This place is phenomenal! This was our second time eating here and we have been so impressed both times! We normally would go downtown for special occasions, but there is no longer a need with this amazing place! Phenomenal food, stellar service and beautiful ambiance. This place is a hidden gem. We will return for EVERY special occasion!

The Standard offers really good food, though a bit pricey. The atmosphere tries to be intimate, but the music can be too loud. The outdoor patio bar is a nice, casual yet dressed-up space. The restaurant even personalized a place setting based on an online reservation. The stuffed salmon and Bouillabaisse De Marseille are excellent and generously portioned. Service is top-notch, with staff going out of their way to make the experience outstanding. The Chef/Owner and his kitchen crew create the most delicious food. The server is experienced, knows the menu, and is very pleasant. The portions are large, and everything is delicious. The service is amazing. It is a small venue with three dining rooms, each having its merits, and some nights there is live entertainment. The patio is comfortable, and the food is creative. The server is attentive and informative. Live music is available on Friday evenings, making it a perfect place for a nice evening with a significant other or friends. They offer a very good wine list and cocktails, and the quality of the meat, like the filet and rack of lamb, is phenomenal, even rivaling some steakhouses. Additionally, they always have a nice selection of specials from appetizers to dessert.
