“We were visiting from out of town and looking for something quick. We initially planned on ordering pizza and taking it back to our hotel but then decided to eat at the restaurant. So glad we decided to eat in. The hot honey pepperoni pizza was amazing. The Italian beef sandwich was delicious. The owners are the nicest people, so welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely visit them again when we are back in town. Thank you for such a great food and service!!“
“Heart of Gold has so far been the best bite to eat in Cleveland since I moved here from the South. The atmosphere is trendy but laid back with good lighting and a cute small bar. I really loved the menu design, it is very obvious that even the smallest details of this restaurant have been thought out.The overall menu has an interesting and cohesive direction that incorporates Southern and Italian food - which to me was very reminiscent of the kind of fare you'd find in a lunch spot in New Orleans - especially their Tiki drinks on offer.The service was wonderful; everyone was kind, helpful, and seemed excited about the food.We chose the Roman, the fried chicken sandwich, the waffle fries, and the onion rings with the house made ranch.The Roman is a solid sandwich where you can taste every part mentioned in the menu description. I thought all of the ingredients played well together and reminded me a bit of a muffeletta.The waffle fries were very good - I thought the everything seasoning was a very smart choice (the ridges in the fries hold the seasoning in place) and were perfect for dipping. The fry crispiness to fluffiness ratio was to me a perfect balance. My only complaint is that they tasted a little too much of oil.The onion rings were very surprising to me. They are to this date the best onion rings I've ever had. The breading was perfectly crispy and the onion stayed in place upon biting it - which is typically my main issue with onion rings. The sauce drizzled on top paired well with the sweetness with the onion, and the horsey sauce added the right amount of heat.The chicken sandwich was overall a good chicken sandwich. The bread and the maggi mayo punch above their weight and those alone make this a stand out. The chicken was crispy and perfectly cooked. I personally think the chicken itself could use a little more flavor, but again that is only my taste.I can't wait to return to this restaurant and try the other items on the menu. “This was our first experience with ordering from here. Fresh ! Fresh ! Buffalo chicken wraps, 1 with crumble, 1 with ranch and 1 with blue cheese dressing. All came with fries. Fries were good, plenty of ketchup and napkins. Food was hot, wraps were grilled and huge, vegetables inside fresh, chicken was crispy dressing was good. Loved this wrap! Next time I would skip the fries and only order wrap. Too much food. Lol. I also ordered Caesar wrap to try grilled chicken. “The service was great! You can tell the way the owner interacts with customers that they have been coming for years. The gyros and chicken tenders were next level. My girlfriend got hers with fries and we split them up. They’re decently sized. The fries were okay since they were fresh. You can tell they slice them in the back and fry them fresh. I’d suggest a little baking soda to crisp them up. Baking soda alkalizes the water. It breaks down the pectin in the potato and brings the natural starches up to the surface. Making it extra crispy! Other than that, we will be back! All together a large gyro with an 8 pc tender with fries and a $4 tip was $31. Your standard price for two meals nowadays.“
“Been eating at this place for almost 30 years now. Best delivery place around, with full “sit down” type menu. Where else can you get Burgers delivered that are on par with any sit down restaurant? Wings and homemade blue cheese are always incredible… my personal favorites, the chicken philly and Philly steak are top notch! They always have something I have a taste for… not just pizza, wings, and cheesy bread like the other delivery places out there. Highly recommend!“

“The BEST chicken I think I've ever had! Stopped in after a show, bout 12:30am...The place occupies about 1/4 of a gas station & the minute you walk in you can smell the deliciousness! “We used the Third Place to host a post funeral gathering with friends and family. I coordinated with Kevin who was extremely helpful, accommodating, and responsive. We had a side of the bar partioned off for our group and ordered pizza and salad ahead of time for the group (we brought our own desserts). The pizza was phenomenal, hot, and on time. Bartenders were attentive to the guests to get their orders. The pricing for the event was also very reasonable (no charge to host, only charge was for food/beverages purchased). “Amazing food, looooooong wait times. I had heard about this place from numerous Clevelanders. This is a go-to chicken spot for many of the locals. This place isn't in the nicest area, but like many good eateries, that is a sign that the food will be good. I walked in and saw a lobby full of partrons who looked hot and tired of waiting. I didn't mind this because I knew I wanted to try them. When I placed my order, the cashier told me it would be about 15 minutes. Around 40 minutes later, my number was called. I overheard some other patrons stating that the cashier tells everyone the same wait time. I ordered 10 wings and fries with sauce on everything and a Polish Boy.My biggest mistake was waiting until I got back to my hotel to dig in. Our hotel was about 30 minutes away, so that caused the heat from the hot food to make my wings and fries a bit soggy. But, I could tell that if I had eaten them sooner, they would've been even better. Don't get me wrong, the food was still good, but I should've tried it in the parking lot. The sauce is amazing, and it can be purchased in a bottle. It reminds you of the sauce that they used to carry at Hot Sauce WIlliams. The fries were decent, and the sauce drizzled on them, making them better. The Polish Boy was huge, sloppy, and full of flavor. That is exactly how a Polish Boy should be made and consumed. Pro Tips When you order, make sure you are not in a rush. Eat your food shortly after getting it to avoid it getting soggy. Once you are in front of the lockers on site, you click the link in your text message and the door to your locker pops open! So cool!Today, I ordered my food in the lobby and just sat and waited on the bench for about 15 minutes while my food was being prepared.
