“After a long exciting day at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, we needed fuel before our return to Chicago. We googled "food near us", not wanting a chain. The rating was about 4.5 so we decided to try it. Initially I asked the other patrons if food is actually served there, and they pointed to an area where the owner was cooking. He was genuine and warm, we ordered beverages before he returned to the kitchen to finish another customer's food order. My gyros was terrific and flavorful and my husband's club sandwich was also loved. It was clear the French fries were fresh - we are some even though trying to hold up to our resolutions to eat more healthily. One comment mentioned by a previous reviewer, yes it is a bar with a grill and not a restaurant per se. It would be helpful if the ambiance was enhanced a bit so females felt more at home. The bathrooms could use some TLC, and the floor tiles a nail or two to prevent tripping. Looking at it through a new set of eyes is the way to go. Think: date not boy's club and attract a new crowd. “One of my favorites. The food and atmosphere are terrific. We prefer to sit in the booths near the fireplace. The service is good but not great. We’ve had a waitress a few times that is excellent but we’ve had a couple of other servers that were good but not great which makes the service a bit inconsistent for me. “We aren't bar people lol but we've been ordering to go from their kitchen and their food is really good and so fairly priced! 3 meals plus some extras last night cost $33 before tip..... You really can't beat it. Their burgers have been great every time we've ordered and they have good, beer battered fries.Also the bartender was completely amazing and receptive to learning harm reduction education from me with 0 resistance? “Perfectly local! Who knew that tucked between a wine bar and a hip eatery was Tommy's Place, a neighborhood bar in the middle of downtown Rocky River. Tommy's is quiet, full of regulars, not to mention the smell of popcorn and skeeball are enough to make you want to come back. Sit at the bar or on the front porch, either way stop in, play some keno and stay awhile. Will definitely be back.“

“This was our first experience with ordering from here. Fresh ! Fresh ! Buffalo chicken wraps, 1 with crumble, 1 with ranch and 1 with blue cheese dressing. All came with fries. Fries were good, plenty of ketchup and napkins. Food was hot, wraps were grilled and huge, vegetables inside fresh, chicken was crispy dressing was good. Loved this wrap! Next time I would skip the fries and only order wrap. Too much food. Lol. I also ordered Caesar wrap to try grilled chicken. Not my fav, but if it had shaved parm, and some tomato slices it would be great. Romaine was crunchy and chicken was hot. Just a little plain. Overall I'll say great first experience! “My wife and I were pleasantly surprised by the warmth and friendliness of this local bar and grill. We stopped in midday for a quick bite and Maria the hostess, bartender, waitress, chief cook and bottle washer, welcomed us like long lost family. My wife and I shared a fish dinner which was served hot right from the fryer and the French fries were hand cut. The menu is limited, but Maria ran through their daily specials for the week and shared that she prepared a lot of the items from scratch. We were even gifted a large cabbage from regular customer who brought it in to see if it might be needed on the grill for St. Patty’s Day. We will be back to try out the specials.“
