“Finally stopped into Amba! An acquaintance and I dropped in for an impromptu dinner on a Friday night, and I was excited to finally see it as I’d been hearing so many great things about it. They’ve definitely got the towns attention! When I came in I was really impressed by the overall ambiance and it has this beautifully dark, sculptural quality. I was surprised by how drawn into the decor and visual aesthetic of the space. And if you’re someone who feels you like that feeling of cozy and privacy when out enjoying a meal- it is perfect for you. My friend and I enjoyed a combination of both the cocktails and mocktails, I had the spiced nectar and blue bergamot. SO good. So different than the typical mocktail- not your typical mixer combo. But really unique recipes created with a lot of depth. Just as much to be enjoyed as the plates themselves. We had somewhere around 7-8 dishes and I came in as someone who loves Indian food expecting a typical experience and was given more than a meal, but a really fun and innovate experience. Bright visual aesthetics and flavors created a very exciting and delicious experience! (Plenty of vegan options as well.)”

“Came for a birthday party and can't say I'd be back. There were several problems. First off, I waited 40 minutes for a coke. Seems like everyone else got their alcohol though which also had a very long wait. The server Cici was awful to say the least. She couldn't get anything right. My husband ordered the rib dinner and i had the two meats and two sides (brisket and ribs). The ribs were very good, I would definitely order them again if I ever came back. But the brisket was absolutely awful. The toughest, driest piece of meat I've ever bitten, tasteless with no bark whatsoever. They were out of rib tips which I was honestly disappointed about but the ribs were bomb. They were moist yet tender cooked to perfection. The macaroni and cheese *and believe me I don't eat everybody's* was really really good. The greens had too much vinegar but were still enjoyable. The baked beans (Fire whoever made them immediately) literally took a can of bushes and added green peppers and onion. I ordered my 2 year old a smoked wing appetizer and some fries. WE GOT MY 2 YEAR OLDS FOOD AS WE WERE PACKING UP OURS, He literally ate my whole plate because he had no food. I ordered the garlic parm on the side and of course when they brought his wings it was covered in garlic parm. The fries were so full of salt they weren't edible but I got over that quickly. Still being very very generous I told the waitress I would be paying for my friend for his birthday. She didn't just charge my card for my best friends meal, but for everyone else at the table almost 300$. How do you make that kind of mistake. I believe it was intentional. After that I just ran out of there. The service however bad, still didn't overshadow that the food was really good. I just wouldn't order the brisket agian and definitely tell them no salt on your fries”

EDIT: admittedly I am very biased about my chicken and some of the other chicken spots within Cleveland aren't exactly in my top 10 the crispy chicken spot in the rapid stop gas station on East 55th and Payne the only other chicken serving restaurant that I'll ever go to besides them is red Walters over near East 85th Street those are the only two chicken restaurants or spots in general in Cleveland that me and my family will go to otherwise we don't go anywhere else we don't touch nobody else chicken if it ain't made within the house or in them two businesses”

The pictures don’t do the food justice because every single thing I try is phenomenal. Overnight oats are SUPERIOR, I have always skipped breakfast and now I no longer have to. I ordered by the LB broccoli, rice, chicken, ground beef and hummus for my lunches this week and I can’t wait to eat at the office now. Food truly is fuel and I am so grateful that my brother and co workers referred me to ZDC. BIG PLUS, the food comes in the best quality hot/cold food bag and I use it to bring my ZDC meals back and forth to and from home and work. Within a minute of being seated our server had our drink order and returned with them. Appetizers ordered: Hot sausage stuffed peppers These weee absolutely awesome. Served with peppers and onions with a light marinara. Menu says “spicy”; they are medium hot but amazing flavor Artichoke The couple with us ordered these ?breadcrumb” battered and fried portion. Also sauced in hous made marinara. Entrees ordered: chicken parm, spaghetti marinara, scallops and pasta. All were tremendous! Our server Martha was spot on with everything, meal was very nicely paced. I spoke with the gentleman in charge to compliment him on his food and staff. This was our first visit but definitely not our last! This is a definite 10/10.”

“I've traveled a lot of the world, and this is some of the best shawarma I've had, anywhere. The chicken shawarma genuinely tastes like you flew to Syria to get it. Nothing about it tastes like filler or fake ingredients — I'm a big guy and I could barely finish the plate, that's how substantial and real the food is.
Tried the custard for dessert too — sweet but perfectly balanced, never overpowering. Their hot sauce brings real heat too, not a gimmick.
Place is clean, and they've got a nice outdoor patio if you want to eat outside. Service was fast even with people constantly coming in and out — and the guy at the counter still took a minute to talk with me. Told me he was from Syria, asked where he was from, we chatted a bit. You could tell he genuinely loves what he does, which is rare to find these days.

“I'm a little late posting this review. Dropped my son at Case in August and wandered downtown for a while. Stopped here for a quick bite. Realized it was cash only after ordering. The owner and the man behind me picked up my meal. I am so grateful for both their kindness. Now, getting to the food. This meal was ridiculously inexpensive, I think maybe 7 bucks with tax. my portion was incredible generous. I did tofu and vegetables and it was hot, fresh, and delicious. The veggies were just just lightly cooked and the sauce was scrumptious. I learned (finally) the difference between brown and white tofu and can now say that the texture of brown tofu is fantastic! I'm so glad I stopped here and super grateful to the owner and a kind stranger for the delicious meal! ❤️”

“Every 6-8 weeks I meet a couple of friends at Dina’s for lunch. We met Saturday Jan 3rd 2026 about 1:45. It was extremely busy. As soon as we were seated our server Jenn (Jennifer O) got down to business with us. She was calm, attentive and friendly. As we took up her booth for a while for a girls vent/tea spilling/catch up she was amazing! We knew the food was exceptional but Jenn was a huge bonus! Thank you from the buffet ladies!”

“Good Pizza delivered in a big way. Had the spicy vodka slice and the pepperoni, and they recommended hot honey on the pepperoni, so I went for it. The honey doesn't overpower the slice at all, it's just the right balance and adds a nice touch without taking over.
The vodka slice was good too, but if I'm picking a favorite between the two, the pepperoni edges it out. That's not a knock on the vodka though, the sauce really stands out and the dough is fantastic across the board. Outside of New York, this is honestly the best NY style pizza I've had.
One heads up, they're closed Sundays, so plan your visit accordingly.”

Every bartender we interacted with was amazing, welcoming, and so knowledgeable. We also had the pleasure of speaking with Anthony, the mastermind behind the cocktails and the general manager. He is truly an incredible person. You can tell how much he cares about creating not only amazing drinks, but also a warm, inviting, and safe space for everyone who walks through the door.

“Royal taste of Bengal : Nestled on the west side of Cleveland, a husband/wife duo run this charming establishment. The owner/chef used to work at Bombay Chaat over by CSU and he remembered us. He also routinely comes out and greets the customers. You can really taste the love in the food! Want something off the menu? No problem. You can even see into the kitchen while he cooks and chat. There are a lot of things on the menu that other restaurants don’t offer, highly recommend if you want authentic Indian flavors. The food takes time to prepare so don’t be in a hurry. “My neighbor mentioned this place and invited me along for dinner last night. Our server Rachel was phenomenal and her recommendations were spot on. We started with the Rosti and crab cakes and both were incredible. My neighbor she had the scallops for her entree and was thoroughly impressed and I had the sea bass - which was the most well prepared sea bass I’ve ever had.

Overall awesome experience. I’ll be back to enjoy a cocktail and appetizer at the bar on my way home from work.”

When we walked in we asked how long it would take to get a pizza and explained that we were short on time and the owner greeted us and told us that he could have us a pizza ready in about 10 minutes. We were seated and given some complementary bread. The owner suggested their take on the new haven style and it was amazing.The place was clean and cozy. The staff were friendly and welcoming.
