“Such a cute place! The food and drinks are delicious. The staff is courteous and kind. It's a small place, so it can get crowded, and a bit noisy, and street parking is at a premium. But it's well worth a visit. Also, nice to support a queer owned business, which gives back to its community. Love you guys!“
“Blackbird Baking Company has captured my heart as the ultimate bakery and coffee shop in Cleveland. Their selection of baked goods never disappoints, and I find myself constantly drawn to their spinach feta croissant -- a true masterpiece. Impressively, Blackbird's pastries are also available at select coffee shops around the city, like the Rising Star in Tremont, adding a layer of convenience for their fans. The ambiance here is just right: chill, welcoming, and ideal for both productive study sessions and relaxed catch-ups with friends. Do yourself a favor and check out this gem of a spot. You'll quickly understand why their treats are celebrated far and wide.“
“I am a repeat regular because this place is that good. It is a large enough space to host maybe 30-40 patrons (don't quote me on that) with multiple seating areas and a cozy couch setup. The staff is AMAZING - they are always kind and happy whenever we stop in.The most important thing is their coffee which is fabulous. They weren't joking around when they named this place Caffeine - you will be awake and ready for the day after a cup from here. I favor the honeybee latte and the lavender vanilla. And their croissant sandwiches? Yes. You need one. There's savory, there's sweet, there's delicious flakey goodness in every bite. There's something for everyone.AND AND AND you get points when you stop by - associated by phone number - and earn free drinks and even a $20 store credit.Add Caffeine to your local coffee shop rotation. You won't regret it!Parking: If you can't park on the street, go to the parking lot behind the Geiger's clothing store. Huge lot (pay on weekdays, free on weekend's and evenings like a 2009 phone plan). It is a short walk to the shop. You can also go to the garage behind Caffeine - turn down St. Charles and it is on the right hand side after Master's Pizza.Kid-friendliness: Bring your kids, sure!“
“I’m not sure if the employee had an off day, but my friend and I weren’t greeted at all when we came in, when we went to the counter and looked at the menu and when we made eye contact with the employee to place our order. He still didn’t say anything, not even “welcome” or “what would you like?” I had to be the one to initiate and ask how his day was. So that was a bummer. Then we ordered. The food and drinks were good though, we both had sausage burritos and coffee. The place was clean. My friend and I stayed for an hour and a half. We parked in the public lot next door to the building which was convenient!“
“I can't remember if I've left a review here before, but these guys are fantastic. I went there once a couple years ago and found that they stock my favorite tea, and since I live far away I've been ordering from them ever since. I ordered a bunch of tea for shipping today (like maybe two hours ago) and they've already packed it up and it's awaiting shipment. Everything always arrives promptly and perfectly, and often with a sample of some new and interesting blend. Great quality tea, wonderful service. Love this place!“
“I LOVE the vibe of this place. It smells warm and inviting , like a warm hug and a fresh cup of coffee ☺️ the barista was very kind, and the place was nice! Not too crowded. Was able to do some reading in between eating the super good blueberry muffin ☺️ it was delicious and filling ! I’ll definitely be coming back and definitely recommend if you want to just relax or study or have a lil coffee date. It’s the perfect lil café ?“
“I first walked in the doors of Sacred Waters about 6 months ago, wary and unsure of a new place, unfamiliar people, and an unfamiliar menu. Madison talked me through the menu and I enjoyed my first taste of kava enough that I returned a couple days later to try some more. Since then, I've gone innumerable times and it has become a haven for me - a safe and welcoming place with the absolute best people where I am learning to emerge from my shell, meet new people, and enjoy more of life. The kratom and kava help.“
“I love this place!! I ordered an iced coffee here with oat milk in the Summer time and it was delicious ?The young man who served me was really nice too and I love the Bird town neighborhood in Lakewood Ohio!!Vegetarian options: Non dairy optionsDietary restrictions: Non dairy optionsKid-friendliness: I saw lots of games on the the shelves, if I remember right ?“
“The food tasted good. And I had a pleasant interaction with a fellow traveler behind the counter telling them how delighted I was to find out that coconut water mixed well with espresso. I was happy to see the potential in becoming a repeat customer as well. The openess or lack of "stuff" inside the space really drew my attention to the drink. A place to go clear your head and chit chat“
“The service was fantastic! My drink was made absolutely perfectly! I ordered a Cinnamon toast crunch latte with an extra shot of espresso! The gentleman explained their shot process to me, & how they charge it. He also asked me if I wanted whipped cream to make sure that my drink was absolutely perfect (I didn't so that was a big help). To even top it off he helped me with the door because I have a stroller! I am definitely coming back to this place!!! Fantastic coffee and service!!!Parking: Meter parking but also streets nearby have free parking.“
“The Root Cafe' is an absolute gem of a vegetarian eatery in Lakewood, Ohio. Five stars across the board. Terrific drink and menu options. Wonderful service. Don't miss a chance to dine here if you're in the area. Highly recommended.Vegetarian options: the chefs in the kitchen are able to give your dishes highly nuanced flavor profiles that, depending on dish, can be enhanced by slowly building heat ( just enough ) that give the flavors an extra pop!“
“What a great experience this is! Some background: I have never been to Cleveland, but i came to visit my BESTIE! She picks me up from the airport and the FIRST place we go is here! She told me we are going to a really cool coffee place. If she says it is...IT IS! And that was an understatement. The atmosphere calls for sitting here FOR HOURS (if i lived here, we would have!). They have books, games, art on the wall. AND THEY HAVE COFFEE!!! Normally, you might say coffee is coffee, but i now call it the Roasted Exception! As soon as we walked in, we were given STELLAR service by this wonderful red-headed (did not know her name) barista. She was friendly, helpful, and quite knowledgeable (and she laughed at my jokes too, which should give her a Nobel for kindness). My first stop in Cleveland was here, where we went to a back room, which had the most charming furniture. I was in such a state of elation being here and the coffee. Although i had the normal drip with cream; it was truly some of the smoothest that i have had. Did not need to re-make what they made for me. My BFF had the decaf oatmilk latte with chocolate, seemingly exceeding her expectations too. We had a great time here and enjoyed the tradition of "doing coffee". I recommend Roasted Lakewood wholeheartedly and would be here all the time if i lived here!! Oh, and bring a BFF like mine too just to enhance the experience!“
