The Best McDonald’s Experience I’ve Ever Had – Right in My Neighborhood!
This McDonald’s on Pearl & Denison is more than just fast food — it’s a reminder that kindness still exists. I’ve eaten at many McDonald’s locations, even the mansion one in Independence, OH… but none compare to this one.
What makes this spot so special isn’t just the food — it’s the people. We live in a beautifully diverse neighborhood, but with that comes real-life challenges like poverty. I once saw a man loitering outside, and another customer stepped up and gave the cashier money so he could eat. No questions asked. No judgment. Just pure compassion.
The employees here treat everyone with respect, no matter their background or situation. They don’t just serve — they care. Even my service dog-in-training, Hazel (or as I call her, my angel), has been welcomed warmly. We’ve sat and eaten together with zero issues — just smiles and kindness all around.
Love sees no color at this McDonald’s. The atmosphere is warm, the people are real, and the compassion is unmatched. If you’re looking for more than just a meal — if you’re looking for humanity — this is the place. Thank you to the staff for being the heart of the neighborhood. ❤️“
“The owner of this location is awesome. Engages with the staff and customers. Is sincerely appreciative of their patronage. The service is very fast, and the food quality is above par of MANY McDonald's restaurants. Definitely recommend this location and look for the best owner of this McDonald's.“
“Good service, I can appreciate real people who verbally took my order. I had a little temporary issue with the kiosk.
I chose to dine in today. My order came promply and fresh.
This well managed restaurant is spic & span clean!
I m still loving it!“
“I rarely ever take the time to write reviews, but this one is WELL DESERVED! My husband and I just experienced the best, top tier customer service at this McDonald’s tonight (9-4-24). I asked for two of the workers names who were serving us, Destiny & Josephine. They were the kindest, sweetest, and most polite service workers I’ve probably ever met- Both so smiley, friendly, & joyful. It truly makes a remarkable difference to customers when the employees serving you are pleasant & friendly. We frequent multiple McDonald’s locations throughout the city of Cleveland & surrounding suburbs (our McD’s apps could verify this), and I can honestly say this was the best service we’ve ever received. That is why I made sure to ask for their names so that they could be recognized for their amazing work. After writing this Google review, I will be sure to call the # on our receipt to leave another positive review there, as well. They deserve all of the recognition! I know people leave bad reviews all the time when they receive terrible service, and I’m a firm believer in recognizing others when they do well and perform above & beyond. Not only was their customer service incredible, but our food was also hot, fresh, delicious, & perfectly made to order - just as we requested. THANK YOU SO MUCH to Destiny, Josephine, and the rest of E. 55th McD’s crew! Your customers are grateful & appreciative for your hard work! ? I would happily drive out of my way to come back to this location if I could expect this same experience.???“
“I just want the owner to know I picked up a mobile order today Monday 11/24/25 @ 3:21 pm and the guy I encountered at the first (pay) window and the guy at the second (food) window were the most friendly polite people that totally amazed me. I don't think I have seen such outstanding customer service like them in many years and it definitely is not the normal experience at McDonald's. Unfortunately rude and empathetic employees who treat customers like they are bothering them has predominantly become the face of customer service anymore. So give these guys some praise and a raise and do whatever you need to do to keep employees like this around to represent your business.“
“there was a worker wearing a bonnet and also another worker wearing a crop top. The manager was calling my mom, babe and baby. even though the manager is Great I don’t know why he was calling my mom babe and baby. Love the manager, but that’s a little weird. Don’t know why but their food is always fresh just the workers. LOVE THE MANAGER THOUGH“
“The personnel spoke clearly and were courteous. They handled the food and drinks with care. Their conversations with each other was also courteous. They worked together to achieve seamless service.
Kid-friendliness: The toys in the Happy Meals relate to a current movie character that the children are familiar. It causes the children to plan for a future visit to collect all the characters on the meal box.“
“The staff here actually cares they are quick. And make the food the correct way, not sloppy and fast like most McDonald's. This has to be one of my favorite McDonald's in Northeast Ohio, amazing. What can be done when workers actually care a plus plus plus plus“
“I wish I knew the young man's name at the counter. He was great. Very friendly and on point with our orders. I appreciate good service and that exactly what we got. If you see this young man, you'll know exactly who I'm typing about. Way to go McDonald's.“
“Not sure how long the manager In the morning has been at this location but I definitely see a change . She is on it when it comes to fast service , professionalism , and warm welcoming. She is the one who makes me keep coming back . I appreciate her not sure what her name is !“
“My first time here & on the west in a long time . My first look inside McDonalds gorgeous, I then went to the restroom absolutely clean & no smell . I then went to place my order with no long wait time but I received my order the food was delicious & pippin hot freshly cooked. Awesome!! 😇
I had to talk to the manager to express how excellent the service for. If anyone is on the west visited the Mc Donald ‘s at 14235 Puritus road, you will enjoy the service experience & the hot food. Thank you McDonald“
“I ordered off the McDonalds App trying to get my fish sandwiches.
Idk how you messed up my order when it says on the ticket PLAIN.
I want no tartar sauce nor lettuce on my fish. You're so lucky it tastes great and I'm giving it 3 stars cause the fish is good. Nah, I'll add a 4. Cause I get Customer Service.
Drive Thru probably suck. Thanks for trying.“
“I was surprised that service was actually good for the first time in a while I had no troubles/delays with my order, this store left good first impression. My experience with McDonald's stores in past few months would not be considered as pleasant, saying as former MCD Shift Manager myself. Of course there are always good and bad shifts in every store, but I guess I got the good one)“
“The young man working at 5:30pm cashiering,, his name stairs with a T I believe, I completely forget what he said his name was. Anyways,, I walked in with my 3 yr old daughter in a stroller and he greeted her right away with a smile and asked her what she wanted! He focused on her and was so kind and I appreciate him so much! Kindness really makes a difference and we need more people to be like him!! I noticed so I'm speaking on it! Give that young man a raise and I wish I was able to give him a tip! Thank you so much I'll be back soon 😊“
“Well I ordered a med coffee w 3 crms n 3 sugars n med Dr. Pepper to go at kiosk / It took 24 min n there was only 1 other person waiting for food before me ! She handed me empty cup for pop n my cup of coffee ! Coffee great perfect ! And no tissue in handicap stall ( which they remedied immediately ) ! The lids were nasty ( like something spilled on them ) ! Ladies were nice n respectful ! So I'm a little perplexed ! Lol 🤪“
“I am so please to write this review. I was serviced Sunday September 21st about 830pm, the girl at the window had braids and she was working with another young lady. They were extremely kind and Friendly, very professional. Food was hot and fresh. Correct condiments in bag. Great service! I was so happy because you usually get terrible service here. Applauds to these young workers 💪🏾 keep up the great work!“
“the food here is always good whenever I order.. but this morning I was really upset with this service! firstly it was 10:37am when I arrived and breakfast was already shut down early which was annoying.. then I proceeded to place an oder through the app and I used a deal with a coffee order which gave me the choice of getting most of any of the coffees for $2 and I believed I didn't click a large which was what I originally wanted! instead I received a small and one of the younger workers was really patient with me about my concern with that.. until this older short white lady with glasses came up and tried to basically finesse me saying that if I wanted to switch it out with a large I would have to pay the original price for the drink which was around $4 something.. but I had already used my $2 app deal so giving me a large wouldn't have been any major difference! I feel she just wanted to control the situation by finessing me with charging me $ 2 extra dollars which I feel was really unnecessary especially considering those larges aren't that large in size *>> via cups sizes!“
