“Our group of seven had a lovely lunch today. Although they were shorthanded, our waitress managed to be all places at once. She was attentive, accommodating and above all good-natured despite needing to be everywhere at once. We enjoyed great German food in very comfotable surroundings. I will definitely be returning.“
“Excellent brewery and common room for a hearty lunch or dinner. Our lunch was excellent between the chicken noodle soup, Hansa burger, great fries and the Rueben eggrolls. The beers on tap were very good, and a half liter went down pretty quickly. They had at least six of their own on draft and a number of others to choose from. The waiter was ab absolute hoot and reminded us very much of the efficient German waitstaff in Germany. I am sure this would be a great place to hang out at night, or even out on the patio in the summer.We also took a stroll through the import store attached to the brewery and ended up walking out with way more than we expected. What a great place!“
“Prepare to polka your pants off. The HBH from my town in Florida closed during covid and it was not known for good food. This was the best HBH or even german food experience ive ever had. Also my wifes first time to das Haus. Great success! The service and management were awesome, friendly and great to talk to. Beer flowed... Like beer. If you like german beer you have lots of options on tap all the HB beer is delicious. As for food, I recommend everything but we loved the potato pancakes, kraut balls, cheese pierogis, pretzels and must get the beer cheese, and sausage tower was amazing. “My wife and I came up out of town for a medical appointment. We were looking for something “real” and good. Das Schnitzel did not disappoint. The food was delicious. I didn’t feel like I was eating out of the back of a food delivery truck. I had the cabbage rolls, my wife has the chicken schnitzel with German potato salad. We shared a plate of the sauerkraut balls. Service was great, food was wonderful and the atmosphere was very inviting and relaxing. We will definitely be back.“
