50 Best Bar & Grill in Cleveland

“Rowley's Inn was a fantastic bar/grill type of place that we found on our recent trip to Cleveland. It was not in downtown Cleveland but rather on the outskirts in an almost residential looking neighborhood. It was a rather small and very busy place even mid week when we were there. They have a very large menu but they seemed to specialize in pierogies which is a Cleveland staple. We started off with an appetizer of Poutine which is a Canadian dish . It comes with a bed of fries topped with cheddar cheese curds and peppered gravy. That was a delicious starter as the fries themselves had great seasoning and the gravy was outstanding and who doesn't like cheese curds? For my main course I tried the "Clevander" Burger. It was an 8 ounce burger patty topped with kielbasa, a pierogi, saurkraut, beer cheese, stadium mustard, all on a seeded bun. This was a very busy burger with all the best Cleveland staples on it. Their pierogies were as good as advertised and even with all those different ingredients on there it all worked well together and made for a delicious burger. The beer cheese was probably my favourite thing on there but honestly it was all delicious. My wife enjoyed her plate of pierogies as well. This was definitely a worthy stop for a tourist in Cleveland. If I ever find myself back in Cleveland I definitely would stop by again.“

“Amazing meal and amazing service. The fatty brisket was insanely good. Parking is difficult- but worth it for this gem in downtown Cleveland. Don’t sleep on their mustard bbq sauce either. So good.“

“Delicious food and a variety of dinners on Fridays. Great prices on food and drinks. Love their salads and potato pancakes. O’Cevapi is another favorite and the steaks are out of this world. Great pork dishes as well and never dry with plenty of flavor. Drinks are simple, but a great price.“

“I just had a pre birthday party here on karaoke night and the bartenders made this a very epic night for me. Everything was on point, they all helped and attended to my guest for whatever they needed. My boo’s kept my drinks coming. Very find place to just come to chill and hang. I did food off the catering menu which was bomb per usual. They set everything up for and kept it warm. Five stars ✨ from me. Will definitely be hosting many more parties here. ❤️“

“After my mother passed away I was in a scramble to make all the plans. I had less than a week to find a place for her celebration of life. The manager Jason, was not only very helpful but patient as we work through all the details.
Having a large family I was wondering how this would work. The space was perfect. The service was just wonderful all the ladies serving us were attentive, helpful, and gracious.

The food was quite good. We were not thrilled with the pizza (I think maybe just a bit overcooked) but everything else was a 10! (Pizza was a 8).

I would definitely book this space again for any type of gathering. And honestly like just have meet ups here.

It def was sitting up there waiting a while to be brought out. We said something she said it was our fault for going outside for 5 mins. “Best spot in Cleveland, hands down.My friends and I were in town to visit Ray's Bike Park and we stayed in Ohio City. B and G Tavern became our "go to" for every night after riding. Relaxed place with good choices in music and plenty of pool tables! The owners are amazing and super friendly! They get into the party spirit all while maintaining professional control over their establishment. Cheap drinks, good vibes, and the best citrus pepper wings I've ever had!Can't wait to visit again in February of 2024!“

“Visited Gen's 176 for the first time this evening. It may not look like much from the outside but the place is clean and the food is really good. They have a nice size menu with a variety of choices. The pierogi are large and filled with potato and cheese (they also have other varieties). My companion had a mushroom burger. It was a 1/2 pound with lots of toppings and the tots that came with were hot and tasty. I had a veggie quesadilla full of cheese, mushrooms, onions and tomatoes (I passed on the black olives). Service was excellent! In all, it was a great, affordable meal. We will be back!“

Frank was at the door welcoming us in, Dominique was at the bar (I was impressed by her serving technique and i only ordered a beer). “This is a great local Jamaican spot that is fairly priced, especially for its high quality food. The owners were very lovely to talk to and helped me with my order in an efficient manner. They give out very large portion sizes so it is east to get full fairly quick because of how delicious the food is. It was a bit busier when I went in the evening but I assume it may be less busy during the day. I would recommend going then to avoid the wait times. If you are looking for some darn good local Jamaican food, please check them out!!!“
