“The Den is FIRE. Food is so good. The staff are the sweetest people you will ever meet. The vibes are retro diner and super homey. The wait usually takes awhile from 8pm-2am since it's the only restaurant open until late at CWRU. That being said, expect to wait for sometimes an hour for food. When in doubt order ahead. This is not in any way the staff's fault, however. Our school needs more than just one food place open past 9 pm. There are also only about 4-5 workers trying to feed hundreds of starving college kids. When you walk in during peak hours, hundreds of takeout bags line the counter. The app which we order food through for the Den is also extremely inconvenient and annoying. CWRU needs to switch their app for how we order food and get another late night location on the map! The Den is the only option which is not good for students who are hungry and staff who are overworked every night.“
“The food is usually prepared correctly. The portions have remained the same while prices have gone up significantly. The restaurant has staffing issues and issues with the oven hoods being broken, and it's been closed the last few times we've gone there. Kathy is our regular server and is friendly and chatty.“
