“We did a private party for our 50th wedding anniversary on 9/21/24. Everything was fantastic including the staff, the food and the atmosphere. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. June was super helpful. We grew up in the neighborhood and this was the perfect place. Highly recommend for a private party.“

“This restaurant has been here in Berea for a long time. The food was excellent, and the waitress we had was so friendly and kind. My husband got the perch dinner, and it was absolutely delicious. I got the patty melt, and it was cooked perfectly. The menu is huge, and there is something for everyone. Also, there was a list of daily specials with a lot of great items listed.“

“Great family time. But No lifeguard and no boat rentals. Also changing rooms closed but bathrooms open. Wearing a watershoe encouraged due to wet floors. Toilets flush. Beach was clean. Have a volleyball net so bring a ball. Swings up, fishing, grills (charcoal) and can even rent a tent. Visited memorial day weekend 2022. The Cafe was open at 1pm. They have limited menu. I only had a cup of Honey Hut ice cream (no cones).“

“Our meal was great! Kid-friendly. Great service! Comfortable local restaurant that was moderately busy, but not packed and we didn’t have to wait to be seated. Trivia night. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Rice bowl with chicken, boneless wings, burger, and turkey Rachel sandwich. Ryan brought out our apps and kept checking on us. We wouldn’t hesitate to return when we’re in the area!“

Despite a packed house, she managed the entire dining room on her own with incredible attentiveness and patience. This level of top-tier service is rare, and as service workers ourselves, we had to give her well-deserved kudos. The food was equally impressive—the pretzels were unique and delicious, and the steak salad was honestly the best I’ve ever had. This place is a gem in the neighborhood!“
