place to enjoy a perch fish fry cold beer and friendly folks. Excellent assortment of sandwiches, burgers and American fare all prepared well and served quickly. Some upscale offerings as well. A large chalkboard features daily specials, food and drink. A real gem in Avon Lake on Lake Rd. Large parking area and cozy patio in back.“

“This is our favorite place for after work happy hour! Drinks are cheap and strong! They don't have a big beer selection if your into craft beer but they carry a few. The service is awesome! We love all of the staff Norm(and his girlfriend), Danny, and I unfortunately can't remember the other female bartender but they are so friendly and welcoming! We are making this our regular spot once or twice a month and they always help us put tables together (there's about 8-10 of us) and are constantly coming up to us asking if we need more drinks. The food is typical bar food but it's great! The burgers are delicious and the chicken tenders are huge! Everything is so affordable and the regulars are so friendly. We love this place!“

“The food was good especially the spicy crispy chicken sandwich. Also the 3 pepper cheese cubes were tasty & spicy! The Philly cheesesteak was good too. The fries were burnt but they made us more. The worst thing was the music was Terribly Loud & destroyed the atmosphere.“

“My husband and I got the birrias and we loved them! The beef consume (broth) was so delicious! It was the first time we’ve ever had birrias. We highly recommend that you give them a try. The waiter checked on us a few times and was very friendly. We will definitely go back.“
