“My husband and I really enjoyed coming here for our date night! We shared the warm olives to start, which were delicious. My husband had the Salmon Succotash and I had the Mushroom Fettuccine. Then we shared a serving of the bread pudding. All was delicious, fresh, and hot! Our waitress was amazing. Overall a great experience and we will definitely be coming back.”

“When we walked into the restaurant we were immediately greeted by one of the staff (very friendly) they informed us that our reservation was for another day (my mistake lol). The host told us to wait and see and they told us they have a table for us we felt bad and said we can sit outside which was a little chilly ? they turned on the heaters for us and continually checked on us. We had the chicken piccata and the chicken Parmesan for dinner we also got the burrata and the arancini for appetizers all very good!! We finished dinner and were pretty cold we were invited by our waitress to come back in to finish our wine and finish off a wonderful dinner and one to remember lol. I asked for us to sit outside to the tables underneath the overhead fans and Ulysses "Uli" proposed to management and away we went! We, contrary to others, found the food variety, presentation and taste above most others. Only to be surpassed by the non-evasive attention and supreme service offered by the one and the same, Ulysses. Trust, he coudn't have been more attentive and reactive to our needs albeit we couldn't find anything not already provided for. Within 15 minutes from home, relaxing and alas a Lakewood Ranch find... now we know we'll certainly be back and five stars and "lucky to have 'em to one and all, Ulysses... cheers Note: Truth, parties we dressed for a night out but good for them! Celebrate the good tymes presented and make as many as you can whenever one can!”

“We were there for a birthday celebration. Our server was excellent. We were extremely disappointed with the manager’s treatment when we addressed an issue with the bottle of wine. She was rude and condescending. We were 50 year old adults with a legitimate complaint, not people trying to get out of paying for something(we were getting more wine). Very very disappointing. Everyone else was wonderful and the food was fabulous. It’s a shame the manager does not know how to treat customers respectfully and appropriately.”

“Had to visit our favorite coffee shop for National Coffee Day. Got a warm sit down coffee for once, their Jack O'Latte. Later came back and got an iced Mocha special. Syrups are very flavorful and drinks are balanced, and seasonal offerings are creative. Crepes are hit or miss but not the main reason I visit. We love the Alfajore cookies the have available and local art is always for sale. Air quality remains good with outside seating and the door frequently open.”

They were attentive, knowledgeable, and polite, the people who raised them should be so proud! I had the fried okra and shrimp n grits, the okra was fried to perfection and the dipping sauce it comes with was delectable. The shrimp were juicy, the sauce was perfect, and the grits! The grits were somehow amazingly creamy and rich and also fluffy and light?? I'm on my third day of working doubles and to sit down for a bit and read my book and have such a nourishing, well cooked meal was a much needed relief. I hope by the time I am posting this review, your restaurant is full to the brim with a Saturday night rush! Thank you so much!”

I thought that was cool and I didn’t know this initially. I came for the restaurant/rooftop. We went upstairs and they had a good playlist of songs , the food was amazing !!!! Absolutely delicious. I order the fire roasted shrimp as appetizer and it was so good when the veggies !! Although it said fire it wasn’t hot at all. It was Made just right . I ordered the chicken and waffles as my entree . Chicken was cooked perfect and the hot honey syrup was good as well . We also order the BBW wings and fries which were good too. I tried the green apple slushy mixed with the peach one and added my choice of liquor ! Delicious!!! Our sever Tone was great ! I will definitely be back. It’s a LBGTQ restaurant and they have drag brunch on Sundays ! I’ll be going to check it out . I’ve always wanted to go to one and now I do ??”

“Grand rising family, got a new find from my ADT Viking brothers. This Jamaican cuisine has no equal, IMHO(in my humble opinion). The menu is unique in that you can get salads, wraps, loaded patties, and more. They blessed me with sampling the dishes. Now, it should not need to be said, but, pls don't take advantage.😢.

Atmosphere wise I think it's very relaxed and between the beautiful green marble looking counters and the vintage women on the wallpaper it gives an old-school diner vibe.

My only complaint is how congested it can be. That's nothin against the restaurant at all though. They are (understandably) busy but Saturday lunch with mimosas doesn't pair well with an unruly toddler thrashing in the booth behind me.

All in all I would recommend it and will likely be back. Just got to find a time where they aren't as busy ??”

“We recently reserved tables for a "Welcome Drinks with the Bride and Groom" event. Both our local and out-of-town guests LOVED everything about it. Reserving/booking was a breeze. The combination of high tops, picnic tables, and lounge seating accommodated all ages (young kids - elderly grandparents). The event and day of staff were incredible. We had one main drink server dedicated to our party of 60 ish people and she CRUSHED IT.”

This place is right next to my old boyfriends apartment so we went down for late night drinks a lot and half the time it was closed at midnight. Despite its flaws, it was a nice place for me and my boyfriend to sip, talk and not spend a lot. We were always treated nicely by the bartender as well.”

“My husband and I are weekly regulars at a lot of cocktail bars and restaurants in the Cle/Akron areas because while we don’t live near anything good, we will travel for good cocktails and vegan food, lol. Pins & Needles is one of our favorite places to go! The décor and atmosphere is so fun and really well done for the 70s-era vibes and the cocktails on the menu reflect the times with old-fashioned era-appropriate classics and fun spins on classics that range from light and fruity to rich and boozy and we have actually had some of our favorite cocktails ever here! The menu rotates seasonally, but there’s always something for everyone. (Get the Midnight Cowboy for sure though, it’s one of the best).

It’s great that we can order food from upstairs too because Mahall’s has amazing vegan options and a regularly rotating menu as well. We also love chatting with all the mixologists here - they’re all very welcoming and personable and since we come here a lot we’ve gotten to know a lot of them, so shout out to Carl, Rosie, Connor, Michael, Autumn, and Eric upstairs!

We don’t really go to this venue (Mahall’s & Roxy) for concerts and prefer the low-key and often quieter atmosphere of Pins and Needles, though we’ve also taken big groups there since it can accommodate a lot of people and the space is great for both types of outings. We’ve also brought a lot of people here for their first time and they’ve loved the drinks and food too.”

“Loved getting pizza from Eat Me Pizzeria on Fourth of July. The person who is checked us out was so friendly and polite. They have the one of the best pizza’s. We got 3 pizza’s that were all exquisite in taste and a soon point in their flavor. We got their Trojan which is like a supreme, but the ones that stole my heart were the spicy pig with the chorizo, pineapple, smoked paprika aioli and red pickled onion. The absolute star of the show was their Danny Boy pizza with the Peach, manchego cheese, basil and balsamic drizzle and honey reduction. The place looks like a dreamland from inside. I’m already craving more of their delish pizza!

Steak taco was so large I couldn’t even finish. Steak was juicy and the cheese with it sealed the deal. Ingredients tasted and looked fresh. Portions were great for the price. My meal was under $20 and I am more than satisfied. Would make time to stop here again if I’m ever around. Also happened to be stuck here during a tornado warning August 6, and there was no notion of being kicked out, more so security that we would be led to the basement. Thank you!”

“Still the best Dairy Queen in the country. I come back to the city I grew up in to see that we still have the best Dairy Queen in the country. I know it's Dairy queen but it really feels like a local mom n pop store they way the staff knows everyone that walks in. And they also employ all the local high school kids still. I loved to see they are still doing the same thing. Oh and the manager Heather is by far the nicest person ever!!! She was so polite and was able to help me find exactly what I wanted even though I couldn't remember the name for the life of me. But she sat there helping me the whole time. So nice!! So helpful!! So awesome!!! You can also tell the staff working under her really respect n love her. I don't normally post reviews and only will do it when it is absolutely deserved. When a worker goes way above and beyond to help. Cause nowadays customers service has gone out the window. That's why when someone is as Good as Heather is I want to make sure she atleast gets some acknowledgment for it. She made sure this still stays my favorite location and the only one I'll come to.”

“This was our first dinner on our trip to Cleveland and it was perfect! We had two pizzas, a salad, wings, fries, and a giant cookie. Everyone there was so nice and helpful!! The food was fantastic and the pizza was even good the next morning (cold for breakfast).”
