What a cool time!…food and vibe were excellent, especially the salmon and brussels sprouts….but what made this a memorable experience was our waiter Quinn. He was extremely personable, fun & attentive from the moment we sat down to the moment he chased after us when.we ran out without paying (just kidding, we paid and of course he deserved to be tipped well!)….his Trainee, Brandon ALSO ADDED WELL TO THE EXPERIENCE, so brave to overcome his condition…. Give this place a try!

The food was terrible. I went here for mother's day since they have gf and vegan options on the menu, and my mother in law wanted to go there. But I'll probably never go back. I wish I'd taken pictures of our food, but I didn't think of it so I'll just describe it.Both soups our table tried (white bean & kale, and tomato bisque) were awfully salty. I ordered the white bean caprese dish. It was about 15 canned cannelini beans covered in slightly wilted spinach, with a little marinara sauce and a bunch of red pepper flakes on top. It was very little food. Also, too salty and quite flavorless aside from the tomato and spiciness of the red pepper flakes. My partner ordered the (vegan) cauliflower Bolognese. It was a bowl of undercooked noodles in salty marinara sauce. surprisingly, I don't think the noodles were boiled in salt water, since they were super bland. And the noodle texture was totally off. There were a few pieces of cremini mushrooms throughout the dish (maybe 5-8), and about 10 tiny crumbs of the "nooch" Parmesan mentioned in the menu. No sight of cauliflower.Another person in the party ordered the vegan Caesar salad with falafel added on for $6. The salad was just a bowl of chopped romaine (like you can get pre-chopped in a bag at the grocery store). There was Caeser dressing on the side, but no chickpeas and no vegan Parmesan. No other vegetables either, just lettuce. The falafel that came on top was pale green all the way through like it hadn't been cooked. It tasted like raw box falafel mix, definitely not anything made in-house or fresh. I'm wondering if the kitchen staff just didn't know it needed to be fried? My mother-in-law and father-in-law didn't complain too much about their food. I don't know if that's because they liked their food better than the rest of us or if it's because they were being polite. They both got meat dishes, so I didn't personally try what they had. The fries were okay aside from being slightly too salty lol.Nobody talked to any of the staff about our complaints since things with the family were tense and nobody wanted to rock the boat. So we didn't give anyone a chance to make things right.Nevertheless, I wouldn't eat the food here even if it was cheap, but this place is pricey so the food is especially not worth the exorbitant cost. I don't know if they were having an off day in the kitchen or what, but I've seen similar complaints about their food in recent reviews and I highly do not recommend this place. As a side note, they don't have any vegan desserts. And the environment in the restaurant is loud and over-stimulating. There were tvs playing, and hard surfaces everywhere so all of the noise was just echoing around in there and it was difficult to have a conversation. (We were seated at a round table set for 6)Vegetarian options: Very few vegan and vegetarian menu items and I don't recommend them. The menu is pretty clearly labeled, except that it's unclear when items have eggs or honey or other non-dairy foods that vegans avoid.Dietary restrictions: There are gluten free and dairy free items listed on the menu, but only a few. I can't speak to whether or not the kitchen treats the GF dishes properly for Celiac's disease since my sensitivity to gluten is minor.

Nice decor. Had better expectations for the food. I opened the first jam jar there was mold in it. The plates look like diner food and not a nice brunch spot in a hotel food. Old fruits, undercooked potato. First they got the bread wrong and then I asked for sweetener other than sugar, they gave me sugar. Felt like a roadside diner.

Great find. Our server, Brion, was fantastic and the manager, Curtis, was friendly and helpful. I ordered the salad with salmon which was delicious. My wife and I both loved our meals.

We enjoyed our dinner at Betts. It is a casual place with a nice menu of salads & burgers as well as several mains and cocktails. The food was good and we had great service by Quinn. It's also fairly close to Playhouse Square.

We came here for brunch and had a very disappointing experience. We sat at the bar and had extremely slow service. I ordered the vegan Caesar salad with an added portobello mushroom, which was an additional $6. The salad did not have the chickpeas or vegan cheese, and the mushroom was the size of a regular mushroom, absolutely absurd to charge $6 for that. It was basically iceberg lettuce with dressing. My boyfriend ordered the salmon and was served an egg bagel sandwich. We had already been waiting so long he said he would just eat it, and it was not very good. The restaurant did not offer to comp anything for the mistake. The prices were very high as well. I would definitely NOT recommend this place to anyone, and I'm bummed I wasted a meal on a weekend trip here.

Betts is off the lobby of a hotel. My family and I have dined at Betts 5+ times now while visiting Cleveland. Excellent menu and the food is delicious. Love the decor and ambiance is this restaurant.
