“Seemed like a cool, small place. About half a dozen taps and several domestic and Canadian bottled beers as well as a full bar. Bartender was very friendly and talkative. There was a food menu but I didn't try any of it so I'm not sure if it's good. It's bigger than it looks, pool table in the back with a few high top tables. I think it's cash only but they do have an ATM.“

“Stopped in for brunch and my wife and I got the breakfast pizza tooped with fried eggs. I was on the fence about it but...this thing was DELICIOUS! I haven't been able to stop thinking about it. Also a big fan of the tots and mac and cheese bowls. Food is always good, always a friendly crowd, and the service is always on-point. The staff is friendly, engaging, and go out of their way to ensure customer satisfaction. One of our favorite stops.“

“The Lizard has "skiing dippers", a chicken wing-nugget without breading. They taste great, and I feel good eating them. Many different beers, a happy staff, and a good vibe.Update- It's been awhile since I visited. The wings were overcooked, tasted bad to me, maybe I've been spoiled by another chain- BW3s. I had to return them. They were kind enough to take the wings off of my bill and I ordered something else, but they asked so many questions, and told me that they talked to the chef, and there is actually nothing wrong with the wings. I felt bothered, they did this 5 or 6 times. The healthy option of "skinny dippers" is no longer a thing.The refund was much appreciated, and maybe my taste buds have changed. I do appreciate the refund for the bad tasting wings. I'm leaving 5 stars, don't want to give the business or the people a low score.“

“Veranda is a quaint restaurant bar with plenty of outdoor seating in the summer. I would highly recommend their Happy Hour Surf and Turf. . It is a small filet and shrimp with asparagus and potatoes. The happy hour portion is perfect for me. If you are a big eater you can order two of them. At $14 apiece it is still a great value! The atmosphere is older adults and the inside is cozy. Outside, festive lights create a relaxed and carefree summer feeling. In the summer they have live bands outside and dancing. On occasion there may be an acoustic type singer inside creating a pleasant dining experience. There is plenty of free parking!I gave service lower rating only because the bartender is not very friendly. I have been there several times for happy hour and she rarely smiles and made me feel like I was an inconvenience. One time, when she waited on me she said “ You only have minutes to put your Happy Hour order in”. Maybe she is having a difficult time, but you think the phrase “ Happy Hour” might dictate being Happy!“

“Went to the Avon location for lunch with my grandsons. I was worried as it took a bit of time to get a table even though we were the only ones in line and there were a number of open tables. Well my worries were for naught. The service turned out to be awesome and the food was great. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a casual place with good food, good drinks and great service!“

“Food was great. My only complaint would be the Queso. It came to the table luke warm but the flavor was good. The birria torta was great but wish it came with a side of consommé to dip the sandwich in cause it was a little dry but very flavorful. The chili was delicious!“

Store hard to spot, but a great meeting place for friends or business people to meet. “My family and I were there for the soler eclipse, weekend. We walked in sat down at the bar, everyone was extremely friendly, kind, nice, polite, warm and welcoming. We had just come from another bar around the corner called SPEAK OF THE DEVIL they were rude unwelcoming talked about us eclipse people like really what are they doing here. Never went back there again. Back to Brass & Bronze we had the tacos the 1st night amazing. We went back the second night the kitchen had just closed so we had a drink then one of the owners came over and said I know how to make pizza I can make you pizza. So that is what we had for our 2nd night s dinner. We went back the next day for the eclipse for lunch about 1 again amazing. We meet the President of the city Council Joel Arredondo and his wife they sat outside with us and watched the eclipse. Again very welcoming, they had their daughter’s wedding at this restaurant. “If you have not tried aces depot do your mouth a real favor and go immediately the food was absolutely amazing everything you order is made fresh and in house had passed this bar and grill for many years and never thought to go try it finally did and if I could give 10 stars I absolutely would best food in the area amongst all other restaurants and bars in the area the bartender was absolutely amazing very on top of everything and would educate you on everything they have or that they can make“

“Nothing like Close Quarters. I lived in Westlake for 2 years in 97-99. This was my favorite watering hole. The atmosphere was unlike any other place that I have been. I traveled throughout the Great Lakes. You feel like you are home with friends the first time you walk through the doors.“

It came with Salas, baked potato and bread for $17.95. It's an older restaurant and it shows but it was clean. Our server was very nice. My gyro-connoisseur husband liked, but did not love the gyro. The pita bread looked amazing, and I was told it was. I had the kitchen salad with grilled chicken, which was juicy and flavorful. Taki's is very popular and busy, and the staff is great, especially the bartenders. Give it a try!!!“

“Great hole in the wall bar where there are usuals rather than random patrons. If you're looking for a place to become a regular at then this is the place. They have one pool table and darts. Food is coming soon as the city approves. They didn't have my liquor of choice but they did have three kinds or Crown so I settled but the more I go and become a regular then they said they would definitely stick my drink. Friendly crowd, very welcoming and open to conversation. Simply put, I had a great time with my brother and felt right at home.“

“One of my favorites. The food and atmosphere are terrific. We prefer to sit in the booths near the fireplace. The service is good but not great. We’ve had a waitress a few times that is excellent but we’ve had a couple of other servers that were good but not great which makes the service a bit inconsistent for me. Overall we really enjoy coming here and would recommend for others.“
