The Lakehouse was a restaurant on my list and honestly was underwhelming. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing and there were better options, but my food was bland and sauce was watery and flavorless. My starter was lobster bisque and strangley was thick not with meat but the soup. Flavor was good but no lobster pieces, only the shrimp on top. My entree was the trout with crab and garnish. We had a light skin black girl wait on us yesterday. She had braces and I apologize for not knowing her name. I’m from Pittsburgh and I was there with to Germans visiting America. I’ve been here a few times. Today I visited on a Sunday and was able to try their brunch menu. I got scrambled eggs, hash browns, Canadian bacon with biscuits and honey butter. It doesn’t seem like much but it’s plenty of food. The eggs were scrambled soft. The bacon was delicious. The hashbrowns were horrible. They taste like frozen potatoes baked in the oven for a few minutes. Had absolutely no seasoning or taste. I ended up switching them out for more biscuits....read full review
