The food here was soooo good! Had the fried mozzarella (literally the best I've ever had in my life!), the bruschetta, and the papparadelle noodles with the Bolognese sauce. It was divine! Our waiter (I think his name was RJ) was equally amazing. I'll definitely be going back. Just wish it was a little easier to park in Little Italy!
Food is excellent. Try the farfalle. The servers are remarkable. The seating by the window is somewhat compact but that is part of the ambience. I love Maxi's. And don't forget to order escarole and calamari . . . And take home a pizza!!

Our appetizers were frog legs- lightly fried( yummy) and mussels. We ordered a bottle of wine and enjoyed sipping and watching the books and servers do their thing. We split veal scallopini which came with a little ziti pasta in red sauce and Parmesan cheese. We had cannolis for dessert which were delicious. The waiter was incredible, actually one of the best I've had in awhile. The food was reasonably priced and we just really enjoyed the whole evening. Would go there again tonight...read full review
