We reserved the private room/side bar to host an after hours post wedding reception. The booking and planning was reasonably priced and a breeze - the bartender was a superhero (as all the bartenders at One Star are on any given night) - and the food was exceptional (again - as always - is the norm). One Star Bar in Lakewood is a cool spot known for its great atmosphere and awesome service. It is a perfect venue for watching a Browns game or hosting a private party, with a beautifully decorated side room that is ideal for celebrations. The staff are friendly and over the top, making events easy and wonderful.
The food is some of the best bar food around, with everything elevated from the standard. Standout items include delicious wings, such as the Mango Thai and Jamaican Jerk, along with awesome chicken sliders. The buffalo sauce is out of this world, and the in-house made ranch dressing, including a dill ranch, is the best, perfectly paired with their fried pickles, which are considered the best in Cleveland. The breading is light and crisp, and the pickles stay firm and snappy. With great cocktails, bucket of beers deals during games, and a menu where everything is so good it's hard not to order the same thing twice, One Star Bar is a highly recommended spot.
